Always amazing. I am probably one of their more worrisome dog dads because of his medical history and issues we've had with other clinics not giving great care, and also what I do for a living (I'm a vet for humans). But they don't treat me like I'm ever too much of a bother, and the care they give my buddy is incredible. They listen to the whole story, they involve you in decisions about the direction of care you'd like to take - aggressive or conservative, which again, with our medical history is important. Today I was offered one expensive treatment plan or another much more affordable one "but the plan will be the same" - so they didn't try to convince me of paying more for the same outcome, didn't try to "upsell" the visit, but at least gave me options for now and FYI for the future. I usually see Dr Lee, but we've seen other docs there and I'd see any of them! I'll say, some of the other reviews sound like "you problems," so please don't read too subjectively into all reviews. We came to a new vet with a small chip on our shoulders, but VP has absolutely put us at total ease. read more

I brought my cat in for a prescription renewal (08/14/2025) and told Vet Partners ahead of time that we did not want his rabies vaccine updated this visit. It's current through September, and we planned to do it at the next appointment due to cost. Once in the exam room, the vet repeatedly pushed the rabies shot, even after I declined multiple times. I explained the cost concern and that it hadn't expired, but my "no" was not respected. I felt interrogated, bullied, and like I had no say in my own pet's care. As a non-confrontational person, being forced to defend my decision over and over was overwhelming and upsetting. I left feeling unheard, drained, and on the verge of tears. No should mean no -- especially when it comes to my pet and my budget. read more

I would consider another Vet office. Valley Partners Plymouth, seem to think they are the "Mayo Clinic" of pet care. With placards that basically say "Be very careful what you say to the office staff or we will kick you of here". Office staff seem to think they can substitute their opinions and answer for the Doctors. I for one believe when you have a question for a Doctor you are not interested in having office staff ask the doctor for you. When this is concerning a procedure you paid for (very high rates here), the Dr. has an obligation to provide answers without others interfering. Having a BrewPark there is cool and I am sure it draws customers, but I can get my beers elsewhere. read more

I had missed an appointment because of work so I called to cancel/reschedule. had to pay $89 deposit which I understand. personal things came up so I had called before my appointment to reschedule and they told me I had to pay ANOTHER $89 to reschedule for a new appointment. I had told them I already paid the appointment deposit and that I'm just trying to reschedule and they wouldn't let me use the prior $89 for the new rescheduled appointment. so I had them email me my pets records and I'll be going else where. this place is over priced and gives very poor service. read more

We went to vet partners on 6- 9 -2025 Went in for four vaccines each for my dogs. I was told to have the rabies proof for one of my dogs told them that I forgot to bring it and I have it at home still made a fuss about it saying that it's a new policy that they have to have a certificate, although she did not state that Before the altercation I felt like they were prejudice towards my skin and would never go back there. I felt like I was under pressure and she also told me if I don't get my one of my dogs rabies vaccine certification that she will not let me leave until they get their rabies. Shots would not listen to me while I was telling her he does have his rabies shots made a fuss about it. It just was too much and the appointment lasted longer than it needed to be. They were pressing about stuff that had nothing to do with what I came for. I've been going here for I wanna say maybe a year too I will never go back there again made it very complicated for my visit. I will say that that woman that I dealt with was a BITCH. Would definitely not recommend Vet Partners Plymouth. While I had ok experience on two prior visits, the last visit in December was a disaster! I became the owner of a fully trained service dog with great people personality and no history of trouble with getting nails trimmed. On last visit one of their techs traumatized my dog due to poor handling and bad or no skills with dogs. They couldn't finish nail trim and suggested medicating before bringing her back. I found another Vet Clinic who we're very pleased with and working to de-traumatize her fro this bad experience. I wrote to the owner Dr Woodward and she wrote back never taking any responsibility for what happened, just justifying what they do. As a former foster mamma (now proud owner), this was the vet that my agency Underdog Rescue partnered with and so by default, we landed here. As part of my agreement with Underdog Rescue, the agency pays for the neuter and microchip procedures which is where my review takes place. I appreciated the large parking lot with various grassy areas for the pets to leverage and complimentary disposable bags and a garbage before entering the building. The interior was very clean and had attentive schedulers awaiting my arrival. The check in procedure was quick and there were various sitting areas as well as a very small gift selection area. When ready, the assistant introduced herself to me, went over the procedure and was very informative overall. Once I felt comfortable (didn't take me long), my dog headed back for the surgery. I spent the entire day in Plumouth exploring the city and when I received a phone call that my dog was ready to be discharged, away I went for pickup. The discharge process was very easy as the assistant brought my cone headed dog back to me and explained side effects, next steps and current required medications. Unfortunately, the procedure took a little longer then expected as apparently the doctor had to run to an emergency situation so rather then being called by the doctor, the call came from the friendly assistant which really was no issue. For those curious, my drop off time was 8 am and discharge was 3:45 pm. Additionally, there is a $5 off Yelp coupon which caused confusion on how to apply it at the time of purchase (I had some extra fees but after various digging they did get it to apply). Due to the mixup at discharge and confusion on how to apply the Yelp coupon, I rate this 4 stars. Overall, my journey was positive especially with the kind, gentle and patient staff members. read more

