They have a number of different classes and you can cross train as much as you want! I have found joy in trying new apparatuses and challenging my body in different ways! Start with the 1 class package to see if you enjoy it - but once i did 1 class i was addicted! I easily do 3/4 classes a week! BE WARNED - you will get bruises and be sore, but its one of the most rewarding experiences ever! All the teachers are wonderful! Celeste is my go to lyra hoop teacher. Jen, Jenn, Christina, Amy are my go to pole teachers now that im more advanced! Mei is my favorite beginner pole teacher and now teaches mostly at the new SJ location. Lisa, Debbie and Jen also have amazing heels choreo classes! Andy is my chair/sensual heels teacher and always brings the heat! Cindy and Rissa will get you flexible in no time! And Luna is an amazing hammocks teacher and performer! Jen fosters a welcoming community and truly cares about each student that comes through the studio. I've been going to Ly's studios for a few years now. I started in pole L1/2, now attend L2/3, and…read morehave taken some silks L1/2 classes. I've attended classes with Ly, Yisha, Jane, Yoko, Jo, Katya, and some other guest and sub instructors. There are a variety of classes offered for a fair price point. Each instructor has their own teaching style, but they all focus on student success and encouragement. I originally started pole dancing as a way to honor myself and my body, and with the help of the instructors, I've gained a level of self confidence that I never had. If I ever need to cancel class, Ly always checks to make sure I'm okay and asks if I need anything. Even though she has a lot of students, she's very caring and mindful of each individual. The classes are structured with a warm up, the instruction and practice, time to record/practice independently, and a cool down. The instructors provide hands on spotting throughout class and will walk you through any move to ensure safe techniques to avoid injury or troubleshoot if a move isn't working for you. Instructors will also provide simpler or more advanced variations of one move to ensure access and a challenge for each student. I am a pretty sensitive and shy person, but the community at this studio helps me break out of my comfort zone with a lot of positive encouragement. I highly recommend Ly's pole studio for your aerial arts journey.

I took two aerial silks classes here with Asia a while back, and it was awful…read more For my first class (Aerial Silks Level 2), I came prepared and trimmed my fingernails beforehand, as this studio requires it. Upon arrival, the instructor inspected my nails, handed me a nail clipper, and told me to cut them even shorter. I've trained at multiple studios, including Circus Center in SF, and have never had this requirement taken to this extreme. The studio uses an aerial rig that requires tying on a frame, and when I didn't know how to adjust the silks, the instructor seemed annoyed at having to explain it. During the class, she demonstrated a silks sequence twice, expected us to follow, and when I had difficulty, she told me to move to the Level 1 class. So, my second (and final) visit was to Aerial Silks Level 1. Asia still seemed irritated that I didn't instantly know how to rig the setup; this was only my second time there. Class started 15 minutes late, with just three students total. We then spent the entire hour doing inverts in a knot behind the back. I'm not exaggerating, nothing else for the whole session. When I asked to try something different, I was ignored and told we wouldn't move forward until my invert had zero knee bend. After 30 minutes of nonstop inverts, anyone's legs would fatigue. I've never had such an unpleasant, condescending experience with a teacher. I wasted a session credit on a class that not only started late but also taught me nothing.

There is going to be a change in ownership. This is where you channel your inner sensual goddess & are free to be slinky. I love that all the classes are taken in heels, however, you do not have to wear them if learning tricks - your choice. You get your individual pole which is a major plus. No sharing so you have the pole all to yourself & you don't have to time your breaks or attempts before switching off. Two different sized floor to ceiling poles & two rooms to take classes. They have a variety of amazing classes and they incorporate new classes and work shops monthly. Thank you to Mayari, Erica, & Aspara Sin for being amazing instructors ! I love Mayari's stiletto flow and Erica's L2 classes. Stiletto flow is all about pole flow, edge work and heel techniques. You get a combo to dance with and are encouraged to freestyle at the end. Erica is amazing - she breaks it down to the basics and helps you get to your pole potential. She gives different methods, modifications, and entries for individuals & ensures safety going up and down the pole. Aspara Sin's inverted you helps you with invert conditioning and getting to your invert goals. I also taken L2 classes where she subbed. They are such great instructors and help you reach your goals wherever your progress is at. All the instructors are very knowledgeable and encouraging. They really take the time to warm up our bodies to ensure we are safe to go on the pole. I tried Xinnia's booty bouncing basics and it was so fun. I wish I was able to take more. The studio is dark and you're free to dress in any attire that you're comfortable in. There's an app where you sign up for classes and buy credits. Price is similar to other studios however, you have your own pole so definitely worth it. One thing I wish can be improved is the communications with email, sometimes will get slow or no responses. But otherwise love love love Sedusa !

