I just wanted a "curtain bangs", not regular bangs. Me and the stylist did discuss, length goes shortest to longest (with me describing while moving finger forehead to ear). Tell me, does Pinterest inspire photo has regular bangs like what she gave me?? She said she will try not cut TOO short (mind you I had hair at least by my nose). I came at 6:15pm, 30 min early bc she ask me to. I tried call back around 4-5 but store was busy that got hang up (I'm not upset nor mad here). She took a picture from my phone, one of Pinterest "curtain bang", yet gives me different style. Did she not listen what I wanted, just chop off at my under eyebrow level?? Once it was done she said, "look we have same style!!" - did I ask for that?? If so, when?? Also told me "it's short now, but the front hair will always grow fast" - will it be in 3 days?? Because I don't think so. You ignore my requested style, when I arrive early that you ask me to??!! I knew she messed it up, but I hold my anger and faked it thru to avoid the scene. No refund or apology can bring back my hair. I just paid, tip (or they'll ask why I didn't tip in this economy), then blast my tears and anger out in my car. I even said out loud that I was already standing in line, but instead of addressing it, the cashier looked right at me, then quickly looked away. The other cashier and the two girls completely ignored me. No acknowledgment, no effort to make it right, just blatant disregard. Horrible experience!!! first thing I came for a consultation and the hairstylist Rhyanne tested my hair. I wanted a balayage she told me she needed more time so I came back another day. I was there for approximately 6 hours and the end result was nothing close to what I wanted. I also payed $500 and my hair was burn and just brown. I called again to complained about the situation and the master hairstylist Jaclyn was super rude and told me that there was nothing they could do. My issue was not with the money my issue is that the hairstylist told me she could do it however at the end she said that it was a process. And this is why im giving a one star. read more

I dont know whats going on with this ulta but i swear everytime i go its just keeps proving that this location is awful. I went in this past Wednesday and seen signs on the maybelline side that you get a free gift if you buy any of maybelline product thats $20 so of course i grab a couple of things and yes i was a bit over the $20 and at the checkout the girl helped me but i didnt notice til after she rang me up that this came with a free gift. So on the way out i asked another employee and i showed her my receipt and the picture (listed below) and i said that i didnt get the free gift and she says "oh yea we ran out" so i said "maybe you should put a sign that says you are out so people dont get the expectation like how i did. And she says that they cant. I dont see why not. But anyways i told her "maybe you should take it down so people dont get the impression" and again she says that "we cant." So i told her that kinda false advertisement because on the shelf it says it and you're not giving it out. And yes this was still in the time frame before it expired. I double checked to make sure. Not only that was a problem, but also the employees. Literally nobody even acknowledged me or asked if i needed help. They saw me and went the other way. "Blind return" = total ripoff. This store has one of the absolute worst customer service experiences ever, but it is my local store so I have shopped here (or tried) on three separate occasions. I say "tried" because on none of those occasions was I approached by an employee to provide or offer assistance in my shopping experience. And never did I complete my purchases because I ended up googling information about different products myself, and each time found a better deal/price elsewhere. Today, my daughter tried to exchange a gift she received for Christmas (benefit benetint $24 retail price). Granted, she didn't have a receipt, so we expected store credit at an amount close to the retail price for this product, which rarely goes on sale anywhere for more than 15% off. The cashier scanned the product. It rang for $24. Then she typed something in the register computer and the amount of .50 pops up. The cashier offers 50 CENTS. I ask how can she do that? Have they ever offered/sold the product for fifty cents? She says no. The no receipt policy is that they search the lowest amount paid for by a customer. This may be a customer who used points, coupons, etc. and that is what they offer for a refund, or a "blind return". I can't believe this is legal. It is total corporate greed and stealing. My daughter didn't want to hurt the feelings of the gift giver by asking for a receipt, but now she has in order to not get this insanely ridiculous offer. Had she accepted, would Ulta sell the item for .50? Of course not. Total abuse of power and point system. I went in to buy shampoo/conditioner. It was recommended for hair growth. However, I