Our first experience in 2021 was a local move where the team was professional, punctual, and handled our belongings and new home with exceptional care. Based on that success, we recently engaged them for an out-of-state move from Minnesota. Riku, the owner, provided a very competitive quote and went above and beyond to help us save on costs. Compared to other moving companies we have used in the past for out of state move, The Move Crew stands out for their efficiency, professionalism, price, and dedicated service. By assigning a dedicated truck per customer, they ensured a faster delivery without unnecessary stops at other customer. Furthermore, their packing system is excellent; they protected our furniture thoroughly while minimizing the need for disassembly, which saved significant time during loading and unloading. We were also impressed by their organized labeling system where they marked each furniture and where it was originally from. So, during unloading, they could quickly identify each furniture and where it might go In the new house. I want to specifically commend Riku and Jesse for their hard work and for being extremely cautious with our new property. They managed the unloading process quickly and professionally. Thank you to the entire team for the outstanding service. I recommend others to use the company when moving locally or out of state.

My brother-on-law moved 3 trailers full of stuff, going back and forth from Hugo to Blaine before they even got to my house the first time, we all left at the same time. I think they were intentionally slow so they could charge us 4x's the amount quoted to me for an entire day (which is only 4 hours for them). They also broke multiple items, even with their "insurance" I was not reimbursed for anything. I also had to have them correct the contract 5 times before they actually got it correct. This company is horrible, if I could give them negative stars I would. This company is so crooked they are a circle! Response: your crew did not take an unpaid lunch break, it was included in the time they added to my bill at the end. They also very much pressure me to tip them because, as they put it, "This company does not pay us very well." Not only was I quoted roughly $1500, and it ended up costing me almost $5K for the service, I ended up tipping them because they know where I live and I didn't want anything to happen to my wife, and your crew took more breaks than they actually worked. Regardless of what you say, your company is crooked, incompetent, and needs to be put out of business. My next report is to the BBB!

They were also very flexible in allowing me to work around them to grab some smaller things and help out in general, to keep time/costs down. they also did a great job of packing everything into one truckload, which was not an easy task and definitely took some expertise. You could say that all that really matters is getting your stuff from one place to another in one piece, but moving can be a stressful scenario and the 'experience' of the moving company can really add or remove stress. These guys definitely provided a great experience. one last item is that they were very flexible on the boxes (which were free to use) They brought over a bunch of wardrobe boxes for us to use and we kept them for several weeks while we slowly got unpacked. they just said call us when you're done and we'll swing by to pick them up.

The guys were great and they meticulously wrapped and padded all of our things. Everything fit in one truck load. The problem was in the amount of time it took for this move. The move to our new place was literally 5 minutes down the freeway. What should have been an easy move turned into a 12 HOUR move. Of course, we paid by the hour. As the day wore on and on and on, the frustration became unbelievable. The movers were kind and courteous but we have no idea what took so long. We have used many movers in the past with even more furniture and it never came close to 12 HOURS. We did a cross-country move two years ago with a Ryder truck packed by friends who are not movers and the packing was done in 3 hours. Unpacking done upon arrival by our kids - in less than 3 hours. My husband discussed his frustration with the lead mover. He said he gave us the best deal he could and my husband informed him we had no money left to give them a tip. Obviously, we didn't budget for 12 HOURS. Think long and hard before you book a mover. Get an approximate time frame or put a limit on how much time you are willing to pay. It's the next day and we are still reeling.
