I lost my 2 remaining dogs over past year, when they actually had true veterinarians. Just rescued my new "child". OMG, ears needed cleaning!!! Paid $100 4 that! Tried to push meds on me, that I knew were not needed. Two of my adult children are practicing vets in Calif. I have 35yrs of rescue. Dr. Johnson had less medical knowledge than my dog! In their $25 first visit promo, supposed to do a "basic exam" ( u know like listen 2heart with a stethoscope and general visual. She did nothing except take ginger in back and supposedly clean ears). Have no idea if even did that! (On positive note,Her vet tech was nice .!) To add insult to injury, the obese woman at front desk(not Debra,) looked up my record. Last time I was there was to euthaniZe my weewilson....actually 2pick up his ashes. I paid every cent Owed!!!! She was trying to see if there was anyway to find additional charges 2tack on. There were none! I was so angry, I said" don't even think Abt it .. " This place is a true disgrace!". Don't know who current owner is, but this is just so substandard. Really miss Dr. Cerjan who was experienced, honest and kind. Dr. Craine also qualified. If he is still owner, he needs to either get veterinarians with higher standards or close it down! Just grateful, I didn't have a true medical event . Get a real veterinarian or shut ur doors! Our animals deserve better

This is my puppy's first bath and trim (he was about 5 months old). Him being a shih Tzu- I intend to keep his fur long as I do not like the "teddy bear short cut look". Scheduling: Appt scheduling was very simple. Staff was very nice. Appearance: Upon arriving, It can be a little confusing as the sign is not lit up. It's a little past the opening where the Home Store is so be aware to keep going! Inside, it smelled like a old dogs inn. Just like a dog. Didn't feel the clean spa- like feeling I thought I would get. Staff: The staff were not masked, but still nice. I just want to say Lindsay was sooo sweet! The sweetest. Explained things in good detail and really nice. Experience: I asked them to let me know if there were any issues as he is a very scary pup. She told me she would try to save some of his fur as there was a mention it was matted pretty bad. He was shaved balled. My mom picked him up as I was at another appt and she said they kept apologizing and saying "he's alright". He wound up having really bad diarrhea for a few days and when I took him to the vet, they mentioned it was bacteria. It could have came from anywhere but he's not around any other dogs, and thought it was funny he got it right after coming home. I'm thinking because the place was not as clean as I'd hope. They were also a little pricey. The rate was higher than my neighbors who has a Yorkie. In addition, with the extra vet bill, this grooming costs me over $140 so I will mostlikely be searching for a new one. Just as a note, He smelled really good and appeared to be okay but I will not likely take him back.

I took my Great Pyrenees, KODI here with symptoms of blood in his stool, problems defecating,…read moreexcessive drinking etc. after two separate visits with two of their veterinarians, they blamed his diet and weight. They did their normal blood test, urine test, etc. but neither of the doctors took the time, or even the interest, to consider a palpable exam. Possibly because he is an extra large dog, and they were "afraid" of him. I finally found a good vet that gave a dam, snd five minutes into our first visit she found the problem that has been haunting us for over a year by doing a digital exam of his anus where she found a large polyp. We scheduled surgery to remove it, but she found that the polyp/tumor is three inches long. She said it needed major surgery to remove it, snd that upon further review, it appears to be cancer. Now my dog is scheduled to have extensive surgery at Blue Pearl to remove the growth, something that quite possibly could have been avoided if veterinarians took the time, and had Kodi's health as a priority instead of worrying about getting their smock dirty. What has happened to good, knowledgeable professional veterinarians? Currently most of them just look at your wallet first. All they are good for is giving injections, prescription pills or expensive prescription food, all of which is also marked up to fatten the bill. Finally, I have found a doctor that cares more about the pets than her retirement plan.

