The initial quote was not what I was charged in the end, they damaged several pieces of furniture and now will not respond to calls. They don't shrink wrap or pad anything, although they tell you initially that's part of the moving cost. It looks like I'm going to have to take legal action to have them pay for the damages. While their initial quote may be lower than others, I would advise you to spend the money and go with a more professional moving company and save yourself the headaches.

Superb move, easy, quick, productive and with care. This company and these two movers careless in all regards!!! Kicking supplies around, kicking Dollie's and wrap and blankets down a 15 flight staircase. Leaving their trash all around the apartment grounds, taking breaks and disappearing for 10-15 minutes at a time. Caught one of them going in the community building looking around and wasting time. Another sitting in his truck on his phone 2 different times just talking to friends. Call into management because this move was easy and minimum items for a two bedroom apartment with no additional things other than furniture and it is taking 3+ hours to load with me & my husband making trips to Lowe's to buy supplies because they were out, carrying things down and he stairs and into our vehicles to just get done quicker along with packing it for them so they just have to carry it. God forbid we carry items that can be carried with our hands!!! Everything has to be used with a dolly. To then I specifically asked management to not say anything to them since we were waiting for them to off load our items and he did resulting in the two staff remembers confronting me & my husband. When really a business owner myself I would want to know if my staff was 1) not working efficiently especially because this is a pay by the hour situation, 2) goofing off, being careless and disappearing and 3) tarnishing my reputation! They will take your stuff apart such as twin bed and king bed but not know how to assemble it back together. Didn't even have the correct tools we had to help again... To then for that amount of money this is how they leave your stuff.... BEWARE They charge for supplies not used and add hidden costs! But seeing how management handled the situation along with them allowing their staff to perform in this manner with no care to then confront us, it explains it all!!! USE ANY OTHER XOMPANY IN THE AREA OR HELL JUST DO IT YOURSELF; your going to end up doing it by yourself anyways dealing with this company because they don't care how long it takes. Derek and Tyler, the two movers, were very pleasant and got the one bedroom apartment loaded in about an hour and it all arrived in Joplin with no breakage or other damage. It was one of the easier moves I've been through.

The problems began with the move to AR. Four men showed up to pack up my stuff in Joplin. They underestimated the amount so had to wait for an additional trailer to pack most of the rest, this caused their truck to have issues climbing hills so it was over 2.5 hours to drive the 1.5 hour trip (I took a load in my truck too). For some reason, they decided to only send three men to unload! So after 12 hours they finally "finished" unloading. 5 Star did cap my rate at the maximum they estimated, but it could have been much less, I believe. The reason for the one star is that because of the delays and length of time for the three men unloading, they weren't able to reassembly the beds and furniture as they included in the estimate, and 50+% of my items are scratched, dented, missing parts, or broken! I would only use this company for local moves...nothing outside of the Joplin metro. Todd J

Beast Mode Movers showed no remorse over the death of my friend that I was requested to remove personal belongings. Not realizing these movers were not in Ponca City because they showed up in Ponca City's mover's list as a top mover, I needed movers and was in a time crunch. When they arrived, I was requested to send the remainder of the fee of which I did. Then the job was incomplete even though I was telling them that I was willing to pay for the extra time. The 15 foot truck was barely half full after two hours and they were like "this job is already going to be over 6 hours, we need to go". (2 hours travel and receiving the truck in Ponca, 2 hours to move what was requested, and 2 hours return trip) and even though I was telling them I wasn't worried about paying them (and I was adding a tip on top of the bill) they were determined they were leaving to drop off at new address. What was done was rushed. There was a dining room table that I insisted the top had to be removed first. They were "we were going to move it as a single unit" and proceeded to do so. They carried it by the top and the bolts stripped the connecting hole and the table now wobbles until I can get it repaired. The questionnaire even asked if there was something that needed to be disassembled. It was only two bolts! I had to wait for transportation for me, but they were in such a hurry that I knew I was going to be there shortly afterwards. It was agreed that the furniture that made it to the truck could be placed in my parking space... they put it in the wrong parking space in the next building.
