Instead? Total professionals. Check-in was smoother than a cat sliding off a countertop. The exam was quick, painless (for everyone involved), and they even managed to draw blood without summoning a demon. Impressive. And the mani/pedi? Let's just say the world is a safer place now that her murder claws have been filed down. She strutted out like she just left a feline day spa, not a horror movie set. Dr. Kaser, however, will only do exactly what he wants, and he let it be known that he "does not want to be a third wheel in the care of Harry", my 13 yo Pomeranian. I chose this practice blindly since I was moving almost next door to them, up from Worthington OH to Delaware OH. One of my first questions to him was to ascertain if he was willing to be our primary vet when Harry's care came under a cardiologist at OSU. All cardiologists will diagnose and determine the medicines necessary, blood tests, etc. that are to be turned over to the primary vet for carrying out the orders from the cardiologist. This is common practice. Dr. Kaser is not interested in being a part of a team effort to keep my dog alive and has said he does not want to be a part of anything to harm my dog. Well, withholding critical tests and refusing to prescribe per the cardiologists requests, in my opinion, is harming my dog as long as I choose to stay, which I will no longer darken his door. Harry, a 13 yo Pomeranian, has been to OSU Cardiology/ER twice since July and COVE ER 5 times and each time came back with progressive heart issues that require targeted medication and blood work. Now I am stuck here in mid winter with no place to go since the places I've called are not taking new patients right now. So COVE generously will take Harry in for his required blood work to determine if he is taking the medicine at a safe level, and when weather breaks I will have to drive almost 20 miles to his old vet in Worthington - The Vet Clinic - who have stepped up for Harry's care on numerous occasions when Dr. Taser would not intervene on Harry's behalf. If you do not ever think you will require a specialist for your beloved pet, then this would be the place to go - as I said, Conner and Becky are superb techs and Harry loves them. But if you someday think you will require a Team, go elsewhere, as there is no "I" in TEAM.

Our dog has a back injury and even though we were 3rd in line, we were last to be put in a room and then told it would be another 2-4hrs. Feral cats were taken back to be seen before us, some folks got to walk in and got taken straight to the back without stopping by the desk. Evidently we didn't know the right people to be taken care of. I've never been treated so terrible by anyone in any setting before like that. They don't deserve to be in business and especially don't deserve to care for pets. No one should go to this business if you love your pet. This is a terrible group of people masquerading as a caring animal clinic.
