She was okay and constantly checked with me about the color, style, and length. I appreciated how gently she brushed my hair, even from the shampoo and conditioner stage. However, she had long nails, which made my scalp feel a little uncomfortable. The biggest issue was the price. There is a deposit, and when it was time to pay, she charged me more than we had agreed on, saying the color and style required extra work. It was a mix of experience, plus she's running for her girls night out, so I'm not sure if I'll go back.

I've gone maybe once or twice a year for the last 4 or 5 years and I can't take it anymore. He travels all the time so it's impossible to be seen. Everytime I go in he dyes my hair but forgets to cut it or tone it... Last time I went in, he touched up my money pieces. The right side is about 5 inches wide and the left side is 1 or 2 inches wide. I've waited months to see him to get it fixed, he said "you should be my model, ill tone it for free and fix it next time" blah blah blah but he NEVER got back to me nor did he fix my hair.. I have felt SO ugly with my hair this ugly yellow orange brassy color and it's super uneven and money pieces are only supposed to be in the from bang part... he bleached the whole front right half of my head and like 1/3 of the front left side of my head... The back underneath is still DARK, then the top part of the back of my hair is blonder like he tried to hide the dark hair and not color it to save him time and product. Never again, imma stick to doing my own hair. Never spending $300 on shit service again. Even if they're nice, be honest. It'll save you in the long run.

Christina was my stylist, and though I think she seems like a nice person, didn't leave me looking very cute. I asked to be round brushed and to have curling ironed loose curls. She did round brush me, but then proceeded to very quickly gave me tight flat iron curls in random places. She asked if I wanted hairspray and I said NO. When I checked out, she charged me $45 instead of $35, not sure why. When I left I asked where was the closest place I could buy a curling iron (to obvious fix my strange hair style). Just disappointing to have to fix your hair after getting your hair done. Oh well.

I have had so many bad hair jobs since I moved out of San Diego that I never realized how great of a job Cindy does. I was - as every girl is - a bit nervous trying out a new salon about a year ago, and I am SO HAPPY that I did! Todd cuts, styles and colours my hair, and is amazing. He's really sensitive to what I'm trying to do with the look (even if I don't know what that is :-) ; and when I decided to chop off 12 inches, and gave him a fresh palate and said: "Go - make me pretty" - he did it! I also have curly hair, so it's always a battle finding someone who knows what to do in that area. With curly hair herself, I knew I was in good hands. I've had several haircuts by her and I've loved every single one. She also gives THE BEST blowouts. If it was in my budget, I would stop washing my hair completely and just have her blow it out every week. In addition to haircuts and blow-outs she does color as well.
