Knallhart Kennels & Training Academy - Chelsey making sure I knew whoopi would be great around kids of all sizes by showing me how great whoopi is with her kids!

In that initial phone call Chelsey gave me SO much useful information, was reassuring and more importantly, validating my feelings in all of the experiences I had. Chelsey happened to have a black german shepherd that she just found out she was not going to be able to breed because of missing molars (which is NOT the german shepherd standard but we LOVE an ethical breeder). She sent me pics and the rest is history. Whoopi and I bonded for a couple months before her service dog boarding (which I called college). During our bonding time, chelsey was extremely helpful and reassuring. I was able to reach out and schedule time to meet to go over issues I was having. The homework idea is genius, I cannot believe how wrong I was about so many training methods and I felt so ready. While whoopi was boarded for service animal school I re-did the homework all over again just so I would be ready. I'm so glad I did, it made the transition to bringing her back home and into my job so easy. Whoopi has now graduated college and is so pumped to make so many new friends. I'm so thankful for all of the time, love, and energy Chelsey (and her family) have made into giving me the best thing that has ever happened to me.

Chelsey is amazing!! Our dog was having aggression issues and had bit two of our friends. Our dog did the 8-week training program at Knallhart and came home calm and well-behaved and not anxious. He is no longer reactive on the leash and can stay in place when someone rings the doorbell and comes inside to visit. Such a game changer!! Knallhart is saving the lives of dogs and we are so thankful!! Highly recommend!!

When notifying us of her death he said he took her to the vet to get a autopsy because he too was curious under the circumstances of her death. Considering he told us she died AFTER the vet was closed we had no way to visit her. Or even confirm she was there. He was also texting us saying the vet said it was a heart issue. Bright and early the next day I went to the vet expecting to see my dog. Instead they informed me that he JUST dropped her corpse off THAT DAY so they still needed to clean the blood and pee off her. not only did he withhold her death from us until after the vet was closed he lied about where she was and what the vet said. After waiting for them to bathe my dead dog. I then laid with her while she was wet her eyes dried like raisins and blood on her paws mouth and nose. Not only did she look like a shell of the former dog I cherished she had also lost 10 pounds. After waiting 3 hours with the stench of 24+ hour dead dog that had been kept in the summer heat. He finally showed up to have a few words which I have all recorded. The man was so nonchalant it disgusted me to my core. Don't take your dog here. Don't support his business I've left reviews on Google and he jumps through hoops to get them taken down.

She died in his care and he did not notify us for 13 hours stating "I was busy." She was sent to the state hospital for advance necropsy and she was found without food in her body, and severely underweight. They also found a drug in her liver. She is dead and I'm disgusted. He held her for another 12 hours before he gave her to the vet making her serology testing unavailable. he is an ex cop. I have a hard time picturing her last week and then her body decomposing for 24hours. When we got back to town I visited the facility with fans running and the stench emanating from the building. I lose sleep still.