I have been taking pole classes once a week at Sedusa since 2014. I was scared and self-conscious,…read moreand did not even know how to walk in heels, let alone 6inch high ones. I was already pretty good at movement then being a Qigong teacher, and acupuncturist, but I also wanted to explore my feminine divine, and flow even better in dynamic fluid movement. After I saw the movie "Rock of Ages", my feed keep showing Sedusa Studio in Campbell, and the Groupon ad brought me in. Carol was the owner, and her patience and sultry voice helped relax my fears and discomfort, so yes by the end of the Intro to Pole class, I felt more competent in this new movement form and sensual, accepting of and excited to explore this more feminine movement style. The main studio is large and inviting with low lighting, feels safe for women to explore being sensual, with other like minded women in the community. The strength of this studio is that it is women focused, make it a supportive environment and community. Fast forward 11 years, where I've taken weekly conditioning "Slinking Strength" pole classes, and other group pole dance classes. Have performed as a group with other students, in the internal dance showcases. While the studio has changed hands to Felicia, who kept it going through COVID, and some teacher changes over the years, the essential vibe of the studio is the same and these days unique in the pole dance community with other studios opening in the area. There are some really good teachers (Erica, Mz. K, Sade, Laarni, etc) at Sedusa that keep the place running, who helped further my self-healing and poling journey so that I was able to to dance my first solo for the showcase last Fall. Finally also competed in the Pole Sport Organization (PSO) Golden Gate Competition March 2025, and got a Silver Medal representing the studio. Thank you, Sedusa and the fabulous staff and community for making personal dance dreams come true. Highly recommend to get stronger and sexier with better body positive image. If you've any personal doubts, just start now and you won't regret it!

I've been coming to Inspiration Studios for many years now, and it's one of my favorite places to…read moretrain and unwind. They offer both Pole and Aerial classes, each with their own vibe and energy. Pole classes are held in Suite N and tend to have a bolder, more expressive atmosphere. Aerial classes are in Suite O and are usually calmer and more focused on flow and form. Make sure you head to the correct suite depending on your class. When you arrive, just check in with the instructor, or follow the lead of others in the room. Some instructors like to check everyone in personally, while others are more casual about it. It's a no-shoes kind of space. For Aerial, you're usually barefoot or in socks. For Pole, you're either barefoot or in heels depending on the class. I've taken a variety of classes over the years, but these days I'm more focused on Aerial. I especially want to shout out KC, who is my favorite instructor. She's clear, encouraging, and just a great teacher overall. Her classes are the perfect mix of supportive and challenging, and I always leave feeling stronger and more confident. I've been a student since the studio was called Poletential, back when it was under different ownership. It's been great to see the space evolve while still staying a welcoming and empowering place to train.

***Teachers are great so far. I was disappointed by the booking system and the owner's indifferent…read moreresponse me having to pay more than necessary. *** Long version: I paid for a drop-in class ($25) for Partner Acro on Oct 10 and had a great experience. Nicole is great, along with Jensen. They were attentive and offered options as naturally in a big group there are people with different levels. I purchased a package 4 class pack for $135 ($33.75/class). I used one on Oct 12 for Aerial Silks with Joanie. I had a positive experience as I felt she was a natural at silks and leading a positive class. I wanted to attend Nicole's Partner Acro on Oct 17 but I had issues paying for a drop-in class online. Their booking system defaulted to using a class from my class pack ($25 vs $33.75). I did not book it. I called a left a message with the business number the website for someone to help. I described exactly what the issue was. I received a text confirming that I was booked. I was confused and thought maybe the studio saved a spot for me but I just needed to pay later. Then I figured out that one of the classes were used from my package. After class I asked Nicole who I can talk to about billing. And to my surprise Ly was there. It was my first time meeting her! I explained my issue and she kept pointing out that it was the fault of their booking system or something that I did. (Keep in mind that I did not book it. Meaning someone authorized manually booked it on the business side.) I was going to let the price difference go. I asked how I can book next time without experiencing the same issue. Ly told me to reach out to her or Nicole to book it manually. But did not offer me her phone number. I asked her how to reach her, after she gave it to me I realized it was the same number on the website. I told her that was the number I left a voicemail on that day regarding the booking. Ly said something along the lines of not listening to it yet. I was thrown off because she did not offer me a refund or price adjustment. I had to initiate how to move forward for next time I pay for Partner Acro (indicating that I have interest in returning). I also had to ask for her phone number as it was my first time meeting her, surely she did not expect me know her phone number! Now I know her cellphone is the same one listed on their website. She did not have any common curtesy to acknowledge my experience. In places like this studio people come to with the intention to learn and create positive experiences. Often times these places become like a second home as community gets built. Also people come here to spend their discretionary income which needs to be acknowledged because of how much it cost to live in this area. Its not the few extra dollars that I spent that left me with a bad taste in my mouth but it was the indifferent response.
