They had like a 6-month wait and pretty strict booking/cancellation policies, so I was honestly a little intimidated and thought this place was going to be super strict AND super expensive. Then my dog got a really bad ear infection that ended up spreading and causing problems with his skin, eyes, basically everywhere. My regular vet wasn't available, so I ended up coming here...and THANK GOD I did. We've now been here FOUR times and every single experience has been amazing!! Believe the reviews! The vets actually take their time with you. They don't rush you out, they answer your questions and genuinely seem to care about your dog. I even had a question after one of our visits and the veterinarian personally called me back to talk to me about it. My dogs also have major anxiety at the vet, and they told me I could wait in my car until a room was ready and then bring them straight in. Seriously, THANK YOU!! It made such a difference. Some things are a little more expensive, but honestly other prices seem average and the care has been worth it. Front desk is amazing, staff is amazing, vets are amazing. Everyone is so nice and the whole place just feels calm and welcoming. I went from being intimidated to now absolutely loving this place. HIGHLY recommend!!

The waiting room is large for spacing out pets. The pseudo exam room was such an excellent touch! It's a smaller waiting room off to the side. There aren't any exam tables in there, just a few seats and a big open floor where were able to sit down with the pets. The attendants and doctors come into the room for interactive exams but take the pets back to do any bloodwork etc. It's such a warm and welcoming alternative to traditional vet visits. They don't attempt to up charge you or mislead you in any way. They are very forthcoming and clear in their communication. All of our questions were answered comfortably and we truly trust them with our furry buddies' lives.

We easily made an appointment and my husband brought him in. The facility itself is clean, with plenty of seating to wait for your appointment. The people working here are friendly and really kind. Turns out there was nothing wrong with him, it was just something chihuahuas do when excited or nervous. After realizing that, he was given a check over and turns out he's a very healthy good boy. We had to come in again for a different issue a few months later and while the people working here were still friendly and nice, I felt that our concerns weren't really taken seriously. I will come back in again because of the first experience but I might change vets if our concerns are basically ignored again.

I would never talk bad about a business but I feel the need to warn you all and say think twice before sending your beloved animal here. My poor baby Darla had a seizure so we rushed her here asap. After a series of expensive tests and 5 over night stays, her tests all remained negative. They scared us by saying if she was off her IV, she could die. They took every hard earned dollar and pulled on our heart strings and poked and prodded her veins dry. Finally, we just had to get a second opinion. So we discharged her against "medical advice" and took her to another vet who said there was nothing wrong with her and after one overnight stay, they discharged her. Are these people so money hungry that they'd put my poor baby through all these unnecessary tests? And what kind of people take advantage of the fact that as pet owners, we would do anything for our babies? Avoid this practice at all costs

Emma has had a lot of things happen and Dr. Blakesley and the team have cared for Emma in the most heartfelt ways. We have been there more recently lately and the staff from the front office, Emma #2 (human version), to the techs who have been giving Emma her fluids, Jill, the most amazing tech who loved on Emma dearly, to Dr B, these people are angels on this earth. We initially started coming here because another vet in town was trying to do something shady and I am so forever grateful that that happened as Emma had the best care in the world and the best people in her life when things got tough. It doesn't matter where you live, we moved to Southern Highlands, and we kept coming here. I would advise anyone to make the change and come here and see Dr. B, the most genuine, caring, amazing vet I have ever known. I will miss coming here from the bottom of my heart. I hope someone can read this and make the decision to switch and get to experience the best pet care in the world. Forever grateful for you all loving on our Emma girl. All of our concerns have been addressed and the staff is friendly and smiley. The inside is clean and doesn't smell like strong pet odors. I look forward to continued care here because we truly spare no expense for our two little ones.

It's in the new Walgreens and where the Babk of America used to be. It's import to tell you where it is because the address on Google maps places it in the incorrect area. We saw Dr Wagner ! She listens with her eyes! I have a terrible time trying to communicate because of a brain injury. Dr Wagner and all of the staff are so amazing in their true care for not only the patient ( my sweetest huge dog) as well as my trying desperately to tell them what I have observed of my dog.. my words come out differently than I see in my head. So, this group has been very excellent in communicating. The office was very clean! The front desk has a very sweet lady working the desk and appointments. They do text which is easiest for me to understand which is crucial in my current situation. The front desk lady is named Val! What a total sweetheart! I was late because my dog refused to get into my vehicle. She thought she was going back to the rescue. This is my fault because I was so worried about my dog, she didn't want to go when I was upset. I tried for 45 minutes to get my huge dog into my car and she absolutely refused. I calked Val and she sent me the information to call Pets & Claws NV who promptly drove to my home to grab my 124 pound stubborn dog and wisk her to the vet for me. . I had the option of going with them or driving behind them. I chose to drive behind them because I really wanted the vet to have time with my dog knowing she would need sedation to be examined because she felt so poorly. The staff was not upset with me for being over an hour late, I pray they know I truly tried so hard because arriving late is my worst nightmare. I don't like to keep people waiting especially busy vet clinics. If you have a pet in Las Vegas you will know finding a vet you can trust is close to impossible. I LOVED this vet clinic. I brought my own dog treats because I know what treats motivate my baby better than anyone. . We chose the freeze dried beef liver. The veterinarian had the same treats! The room was so clean. They had a small blanket for my dog to lay down on and brought her a clean water bowl 1/3 ice and a little water over the top which is perfect so the dog drink too much in case they need anesthesia. My dog eagerly drank the water then enjoyed kicking the ice. There was a welcome sign with my most precious babies name on it! I thought, how classy and welcoming. . The techs that I met were extremely kind and supportive. I'm sorry I don't remember their name. My brain wasn't working since I was so stressed from being so late! Like my dog, I was very apprehensive because I wanted help for my girl and since I worked so hard to get there, my brain took a big shite. Great not. Yes I know the dog picks up my anxiety but I've had horrible Dr visits as well as veterinary visits since I came to Las Vegas over 20 years ago. It's worse now since my brain isn't normal functioning like it used to. The technicians talked to me first then the doctor came in. The area where I sat, was long enough for me to kind of lay down since I was exhausted and fearful hoping they could help my dog. My anxiety was at 119%. The Dr took time to hear me , I had kept a food and water diary for my dog for several weeks so I was able to give her exact portions of what at what time. I wanted to make sure my dog could have anesthesia for her exam. She was in a bad way and I hoped for a thorough examination without extra pain for my dog. The doctor explained what she was going to do and took my dog to the work area and allowed me to go home to wait. I was called a couple hours later and the vet left a message that I could pick up my dog as she was coming out of anesthesia . I called to see if the transportation was available but they were busy so I called the vet and they said they could get my dog into my car. Thankfully my dog was loopy but happy to see me. The bill was very close to the estimate so no surprise there. Yes veterinarian bills are not cheap however I was very very pleased with the accuracy of the original estimate. The doctor took time to show me the images of my dog and explained every detail of her exam. Not one vet has ever done this for me. I appreciate the extra time as this is MY child. She showed me everything. Then she explained the medication needed that they had prescribed. My dog was due for her rabies . I really don't want a rabies shot because they have a NEW one that resembles the mRNA shots we all horrible we're forced to take in 2021. I knew I absolutely refused to have the new rabies shot and she had the original version which is the one she gave to my dog. This I appreciate more than most could .