was hesitant. The bottles are small for the price. I asked 2 employees if it didn't work, could I return it? Both said said it couldn't be more than 30% empty.. left me asking how will I know if it works?? IF IT WAS A LESS STAR FOR A REVIEW , this store will definitely will be the definition. Over 2 weeks, someone robbed the store, throwing pepper spray, customers were inhaling and coughing while inhaling and the employees just running around doing nothing to help customers putting all of them in danger until one of the customer yell where was the emergency exit door. My sister and her family went to this horrible situation . I'm disappointed that my appointment was not granted at the date and time it was schedule. I showed her that I had proof of the appointment and I had a message from her. I wondered around about 30-45 minutes before anyone interacted with me. The gel polish was not labeled to not open and I unscrewed a couple bottles to see the color. You don't TRY ON polish but to see the colors and the guy ONLY spoke to me to say don't open the gel nail polish to see the colors. Then he put a big DON'T TOUCH sign over the display and huffed away. I was actually looking to get about 10 gel colors (budgeted 150.00), foundation (40) , train cases for makeup (50) and some perfume (50-150). The the nail gel nazi followed me around and was creepy hover guy. In the 90 or so minutes in your store ONLY the cashier was polite and customer service oriented. The cashier gets a 10 for basic human interaction & being so kind and the rest of the location failed miserably. Overall, it was a pretty sad experience to be quite frank. I normally shop at the other locations but this one had a larger selection of perfumes available, which I thought would be perfect for Valentine's day! First off: there are no tester strips to spray on. They have a box of tissues. You're supposed to take a tissue, spray it, put it up to your nose to smell it and then.. ??? The right answer would be "Throw it out" but the small trash can they had in that area was overflowing with used tissues. There were used tissues all along the perfume displays, it was just nasty. And in the middle of a pandemic? Having piles of used tissues sitting on shelves is just gross. Found what I wanted, went up to pay and use my coupon I had.. but it wasn't scanning. He called a manager over for help, she had an attitude from the very start. She said "this is expired" - it didn't expire for 2 more weeks. "it doesn't work on these products" (the only exclusion was Chanel and Dyson, this wasn't either of them), "you've already used it", so we pulled up our whole order history to show it wasn't used.. but she didn't want to be proven wrong, so she just said "is this all you're getting? I came to ULTA to check out some highlighters and mascara. The ladies here were super nice. One lady assisted me in finding the Stila glitter for your eyes. They ran out but told me to call and come back when they get some more shipments on Monday. I picked up a highlighter from makeup revolution. I have heard some good things about this brand. I picked up mascara from Maybelline. Hope I like it. ULTA carries a few high end brands and more of the department store brands of makeup and other brands I have not heard before. Prices were fair for the department name brands but I still love Sephora more. Sephora has more makeup and brands. This store was nice and clean. They have hair care products and face care products. This ULTA is closer to me and doesn't seem too crowded. I will have to come back for that Stila glitter for my eyes. Loving the glitter look on the eyes. I will be back. read more

I'm actually a bit disappointed. I went and bought 4 items from the store, only to come home and find out that I was missing one iten. SO now I can understand that in some cases people like to scam the stores in this way but NO ME. So anyway I asked if it was there and she said no so I took her word looked throughout my Jeep I looked throug where I put the bag and the item I was missing was nowhere to be found I am very disappointed at the fact that they did not offer to give me a set of tweezers that I had bought. I caught her in her (management) in a lie when she said that it was the 1st item she put in the bag, I know it was not because I was there the. 1st item should put in the bag was my root touch up. I'm not blaming the clerk we all make mistakes....but the fact that the manager was already lying about what item was putting the bag 1st let me know that she was not gonna be honest about the mistake that was made. 2nd lie was when she said "awe yes I see were she put it in" keep in mind she already saw her put the item in the "first" when actually it was that last. This review is for the gentlemen working in the Lancôme department. My mother and grandmother went in today to buy some skin care. My grandma is very pleased with the service she received and the products she purchased. She is a long time Lancôme customer that has shopped