The Doctor is the worst. Extremely rude and disrespectful. He brings the whole place down.

We were continuously given medication without a clear explanation of the underlying cause. When we finally sought a second opinion at another veterinary hospital, we were informed that he had advanced stomach cancer as well as kidney disease. We were told that his condition had progressed significantly and that earlier, more comprehensive testing might have made a difference. We were devastated to learn that it was too late for effective treatment and had to make the heartbreaking decision to put him to sleep. What makes this even more upsetting is that after losing our dog, we continue to receive repeated calls regarding the remaining balance from the last visit. During a time of grief, we expected empathy and compassion not persistent billing reminders. Pet owners deserve transparency, thorough diagnostics, and genuine care

The staff from that first horrible phone call to make arrangements to put him down until the very last moment of picking up his ashes was nothing short of exemplary compassionate service. I have never written a review as sad / of this content …read more.. Yesterday, we as a family, had to make a hard and humane decision for our sweet 16 plus year old Dachshund who had been ailing for several months ... Our boy now had fluid both around his heart AND lungs ... He also went down to less than 5 lbs ... We saw a young female doctor who was utterly kind, compassionate and empathetic. She was so gentle with our boy and patient with us. I was bawling and my kids were very upset and teary eyed. We were only offered two options and agreed on the worst one that was best for our sweetheart... The process started and I held my boy while my kids pet his tiny head. Jack passed peacefully and didn't flinch with the needle, as with all other vaccinations in his long life ... We opted for cremation ... we got his paw print in a sweet small plaque and locks of his fur in teeny corked bottles :( I am unwell and will never be the same, but this doctor (I was out of it and forget her name) and assisting staff were exceptional. REST IN PEACE MY JACK - I LOVE YOU FOREVER ... .

When we were finally near finished at 4: the came in and said that it was absolutely necessary to follow up with the internal medicine specialist, I explained that I have scheduled that already and she said no I got you one sooner because the bloodwork is a must- had an appointment there for two days after the day they gave but they insisted the had to be done soon. Several several emails reminding me of the appointment and reminding me that a $50 fee for any cancellation that is less than 48hrs. I GET A PHONE CALL THE DAY BEFORE TELLING ME THAT I CAN HAVE A VIDEO CHAT INSTEAD OF COMING IN?? THAT IS OUTRAGEOUS, JUST MONEY GEARED AND NO INTEREST FOR MY BABY. I THOUGHT THE BLOOD WORK WAS THE REASON I WAS COMING? EVEN WHEN I ASKED I HAVE TO STAY ANOTHER 7hrs? THE WAITING MAKES YOUR DOG VERY STRESSED-the reply was no you'll just meet the internal medicine doctor have the blood work and leave. It will all be done in about 30 minutes it's all about the dollar in there not about your loved one. Also take the meds and check them to other pharmaceutical pricing you would really be outraged.

It was a brutal winter and I also had a cold, and maybe assumed we were in the same boat. But she encouraged me, against my own reluctance, to get an x-ray immediately. I did, and the x-ray revealed it was a much more serious condition called congestive heart failure. She helped get him emergency doses of a medication that likely saved his life during a really stressful snowstorm week in February where it was difficult to coordinate. She also pushed me to take him to a cardiologist, which I was also reluctant to do. But I'm glad I did. He was really at death's door 5 months ago, and now he's under a treatment plan that has kept him alive with decent quality of life. I'm super grateful to the Dr. Lee, and the staff generally. I almost forgot to leave this review for the treatment that happened in February, because when you're stressed out over a pet and the pet survives the last thing you think about it giving credit on yelp. Your mind is on your pet. That's something to consider when reading reviews. I also just took him in for a vet-tech appointment yesterday and the tech also was super helpful and reassuring. So overall this place has been great.

The treatment she received at world of animals was abysmal. This practice has serious issues with communication, knowledge and accuracy. I was first told my cats cancerous tumor was benign and to just "try antibiotics", then after removing the tumor, I was inaccurately told that they removed all of it, and that she would survive many more years and no treatment was needed, and I was dismissed and almost laughed at when I would bring up concerns about how she was acting. In fact, they did not remove it all, and her cancer was extremely aggressive and she needed treatment that they didn't even tell me about, so she only lived another 6 months. My final interaction with this practice was them giving me the wrong dosage for my dying cats pain medication, which was TEN TIMES her normal dose. Luckily I noticed before giving it to her. I highly recommend going to Penn Vet or PASE for anything cancer-related, and will not be taking any pet here again.

I had my dog Kiki since she was a tiny puppy. She was fiercely protective of me, loyal, and incredibly kind in so many ways -- truly one of the best dogs I've ever had. Her aggression started around age 3 and grew over time, especially when she felt jealous. Despite years of trying to manage her behavior, rearranging our home, and attempting to find her a suitable adoptive home, nothing worked. When she nearly bit my infant, I knew I had to prioritize the safety of my wife and two young children. The decision to euthanize Kiki on March 8th was heartbreaking and has left me feeling very low ever since. Your team -- the veterinarian, vet techs, and all the staff -- could not have been more kind and understanding. You sat down with me, listened carefully, and helped me thoughtfully assess the situation and everyone's quality of life. Your empathy during such a painful time meant more than I can say. Today, I opened my mailbox and found the most touching handwritten letter from your hospital, along with Kiki's snout print and paw print. I completely broke down crying with my wife. That small but incredibly meaningful gesture helped release emotions I had been holding in for weeks and is truly helping me through the grieving process. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your professionalism, compassion, and for remembering Kiki so thoughtfully. You are the best veterinary team I could have asked for during this time. I will never forget your kindness. Sincerely, Mark Adsuara