The customer is bad, rude, or disrespectful. Never was there anything but concern about my beloved furry sweetheart; the patient who can not speak. Dr Lee asked me to ask for her when I called in. I was following her advice from when she called me after work one night, She advised me to call back during the day and ask for her. Dr Lee knows HM. We almost lost her last spring. Her organs were shutting down - unknown Dx. Our beloved furry loved one in addition had a tumor that was causing her to go downhill even after we stabilized her. WHAT REALLY happened on that call. Lindsey shared Dr Lee was in surgery and not able to talk. Understood so I asked if Dr Lee could call me at her next available time. Lindsey then stated I could just talk to her instead Of Dr Lee. I asked kindly if she was also a vet or doc. She stated no but she was just as good. I simply stated "Thank you but due to all the work to help save our girl, and we had built rapport with Dr Lee". ( Honestly, we simply were following Dr Lee's instruction and that was to ask for her). It has been an extensive journey. I went on to add, we don't want to change anything in our treatment of our G-Doodle. I also shared my private battle with my health, I am close to needing another open heart surgery as well, and I too am frail. WIth an aortic aneurysm I could not yell, unless I wanted to cause a stroke. Lindsey did not respond once to the communicate kindness, empathy, concern, nor compassion. Instead ignored my sharing my private battle to avoid a major heart problem that could be fatal. Instead, she let out a heavy sigh like our conversation was boring her. I then asked for a manager, shocked by the rude and disrespectful treatment I was getting on this call. Once she transferred me, it was clear from the first words, she had not been honest with you. Before I said one single word, I was being accused of terrible disrespect and not being kind. How could I & why would anyone want to be disrespectful of a team that you have respected for years? Why would we change & decide to be rude that day? Past behavior predicts future; our past behavior was gifting, showing kindness & appreciation. SO here is the most important thing you need to realize. Knowing only half of a story can be even MORE DANGEROUS then the WHOLE story. We have been with Vet Partners a VERY long time, we have never had any problems until very recently. I recognize that I'm not a perfect person & I know I have been experienced a traumatic last 2 years w/ massive AI Cyber Intrusion extreme losses & my heart is not strong. it is EVEN more critical for our four leg girls to get better. If anything we need to work together to help our pets, their unconditional love is so amazing, and we do not want them to suffer. All you are doing is hurting a sweet dog away from her thoughtful smart Veterinarian Dr Lee, who is working hard to save HM. The ones you are hurting here are the fur babies that do not have a voice. The disposition of our pets is learned from their owners. Our two dogs are kind, loving, gentle and full of empathy. I tried to make an appointment for my dog to get her spay done. I scheduled our first appointment and then was called the day prior informing me that the vet has refused to see my dog unless I get her rabies vaccine that was overdue. So FIRST she isn't overdue. They are basing their opinion on gossip from the last vet clinic who are zealots who can't listen and hear that I did not want her anesthesia and rabies together. I asked for a titer to understand how urgent the rabies vaccine was as I did not want to wait for spaying (if her titers are high from her last round, she can wait a month after surgery). Instead of understanding my concern and discussing it with me, they refused to see my dog unless I agreed to their ultimatum. How coercive. What bullies Such incredible disrespect. read more