Both of my cats have been very sick, after each dental with Dr. Pope, their breath still smelled rancid and that should have been my first clue. If you take your pets to this clinic to save money, don't. It will cost you thousands of dollars later in proper vet care. I have reported this practice and Dr. Pope to the DVM association and hope he loses his right to care for any more animals. My pets are like family and apparently, they do not value my family. It took 15 minutes, as told to me by a Value Vet employee, to do the dental cleanings for $450 per pet. If you want to save money , find a better veterinarian. This practice lacks the care and compassion required to properly care for anyone's animal. Also I would like to add, Jackson had 7 teeth and 5 roots pulled. Miley is having 5 teeth pulled. This kind of dental decay, puss, dental disease and rotting teeth does not happen over the course of a year. Jackson's front jaw bone is loose due to the dental decay so tell me again how you did your jobs a year ago? We have all of the dental records transferred from your practice to my new, competent Veterinarian practice and she even stated that this kind of puss, decay and dental disease was in existence a year ago and Dr. Pope was just too lazy to pull the teeth since it is more complex to pull a cat's teeth. It requires time and patience, neither of which can be performed in 15 minutes. If you stand behind Dr. Terald Lee Pope, then you care just about as much about the well-being of animals as Dr. Pope does. These are our babies, we expect the best care to the best of your ability. He took an oath to do no harm or not leave them in a state of harm that would put them in so much pain later that they cannot even eat their own food. I am certainly not the first nor will be the last that complains about this Veterinarian. The fact that you refuse to reimburse me shows, once again, you do not care about the well-being of my animals or my financial concerns. I spent $900 for both cats at your practice, $1400 on Jackson at the new Vet and I am spending another $1674 on Miley next month when they can fit her in. Poor baby is in so much pain that I took money out of my 401K to care for her. Tell me how this is not Dr. Terald Lee Pope's fault and Value Vet for employing his services?

Within 2 days, we were back at the clinic because it filled right back up. The Veterinarian never came in to speak with my wife. The vet tech proceeded to tell my wife that the next step would be to sedate the cat and told my wife that they would be placing tubes and stitches in his ear. Because the cat ate earlier, we were told we would have to bring him back another day. We brought him back on Saturday, and they took him from us and told us he would be ready for pick-up later in the day. When we picked him up, he was bandaged and had a cone around his neck. Within a day or two, he had the bandage off his ear and there were no drain tubes or stitches. We called the clinic, and they stated that he was sedated, ear lanced, and steroid injected and this was the treatment plan my wife signed off on. 1) When the vet tech stated they would be putting him under anesthesia, my wife asked if they were putting drain tubes and stitches and the vet tech said yes. 2) We were told that my wife signed off on his treatment plan and that she was not told about tubing and stitched and yet we were sent a copy of the treatment plan, NO signatures, NO initials..Nothing. 3) First time we took him, no anesthesia, nothing..they drained the fluid in his ear with needle. Second time he went in because the ear filled back up, they told us that the sedated him because the had to lance the ear, and yet the treatment plan they sent that the claimed my wife signed off on states that they again drained with a needle. Why the sedation again? they did not have to sedate the first time when they drained with a needle.

While on the phone the staff made me feel right at home. M Upon arriving I noticed it's a small facility right off 78. They are super into Covid precautions which I love! Signs everywhere in parking spots which inform you of procedures to confirm you have arrived for your appointment. They have questionnaires for you to check as far as your covid status. It's pretty cool and gives you that nice family vet feeling. All the staff were friendly and helped our little guy get acquainted with his shots and check up. The Dr was kind and attentive. Definitely 5 star customer service. The only reason for the 4 stars was due to a few things being missed on the visit - I inquired about his itchy skin and didn't receive resolution or recommendation. - the puppy had unusual puppy breath and I don't believe this was checked or recommendation made. - was told he would get his puppy kit and didn't revive that. These are totally minor things and I'm sure will be resolved when he returns for his next batch of vaccines. Again, service was awesome and I'm sure we'll come to get well acquainted with one another.