at Macys for many years. A well known customer to say the least. She is very happy with her experience and the great customer service she received. However, the woman at the checkout counter was not pleasant. My grandmother had a stroke last summer and unfortunately it affected her memory and ability to walk and is just beginning to go out for the first time in months with assistance (hence my mom being there). The woman that attended her gave them attitude when my mom mentioned my grandma doesn't remember her pin (used her visa debit) and that if there was another method such as running it as credit (an option to bypass pin). The woman made a comment about her needing to check to see if she has enough money to bypass, which is rude and completely disrespectful especially when she is an ulta beauty credit card holder but happened to not have it at hand. Compassion and empathy are definitely not the core values of ulta beauty, at this location at least, and that's truly sad that customers can be profiled. Especially to assume that someone doesn't have the funds to purchase close to $600 worth of skin care. Imagine if that was your parent ? Luckily my grandma is too much of a nice person and in good spirits to not care. Remember, YOU'RE working and providing a service to customers who are there to spend their money. I need to grab a few items before going to the airport and no one is there for my business. Multiple people have walked up and left. While I'm typing this. So I came into this store at 8:52pm, and I already knew what I wanted, and where it was. I also knew the store was closing at 9pm, so I was just trying to get in and out real quick. At this moment I am so incredibly upset. I ordered two perfumes and a face cream for curbside pick up. First...they don't have curbside pick up, you need to go inside to pick up your order. Second and most importantly the face cream I received was used. It's not like you couldn't tell it was used from the looks of it or that it was given to me by mistake because the seal was broken to the box. When I opened the actual cream there was a chunk missing...in the shape of a finger. Now I'll be returning/exchanging this cream but the fact that I ordered curbside so I wouldn't have to waste any time and had to go in and for the cream to end up being USED...that is what's upsetting and really that is disgusting and unhygienic! For some reason no one is ever available to help you if you have questions. I asked an employee about getting matched for a specific foundation, she literally said "oh well you look like you're my skin tone so just get this shade." She then proceeded to trying to get me into purchasing an expensive ass pallet, when I told her "no thank you" and that all I needed was foundation she turned around and walked away. 3/16/2016-So, I hate to do this, considering how much I have always loved ulta. But I went to the salon yesterday hoping to get a touch up on my roots. I have highlights and just wanted something over my roots and highlights to last me til the next time I get highlights. So the colorist decided to put something in my hair. I don't know all the lingo cause I didn't go to school for it. (If I did I would be doing my own hair, obviously) anyways, she was really sweet. Dyed my hair, took me to the bowl to rinse me, she said it was really brassy. So went and grabbed a toner. (She did a high lift on my roots) so she put the toner ofter the color. We went back to the chair. My hair was orange at the roots from the high lift (my hair is naturally dark brown) and the ends were green from an ashy dye she used. I was in shock. I was crying. She asked me what I wanted to do to fix it, again I have no idea how to color hair, so I just cried and asked her to finish cutting my hair. Then after my hair cut was done I dried my own hair. Then asked to talk to the manager. The manager came out (after the talking with the colorist for 10 minutes and telling her side of the story or whatever they were talking about) she comes out and says "whats the problem here" I started crying and she didnt care obviously, she said I needed to pay for my hair cut but they wouldn't make me pay for my haircolor, even though she didn't see the problem, she also blamed the odd color on me and said it was my fault it turned colors because I had probably dyed it before I came in.(which I hadn't done anything to it in 4 months) She told me to never come back again and I had to get it fixed elsewhere. It was the most awful experience, I was devistated. I began the day with blonde hair, and ended the day with a dark chocolate brown (that I had to go to another salon cause ulta wouldn't fix it) and after talking to the other salon who fixed my hair they said you never ever put a toner on hair color, only on bleach. So the girl knew she screwed up. Anyways, I'm still devistated. So thanks ulta for telling me to never come back again and making it seem like it was my fault. I hope someone from corporate sees this and fixes the problem.
