My brother-on-law moved 3 trailers full of stuff, going back and forth from Hugo to Blaine before they even got to my house the first time, we all left at the same time. I think they were intentionally slow so they could charge us 4x's the amount quoted to me for an entire day (which is only 4 hours for them). They also broke multiple items, even with their "insurance" I was not reimbursed for anything. I also had to have them correct the contract 5 times before they actually got it correct. This company is horrible, if I could give them negative stars I would. This company is so crooked they are a circle! Response: your crew did not take an unpaid lunch break, it was included in the time they added to my bill at the end. They also very much pressure me to tip them because, as they put it, "This company does not pay us very well." Not only was I quoted roughly $1500, and it ended up costing me almost $5K for the service, I ended up tipping them because they know where I live and I didn't want anything to happen to my wife, and your crew took more breaks than they actually worked. Regardless of what you say, your company is crooked, incompetent, and needs to be put out of business. My next report is to the BBB!

Before loading began, the crew was provided with more than 20 moving straps and over 30 moving blankets. They were also given clear instructions not to load our carbon fiber bicycles into the truck because those bikes were intended to be transported separately in a trailer. The crew ignored those instructions. When we arrived at our destination and opened the truck, it looked like a disaster scene. One bicycle handlebar had been driven into a television box, puncturing it. One bike's carbon fiber frame was cracked across the top tube. Another had all the protective coating on the front fork scrapped down to bare metal. Our dining room table arrived with a massive gouge in the edge. Bed head and foot boards are rubbed and scratched so they all need to be refinished. Multiple items showed signs of being poorly secured and improperly loaded. Nothing was protected by the 30 moving blankets or 20 ratchet straps!! What makes the situation even more frustrating is that there was no shortage of proper equipment. We purchased and provided 20 ratchet straps and 30 moving blankets specifically to protect our belongings. Several times throughout the move I reminded them of the straps and the moving blankets. One employee said to me "we haven't had to use the straps yet," but they were still in boxes. I was sure they would use straps on the furniture! Yet the crew chose not to use appropriate securing methods. Instead of using one of the many supplied ratchet straps, they secured a bed frame headboard to the side of the truck using an elastic lacrosse rebound training tool. After documenting the damage with photos and video, we contacted the company expecting them to stand behind the work performed by their employees. Instead, management acknowledged that blankets and straps had been available but denied responsibility, citing the fact that the service was classified as "labor only" and referencing a liability waiver. Apparently, according to College HUNKS, "labor only" means their employees can ignore explicit instructions, disregard readily available moving equipment, use improvised tie-down methods, damage customer property, and then the company assumes no responsibility for the outcome. We hired professionals because we expected professional loading practices. What we received was damaged property, a cracked bicycle frame, ruined furniture, and a company more interested in finding contractual excuses than taking accountability for the actions of its crew. I would strongly recommend that anyone considering this company think very carefully before trusting them with valuable possessions.

They were also very flexible in allowing me to work around them to grab some smaller things and help out in general, to keep time/costs down. they also did a great job of packing everything into one truckload, which was not an easy task and definitely took some expertise. You could say that all that really matters is getting your stuff from one place to another in one piece, but moving can be a stressful scenario and the 'experience' of the moving company can really add or remove stress. These guys definitely provided a great experience. one last item is that they were very flexible on the boxes (which were free to use) They brought over a bunch of wardrobe boxes for us to use and we kept them for several weeks while we slowly got unpacked. they just said call us when you're done and we'll swing by to pick them up.

The guys were great and they meticulously wrapped and padded all of our things. Everything fit in one truck load. The problem was in the amount of time it took for this move. The move to our new place was literally 5 minutes down the freeway. What should have been an easy move turned into a 12 HOUR move. Of course, we paid by the hour. As the day wore on and on and on, the frustration became unbelievable. The movers were kind and courteous but we have no idea what took so long. We have used many movers in the past with even more furniture and it never came close to 12 HOURS. We did a cross-country move two years ago with a Ryder truck packed by friends who are not movers and the packing was done in 3 hours. Unpacking done upon arrival by our kids - in less than 3 hours. My husband discussed his frustration with the lead mover. He said he gave us the best deal he could and my husband informed him we had no money left to give them a tip. Obviously, we didn't budget for 12 HOURS. Think long and hard before you book a mover. Get an approximate time frame or put a limit on how much time you are willing to pay. It's the next day and we are still reeling.
