They came out to do our electrical for basement that is being finished. Both guys were professional. They had to come back to finish since drywall wasn't finished. I had a hard time finding a plumber and drywall person that would actually show up. I had them come to finish so they didn't have to wait. I was worried about that from beginning since it's hard to find hard working people now a days. Well regardless they did an excellent job. The second time the electrician came he finished so he wouldn't have to come back to do the electrical above the vanity. They were very responsive, timely, professional so I would definitely recommend. They were decent in price and I had 3 estimates. I would definitely recommend because they don't gouge you. VerPlank electric was awesome! Dave came to my house, checked out our situation and design for a standby generator. They gave us a reasonable quote - and lined everything up (permits, meter pull, etc.) for the day. Everything went smooth. I got my propane company to come out and run the line for our 12KW Fortress generator. Afterwards, Verplank electric came out again to test it out, and shows us the features. I could not be happier! Awesome company-highly recommend!! We needed to replace our old standby generator. Dave VerPlank came to our house and gave us a reasonable and competitive quote on a Briggs & Stratton generator. The new generator was installed quickly and worked great on our first power outage. Unfortunately, on our second power outage, the generator failed (on a weekend of course). We had the generator only 4 1/2 months. We left a message at VerPlank over the weekend and got a call back first thing Monday. The technician, Marc, was at our house on Tuesday to diagnose the problem and discovered several major parts in the generator had failed. When Marc contacted Briggs & Stratton he was told because the generator had exceeded the 90 day window they would not replace it but only repair. That was not satisfactory to Dave VerPlank. He called us that evening, after business hours, and told us we would be receiving a brand new generator. Marc, Steve and Parker arrived THE NEXT MORNING to install our new generator and everything went smoothly. Our power lines were ripped from the house due to storm damage. One company told me I had to pay $850 before they would even touch my house. Electricians' work is hard to judge. You can't see electricity . The light works or it doesn't. These people run your wires in a very straight line. It's visually pleasing. You'll know their work by it's the only straight wires in your house. That's a sign of seasoned people. read more

They came in, moved the meters, rewired, installed all lighting efficiently and professionally. They have also been our go-to for two homes and a rental house.
