Out on the town with a good friend before his missionary pilgrimage to Japan. We Yelped Karaoke bars and this place popped up. Fortunately for me (and you) he's a Veteran, so we were able to get in. We couldn't stay long because we were both out passed out normal bedtimes, but the crowd here was so friendly! The bartender and her husband (the KJ) were some of the nicest folks I'd ever encountered. They even told me I was welcome to come back anytime, with or without my friend! Everyone was cheering for everyone. This was the least toxic karaoke environment I've ever seen. Anyone out there who does karaoke knows what I mean. They offered us an extremely reasonably-priced meal, I believe it was meatloaf night? We declined. My friend ordered cheetos and red wine, while I had a soda water. I belted out on 4-Non Blondes "What's Up" and we went on our way. I hope I get the opportunity to go back, as it isn't very near my normal routine. But, I can definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a kind hearted crowed, a cool bartender, and a boss KJ. read more

Came here to support local veterans. Was surprised to see an empty bar. Drinks were cheap, $0.50 pool games, and amazing men and women who served in combat locations all around the world. They also have tacos on Monday, burgers on Thursday, and a dinner special on Fridays. Good people, good food, and good drinks, what more could you ask for. Full disclosure: I am not a veteran of any foreign war. There are members of my family who have served overseas, and I do advocate on behalf of all veterans. This post has a hall that is available for rental, and they are open to the public for certain events. I have enjoyed seeing live bands perform here as well as sung at their karaoke night. For the most part This place is cool! Bartenders are awesome ! Drink prices are amazing! The veterans are very cool they play pool like pro's and have eachothers backs. The karaoke on Friday nights is cool for the most part unless the KJ Clarissa is drunk or in a bad mood. She tends to choose her favorites more often than not. Occasionally there are a few bad eggs causing unnecessary drama but they don't last too long ... Ghetto is not tolerated in this place . I'd give it a 5 but karaoke needs an upgrade and RiffRaff needs to be filtered out. Whether you're starting drama or instigating it you're a part of the problem ....grownups don't do that. The place is supposed to be 21 and over but sometimes there be women in there acting 12 years old. Have respect for these great heroes at the VFW they've survived wars and fought for this country ... They don't need ghetto trash coming in here and causing childish drama. read more

This place is awesome. Local VFW bar in a great community. You have to be a veteran to be a member, but if you come in an act like a respectful guess, one of the veterans will sponsor you for the night and you can enjoy drinks at a great price. Food is also available on some nights. There is also karaoke on Fridays and Saturdays. They have a pool table and digital jukebox. Love it. read more

Great little bar with karaoke on some nights and a pool table. A service member will need to "sponsor" you if you haven't served but you won't have a problem with that if you walk in alone. Very friendly staff and it's a great little dive bar with reasonable prices. I've been there a few times and intend to continue going back for the occasional drink and maybe even a song or two. read more
