I received a reply from Mike within 10 minutes. After a back and forth on a Friday, sending him all my pool pump information, Mike quoted me on a new motor. By the Saturday, George was at my home installing the new motor. George was very nice, and appeared very knowledgeable. He was done in 2 hours, and left the area clean. The new motor is energy efficient, and to tell you the truth, getting the upgrade/replacement has made a difference. I haven't seen my pump run this well in years. After looking at it, he explained that it would likely require replacing a pipe and gasket and gave me a very reasonable quote. When he returned on Friday with the necessary supplies, he opened everything up and realized the pipe didn't actually need to be replaced. Instead of doing unnecessary work, he fixed the leak with a much simpler repair. Even better, he charged me significantly less than the original quote because the repair turned out to be easier than expected. It's rare to find someone as honest and professional as Wyatt. He could have easily gone ahead with the original repair, but instead he did only what was needed and passed the savings on to me. After talking through the situation, I decided to have him come out to assess the issue in person. Evin quickly identified that the water loss might be coming from small, hard-to-see cracks in the spa tile. He suggested shutting off the spillway to let the wall dry completely. After monitoring the water levels for a week, his diagnosis was spot on. The leak stopped entirely. He also noticed our pool vacuum was hooked up through the skimmer and explained why that setup wasn't ideal. He pointed out an alternative outlet and even caught a rubber stopper that could've caused serious plumbing damage. He removed it on the spot, not an easy task, but he got it done. Once we confirmed the leak source, we moved forward with replacing the spa tile. Evin mailed us tile samples to choose from and also facilitated an appointment at the warehouse so we could see more options. During the work, Evin found damage behind the tiles, so we decided to repair the top four inches, remove the brick trim, and finish the top in matching tile.