I needed to get my dog in right away and my primary vet didn't have an appointment. Vet partners was able to get us in with an urgent care appointment. This facility is so wonderful and well thought out. They have a small restaurant/bar that we were able to sit and wait while we waited on results for my dog. There is an indoor dog park that you can view from the bar and it was fun to sit and watch the dogs play, while having a beer - it helped take my mind off the pending results. Dr. Woodward came and found us with the results, she was so knowledgeable and concerned even though it was the first time meeting her. I didn't feel rushed and she answered all my questions. I would definitely recommend this vet to anyone looking for a place to land with their animal. Staff was all amazing and friendly. I have nothing bad to say about this place. read more

I am super disappointed and upset with this vet and I will never be bringing any animal back here, and I recommend others do the same. I brought my dog here 3 times in the past month. My last straw was that he had a blister in between his furry toes on his right paw, brough him in, cant go in because this place is one of the few that don't let you go in because they are scared of covid. Don't even care if you wear a mask they don't let you go in & that is hard on animals. Anyways, the vet called me 10min after looking at him, and asked me what paw his blister was on? After I had already told them. She said she could barely see it so it's healing so keep doing what I'm doing. Well. It's 5 days later and it's back again & I am so upset at them for not giving any advice, not looking thoroughly, not caring & not helping me with what seems like a simple issue. I do not recommend this place to care for your dog. My dog has been coming here as his primary care since he was a baby. I informed them he was having seizures and they didn't believe it, they kept saying they need a video. I took him to the emergency room Saturday because my dog seemed to be in pain and they sent us home with allergy meds. My total cost was about $215 and they didn't even treat my dog. A day later, he had 5 seizures within 10 hours. I ended up taking him somewhere else and they were able to send him home with meds. Do not send your pet here - they seem to care about money and when they don't know how to diagnose the dog, they make things up. read more

I recently moved to Minnesota with my German Shepherd and was looking for a vet. I saw an offer thru Groupon and decided to check out the clinic. Making an appointment was very easy. Office personnel are very nice and helpful. Vet techs are responsive and friendly. Dr. Angie Woodward was able to connect immediately with Fiona, who is usually skittish around strangers, especially vets. A week after that first appointment, I took Fio back for a tooth cleaning under anesthesia and Xrays. Dr. Woodward called me to let me know she needed 3 extractions and then called me again once it was done to let me know how it went. I picked Fiona up and I could tell she was happy and felt comfortable with everyone there, even the office mascot, a cat! Fionas' mouth has healed perfectly. I am very happy to have found Dr. Woodward and her clinic. I look forward to many years of her taking care of Fiona. read more

Don't go to Vet Partners here for routine procedure. Your pup will end up like this: Went in for a routine 2d opinion on February 13, 2020 and Sydney was seen by Dr. Smith. Doctor recommended a ultrasound which was administered under the care of Dr. Angela Woodward on February 17, 2020. Sydney had to be euthanized due to bile leaking throughout his inner cavity. Sydney was euthanized on February 21, 2020. Condition slowly went downhill after his appointment on February 17, 2020. Please don't go Vet Partners in Plymouth Minnesota. I would definitely encourage pet owners to do their research before deciding to use VetPartners as their primary vet. We have experienced several issues with them over many different visits: 1. Their hours are terrible. 2. The doctors would talk us into vaccines that were unnecessary for our dog. They simply pushed their annual plan and standard vaccines with no care to the actual dog's needs. When we opted out of a vaccine that we didn't find necessary, the doctor came into the room and told us that if we did not get that vaccine, that our dog would get that disease. Hands down. She then questioned our choice as to why we would chose another vaccine but not that particular vaccine. Though she never asked about our dogs needs or day to day schedule. 3. Our dog experienced a strong allergic reaction to their vaccines after a visit one day and we could not get ahold of them after the appt because they closed so early. The next time we went in, they blamed us for not reaching out to them that day. The technicians are very sweet and helpful, but unfortunately I believe the doctors care more about receiving our money than caring for our dog. We will be considering other vet options going forward. read more

Dr. Woodward is the best! Super knowledgeable, and awesome with animals! She took fabulous care of Loki (our puppy) when we had to get him fixed. The Vet Partners team was very engaged with Loki as soon as I dropped him off, which made us feel comfortable that he was in good hands. He recovered quicker than expected from the surgery and was back to his normal self later that night (which meant we had to try and keep calming him down so he wasn't too playful). Vet Partners has unique care packages (at least I have never seen them before) that gives you a holistic health care schedule for your pet that I think is pretty cool. Just sign up for a package and then when the time comes due for a vaccination or a visit, they will let you know, and you head on in. It's a great way to help us stay on top of our pet's care during our busy lives! Definitely the best vet we have ever used, highly recommended! Thank you! read more

