When I had a water leak in my house, my plumber suggested Superior Restoration to help after the leak was fixed. Almost immediately, I spoke with Daniel Castaneda, Mitigation Supervisor, who was able test my house for moisture, and then guide me through the mitigation process ahead of me. I have an older home, and Daniel was able to quickly set up testing for asbestos and then (unfortunately) asbestos abatement. Though the situation was stressful for me and my family, Daniel was reassuring, easy to reach and responsive to texting. I always felt that I was being well taken care of. After asbestos abatement, Brian Block, Project Director, inspected my home to let me know what to expect during the restoration process. He was also reassuring and friendly! He had great repair ideas and even knew my insurance adjuster and was able to quickly work with insurance to prepare a fair estimate. So thankful for that! Then came Dave Strandt, Project Manager, who was at my house to oversee the actual restoration work. Dave also had great ideas and helped me to get the work started and completed almost immediately. The start of the project went well with the water damage cleanup, however, with the actual work with the work of restoring the home the PM kept telling us what was not in the contract and we had verbal confrontation to get the work completed in an acceptable manner. Thereafter, I also used them for the restoration work. I was impressed that it was completed within a 3-week period. Brian Block worked well with me in reaching a mutually acceptable agreement on charges and was diligent in working with my insurance company regarding any additional work/charges that they missed. All of the subcontractors they sent did an excellent job (Herman, Gerardo, Memo, etc.), they were focused on getting the work done and did it well. Last but not, my project Manager, Dave Strandt talked me through the timeline of work and went above and beyond to find my original flooring as this was initially a concern. He was always prompt in responding to my phone calls/texts and listened when I had concerns and followed up. Horrible service they tore my mom's house up and they put up poles and fans and plastic in the house for water damage, and one of the poles fell on my 76 year old mother and she told superior restoration's management, and the office manager asked my mother if a fan flew up and hit her in the head!!! The only thing Superior about them is their name. Did not clean up completely, left carpet tack strips exposed, had to put up with noise and fans and dehumidifier for 4 days. We were recent customers due to a water damage problem and based on our experience, they truly are aptly named for what their service provides--which is superior to say the least. The workers are efficient, friendly, hard-working and not to mention very accommodating. I called on Saturday and was assured someone would be at my house today, Tuesday between 9-11. So I made sure I was home. No one showed. I called superior at 1120 and was told I could not be found with my name address or anything. They were unable to reach the on call guy to figure out what happened. Was told they would "investigate". Superior Restoration will always be my first call if there's another flood/leak at my house!!! On Friday afternoon, I called my insurance company when I discovered water coming from my wall in the hallway. They claims adjustor informed me that "someone" would call me back by 5 PM and that they could not give me direction or advice on what to do. By 6 PM, I never received a call and the leak was getting worse! I called Superior Restoration and within 30 minutes one of their specialists (Ed Cardinal) was at my door. Within 45 minutes, Ed had technicians at my house who stopped and repaired the leak. Ed took the time to explain to me the process of filing a claim with my insurance company, arranging the complete repair of the damage, and assuring me that a representative from Superior Restoration would be at the house when the insurance company's adjustor comes by to evaluate/estimate the repair. Approx. one week later, my insurance company's adjustor arrived at my house and just like Ed said a representative from Superior Restoration (Jarrett) was there too. Jarrett assured me that he would deal with the adjustor and that everything would ok. Jarrett and the adjustor began evaluating the amount of damage and costs involve to complete the repairs. Although I'm not an expert on home repairs, I sat back and listened to the adjustor attempting to cut corners and suggest poor quality materials for the repair. To my amazement this did not last long! Jarrett made it obvious to the adjustor his extensive knowledge regarding the type of repair and quality of materials needed to repair/replace the damaged areas. He additionally had the adjustor cover the cost to have my personal items removed from my house and later returned so the repairs could be completed. Superior Restoration began repairing my house immediately. They repairs were completed and my personal items were put back in my house before my insurance company could issue a check. I even received a follow-up call from Superior Restoration a week later to make sure I was happy with their service and the quality of the repairs. I can't thank the employees of Superior Restoration enough!!! From the first call to last, they were awesome. God forbid something like this ever happens again but if it does, my first call will be to Superior Restoration not my insurance company. Just completed extensive work including tear out and rebuild cabinets, bottom two feet of drywall, laminate floor, etc, and I am so pleased. Every person that laid hands on this job was an expert, work done is simply excellent. Everyone left the work area immaculately clean, everyone was extremely courteous and patient.
