$22 for a bowl that not once, but twice was filled less than 1/2 way.
    Brooke L.

The food is consistently good as far as taste and quality. However, this is the 2nd time a bowl was ordered and filled less than 1/2 way. Also paid extra for the extra side hot sauce and the tiny sauce container was also barely filled. For $22 this is a huge rip off. I was offered a replacement but only if I came in person which isn't possible. I live in queens and only order to my job which also isn't very close. Unfortunately I don't think I'd be ordering from them again because this will just keep happening.

Very Berries Very Tropical Very Protein

Finally tried this place to grab a few smoothies. Parking in the area is scarce, and lots of double parked cars, but near the F train. Interior is pretty big with lots of seating, but we took ours to go. Lines are very organized to have a "pick-up order" line and "order here" line. It's very organized, but we used the kiosk to order and that was pretty quick and seamless. It was pretty busy on a Sunday morning and our 3 smoothies ready within 10 mins. Only downside is that I wish there were more smoothie options and variety. Lots of fresh juices, salads and ready made options in their fridge to pick and go. Also, their price point is pretty expensive, not cheap at all!

Beyond meat burger ( I took other half of bun) deliciously made!
    Cher M.

Wow the beyond meat burger as amazing!!!! I also ordered the sweet potato fries the fries were good with the exception that there leave skin on them which makes it hard to truly enjoy because the skin taste hard and almost inedible. I ordered the peanut butter joy smoothie (a bit too sweet for me) but it was good. Overall the most expensive part (the burger) was more than I hoped for. I will be ordering this burger agan. Just because I things did not taste to my personal liking it doesn't man I ill take a star off. It was good overall :)

    Very Coconut Smoothie

The best smoothie I have had! I got the coconut smoothie and modified it without cashews and oatmilk in place of almond milk. I went on a Sunday morning and wasn't too crowded. Looking forward to trying their acai bowls another time.

I tried the very tropical smoothie and the very berries, the tropical tasted like it was only made with bananas had no mango or coconut flavor at all. And the very berries just tasted horrible on top of that their service is EXTREMELY SLOW all this while the owner is standing there doing nothing, don't waste your money or your time.

    Kale panini, butternut squash soup
    Alissa M.

Ordered from Uber Eats and was very happy with my meal. The kale panini was so delicious, I didn't even feel like I was eating "health" food. The butternut squash soup was also good, although a little bland. The prices are not bad and they have so many choices on the menu! I can't wait to try more.

Had a sudden craving for an açaí bowl so I drove over the next morning to grab a berry filled bowl, should've added some nut butter to it, first bite was underwhelming. I expected more flavor, but overall it wasn't horrible. It wasn't sweet at all, kinda watery with little chunks of ice. The banana added some flavor to it. I think this makes for a great guilt free summer time craving if you're in the mood for something cool and refreshing.

    Mucho Matcha 20oz. DELICIOUS!!!
    Yulissa C.

Okay so yes it is expensive for a drink but they are so worth it. I tried the Mucho Matcha drink and it's $10 but it's so yummy!! Its the perfect balance of matcha banana and so many other flavors the nuts in the drink I believe are Brazil they do kinda get stuck on the straw bc of the chunks maybe they should crush them smaller but other than that it's delicious 10/10

Raw falafel salad from fridge. $14.

Would recommend not sitting directly in the aisle in front of the door if it can be helped as it's a major traffic area. We started with bread and za'atar, ended up getting the shawarma pizza and wings. So much food that we had to take the majority of the pizza home. Everything was so flavorful, cannot wait to come back.

Arrived early for dinner and stood at the door for a while with no acknowledgment. There were only a few customers so not very busy. I eventually walked to the back and asked a server if I'm supposed to seat myself. I was finally seated and then another wait. Almost felt ignored... A server finally came by to ask my order but since it was my first time I asked for suggestions. I settled on the vegan platter ($24) so I could try a variety of items. I also got the Labne and Shay Ma Na Na ($8) (mint tea).. They also provide a complimentary pita, olives, and zaatar. The platter is large enough to share between two. The dawali (grape leaves) lacked flavor, thin in size, and not much rice inside. Typically they have a nice tang to them and have more rice filling. There is a salad of just greens and large onion rings. I'd suggest using the olive oil as dressing. Falafel and dip was basic. The labne felt like something was missing, maybe needed more salt/zaatar or lemon. The tea was decent but the traditional pot it comes in leaks. I mentioned this and was told yea it does. I was given paper napkins. The traditional pot looks cool, but leaves wet drops of tea every time you try to pour in a cup. I'd suggest something else to avoid a wet table. My table was also wobbling. While the server tried to add paper to even it out, it still wobbled. Ended up moving to another table. There is a restroom downstairs. No elevator. Overall, loved the artwork and look of the place, but the food and service could be better. Perhaps I'll return to try the desserts someday.

I finally made it here for lunch and wow I was impressed!…read more They have a Mediterranean influenced menu and we ordered a few items which we loved. I ordered the chicken schwarma plate and falafel salad which were excellent - the fries were terrific and the overall atmosphere was to die for - it's a nice cozy space and the service was excellent The owner cares deeply about serving quality food at a reasonable price - they make challah bread over the weekends which sells out fast Definitely try this place you won't be disappointed

Israeli style with pickles, which I love. The chickpea soup was a standout. So flavorful and nourishing; definitely a nod to the sopa de garbanzos that I grew up with. The generous portion of labane is rich and complimented by herbs and an excellent olive oil. But it only comes with one pita! Personally, I'd prefer a smaller portion with more bread. Ok, first, let's be accurate about a few things. Etymologically, "batata" comes from the Spanish for "potato." This is a nod to "Sephardic" Jews, from the Hebrew word for the Iberian Peninsula (by definition, Spain and Portugal; after "expulsion," this came to include a diaspora more broadly northern African. In order words, western and southern European, not Eastern like Ashkenazi Jews.)

The eggs were cooked to perfection, the tuna was fresh and generous, and the coffee was so good I got another one to take with us on our walk through the park. Service was also great for a counter style restaurant. The place was small but had tables in the back and a clean restroom. Really great experience. I'd come back for the coffee alone, but I'm excited to try their curry bowls. Next time.

Usually the vibe is this: bright, airy, cafe featuring breakfast plates, many of them vaguely Mediterranean, with continuous additions made to the menu announced via large sign print outs taped up all over the walls and windows of the space. While he's tested out a burger spot, an ice cream concept, his most successful business has to be Cafe Madeline, directly next door to this here Atelier December. With Atelier December, and with Victorian Cafe over on Coney Island Ave and Cortelyou, he's pretty much replicated this formula with much success, as it was packed on the Monday afternoon I visited. Unique to this menu are the pancakes, which come in the flavors pistachio, hazelnut praline, lemon zest, and coconut. I opted for the coconut and it was the best thing on my table. The turmeric fried eggs plate I got sounded promising but was decidedly mediocre and way way oversalted. The cardamom latte was delicious. So some hits and one miss, but overall a solid cafe to get some work done, catch up with a friend, or to take yourself on a solo brunch date to.
