As I spoke with other vets, they advised that she should have gone to the hospital that day immediately (if I could afford the cost). Astro should not have been sent home with blood in her stomach! How would the Chinese herb help if she could not eat anything? Tell me how that would have helped her? I explained she has not eaten for 2 days so what makes you think she can take that herbal medicine? To help out by sending medical records over to the hospital is not a favor. Either way that had to be done ASAP! Please do not make like you was helping me by sending those over. read more

The entire staff has been the best I've ever encountered and Dr Paulino is god-send. Truly a professional and someone you can feel comfortable with knowing your pet is in excellent care. This is our third visit. First time was last week because we ended up rescuing a cat from the neighborhood who needed ALOT of work. We did not know where to start and very much so within panic mode but the staff made us feel safe, understood, and supportive. Lala was in bad shape and they did a series of tests such as xray, diff panels like toxicology, standard checkup and etc. Not only did they carefully helped us with Lala, they were also so informative and knowledgeable. They also talk and explain in layman's term in the best and simplest terms so it's so much easier to understand exactly what is going on. We came back today for Lala check up again and he got his shots immediately and again, Dr Paulino was super friendly and informative. I cannot express how thankful I am as well for them to be able to get Lala in immediately last week as we called in as an emergency to see if they could even squeeze us in and they did. Everything has been wonderful all around and so this past Saturday we also ended up bringing our other cat Blueberry for shot updates and Dr Paulino again was amazing! Patient, gentle and very friendly! I love that he asks us questions and wraps up at the end to ask again if we had any further questions or concerns. Normally other vets we've encountered just check, barely talk, and then leave never to be seen again... this is not the case here. Hands-on team and fear free certified + have excellent bedside manners with you and your pets. Will definitely continue to go here and move all my pets to have this as their primary vet as they offer ample services and guaranteed they will care for your pet who most of us see as part of our family as members and will have peace of mind they are in good hands. I am so happy that I chose this clinic for my Luna some time ago. Thank God nothing serious happened with my dog before, but recently we faced a very difficult situation: my baby developed bladder stones and needed surgery. We had our first visit at Cactus Pet Hospital for our two kittens and were very pleased! I had high expectations based on feedback on Facebook and other Yelp reviews and they were 100% accurate. We take our frenchies here since they opened a few years ago. All the staff are so friendly and have compassion in the office and also when you talk to them over the phone. They treat my dogs like family and this is why they are the best! Unfortunately, yesterday my senior chihuahua passed away. I spent time over the phone inquiring about the impending death of my dog. Staff was friendly and explained everything, even if our senior dog wasn't a patient of theirs. We set the appt time for 5pm to put down our dog. We started to see the final moments of our dog and I called again and asked if they had any last minute opening due to a cancellation and they said yes at 230pm. So as we were driving there my dog took his final breath and as we rushed inside, the staff took our dog, put us in a room and after confirmation of our dog passing, they brought him back to us for our final goodbye. They gave us time to grieve, had us choose our urn, and was so attentive. And their prices for euthanasia were reasonable as compared to others we called. Secondly, all the staff I've come in contact with so far have been so nice and friendly. As of right now I just get my pups nails trimmed (haven't needed to go for more at the moment *knock on wood*) and they work with you and your pet. My dalmy is just a big baby so he whines but my older man gets grumpy and needs a muzzle. When they were having trouble getting him to go back, I suggested a room because he went in there easier when I had to put the muzzle on. Then we found out treats help him be less grumpy during the interaction lol but they were so nice to them both and encouraging especially to my grumpy boy. We have two dogs, one a young rescue, and one senior and both of my dogs love the staff. It's calming to know that even the dogs feel comfortable here. At his previous vet, I would have to be the one to call them for updates, wouldn't get responses to emails, and I hardly ever spoke to the vet directly--only the vet tech or words passed down. Here, I leave genuinely so happy, I can never get used to their kindness. Not only did Dr. Paulino do his best to answer all of my hefty questions regarding my dog's health and well-being, but they are also super responsive and communicative. They text updates regarding my dog's appointments and how he is doing at the vet. They also check up on him via text, so it is nice to know that the text messaging system is both automated AND actual people will respond in a timely manner. We went to Cactus Pet Hospital first time on the 28th. Unfortunately it was a sad visit. Our 20 plus year old cat needed to be euthanized and they allowed us to bring Tuna in because he was in such pain. It was his time. We found this veterinarian clinic to be so welcoming as soon as we walked in. I don't remember the receptionist but she was so kind. And the veterinarian was amazing and kind. Even as they were closing he told us to take as much time as we needed and we did. Not a great day but this veterinarian made it as pleasant as possible. I took my 11 year old cat here to see Dr Edenloff for slow, but steady, weight loss. Despite explaining that my cat had no clinical signs of diabetes, Dr Edenloff pronounced her diabetic and prescribed insulin. She discouraged me from testing my cat's blood sugar at home and wanted me to blindly give her insulin. I DID test my cat at home, thank God, because she is NOT diabetic. If I had followed the instructions of Dr Edenloff, I would have killed my cat. Dr Edenloff failed to consider (even after I questioned it) that a cat under stress can have a very high glucose and glucose in the urine. The next step, before insulin, SHOULD have been a fructosamine test. This was only mentioned AFTER I questioned the diagnosis. I had the bloodwork repeated at another clinic and the fructisamine test was normal. Dr. Edenloff is careless in her diagnosis and allows her ego to overrule common sense. If you love your pet, avoid this clinic like the plague read more