Unfortunately, my story is sad but my experience with this Vet was unbelievable!! My dog started having seizures and the vet I had had in Maple Grove for over 20 years (an Animal Wellness vet) said they were too busy to see us. Franticly, we started looking for an alternative and my wife called Vet Partners. Even though they were over booked they had the compassion to say they would see our dog and at the least, advise us of what to do or where to take him. Unfortunately, that the extra time to get him to this vet was too long and he died in my daughters arms in the car. When I carried him into the vet, I said, "I think he's already gone" but they still rushed him to the back to check him out. EVERYONE at this place was great!! When I get my next dog, I know where I plan to take him/her for all the vet services!! read more

My Forrest is 80lbs of determined enthusiasm who doesn't appreciate having his ears touched. Unfortunately, he developed some sort of growth on his ear. After taking him elsewhere and being given ear drops after the vet looked at him for about 5 minutes, my experience with Dr. Lee at Vet Partners was amazing. She got down on the floor and petted him. Let him knock her over and lick her face. She let him greet her like a normal dog! She spent so much time asking me questions about him and doing all she could to accommodate him while examining him, rather than the other way around. When she told me the treatment plan, I understood the "why" and felt confident that it was the right choice. After taking a biopsy of his growth and a swab of his inner ear, she sat with me in the waiting room (on a Saturday afternoon even!) And talked with me about him for another good 10 minutes, answering any final questions I had. Great experience and they even told my fur baby how handsome he was :) will be bringing him here from now on! read more

I've been going here for a little while now and I love it. The staff is wonderful and they have been super helpful while trying to figure out some of the issues with my dog. My pup has had Giardia twice (because he can't stop drinking from those scuzzy puddles), we had to figure out his food allergies, awkward nail trimmings/him splitting his nail and probably more. They offer a monthly package and it has been a saving grace for me for all of the visits and tests we have needed. Normal dogs hate vets but mine really loves going because the people are so sweet and wonderful to him. My previous foster dogs had a surgery, teeth cleaning, etc there. I witnessed how professional and friendly all the staff are. They truly care about your furmily. I now take my 2 dogs to Vet Partners. Nothing against their previous vet, but I like Vet Partners better..... They have payment plans that you can pay small monthly fee for all the shots, teeth cleaning for a year. It is worth it and I really recommend it. read more

My first experience at this vet was outstanding but as new symptoms developed for my dog and situations where I needed to bring my dog in to get checked, I feel they overlooked obvious symptoms of my dog as a new pet owner. My dog had obvious symptoms that should've stuck out to a vet but as a new dog owner I wasn't sure about. I learned more about the symptoms from doing my own research, when the vet should've told me what was going on. She never gives you complete information and makes it feel like it's no big deal, she has lost personal touch with the patients while still being the practice owner. I felt that they weren't listening to what I saying and didn't take the time they should to really check my dog over. I felt that Dr. Woodward wasn't concerned with my dog, rushed, I had to tell everything to the Vet Tech that would relay to her, which made me feel like I was going through a messenger system. There was one point when I had to leave my dog for a service that was all day, and then got a call saying that I needed to come pick my dog up because they were overbooked and didn't have space. I know I can trust them with my pets and they always make sure that my pets come home happy and healthy! I also love the fact that they have payment packages which makes it a lot easier and cheaper in a sense that way I can pay monthly instead of paying Vet fees all at once. Dr. Angela Woodward always goes out of her way and answers any questions I have with the best of her knowledge and always has very good advice and recommendations. I'm really on the fence about this place. Every single time I've been there they have been running late. I called to make an appointment and was scheduled for the following day at 4:30. I was there 5 minutes early and waited 10 minutes in the lobby and was then put in a room. Another wait for the vet tech and yet another for the vet. The vet came in, did a quick exam, gave my dog a shot and probably spent 5 minutes in total with us. A full half hour there of which, about 5 minutes was spent with us. They did offer to trim my dog's nails for free and while that was nice, I would rather have been seen at my scheduled appointment time. Happily I haven't needed to bring my dog in a lot but I don't remember seeing the same vet twice. The techs and vets have been nice but they clearly have problems with over scheduling or something. They sure didn't spend much time with us so not sure what else to think. I'm going to check around -Just not comfortable with the lack of continuity in care and their lack of respect for my time. read more
