I rarely leave reviews, but this experience has been so frustrating and unprofessional that it needs to be said. What should have been a simple NVR replacement turned into a three-month ordeal filled with delays, cancellations, and a complete lack of accountability. Over the course of this project, there were three scheduled appointments--each one canceled or missed--with little to no notice. On top of that, I sent more than 10 follow-up emails just trying to get basic updates, most of which were either ignored or responded to with vague, non-committal answers. There seems to be a serious breakdown in communication and organization within this company. A straightforward job should not require this level of persistence from a customer. At no point did I feel like my time was respected or that my business was valued. If you're looking for reliability, responsiveness, or even basic professionalism, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. This experience has been a complete waste of time and energy. read more

This review is solely based on management and owner of Vertex/Giant security/Mr.Locks. The working environment is very unethical/unprofessional from a business end, project managers and clerical staff are very inconsistent and incompetent with their work ethics and place the blame on the workers who carry the company name forward. Workers are unfortunately not recognized for their hard and consistent dedication towards the company but rather used. The owner Ron Barak is very misleading with a lot of false promises. It's unfortunate that I've spent over a year with a business like this, makes me feel like I've wasted my time vested in this company. read more

They refused to give out contact information of the technician that was assigned to the work order. They roughed in cabling but did not terminate them to anything which was supposed to be included in the scope of work. They were rude from the beginning (guy that conducted site survey- said he wasnt wasting a minute of his time with us) I have been in the industry for quite a while and have worked with hundreds of Low Voltage and never have experienced what I experienced with this company. We chose Vertex Security to upgrade our office CCTV system from an old analog system to an IP system. The setup came out great, the communication with Vertex sales person was good, he was informative, available and helpful, the installation was smooth even though they ran new wires to the cameras, they did clean and neat work (I was worried about that) the training was clear and the price is fair. Overall, I'm very happy with the end results. Now I can use my IPhone to check the cameras and to view the recording. The quality is amazing! Now we can actually recognize the faces instead of seeing grainy images. I have tried big names like ADT, i have also declined vertex in the past and went with a very small shop for a really cheap price but that end up to be a disaster that cost me more and eventually we had to do the whole system again. Forget about the fact that I had wires hanging all over the place.... Vertex gave me great deal , the best result so far and they are neat and clean. I would high recommend to anyone that need the type of product. read more

I attempted to set up an appointment for an intercom repair but they never responded to my emails. So I ended up having to use a different company for the work. A few weeks later they thought it was a great idea to send me an invoice for the work that they supposedly completed. No one showed up. No one replied to my emails. There was never an appointment and yet they are demanding that I pay them. Stay away from these guys. read more

The deal was coordinated through Tal, a very intelligent, informative and pleasant person. If you have the option, I would highly recommend to finalize the job through Tal. I moved into a new apartment in Chelsea and needed to replace some of the security measures in my apartment. There was an older CCTV system in place that I wanted to upgrade and also needed to replace my front door locking mechanism with a professional keypad lock. I called a few companies and decided to go with Vertex Security - they were very professional and courteous. Installation was done on the agreed upon date and took several hours. Once completed the installer explained to me in detail how to use the new CCTV system and the new Keypad Lock. We put out a request for proposal asking for vendors to offer us solutions after explaining our needs and budget for a new building control system that included cameras, an intercom system, elevator and door access control as well remote application that will control it all in one place that is intuitive and user friendly. Vertex provided the clearest understanding of our needs and offered us multiple solutions. We went over several manufacturers and their product offerings and how well they interact with the camera and access control. They took the time to make sure the manufactures chosen would properly interact with one another technically as well as practically. We finally settled on COMELIT for the intercom, KEYSCAN for access control , and NIKVISION for the camera's. The staff at Vertex had the patience, experience, and technical ability to combine these systems exactly how we envisioned it. The complex nature of this project, and Vertex's ability to put it all together was amazing. From planning to implementation and even training. Vertex really provided a tremendous value and deserves even 10 stars. read more
