I have had many pets over many years and have always encountered compassionate care whenever this inevitable decision had to be made. But this is the first time with Winder Animal Hospital and, somehow, they surpassed even the best experience I've ever had on an awful day. Compassion, warmth, and kindness were on the faces and in the behavior of every person there. I was given all the time and privacy I needed to say goodbye. They placed him in a beautiful box for me to take him home in to bury, gave me some of his fur, pawprints, and prints of his ears, nose, and mouth. I even got some very loving hugs, which I so desperately needed as I was alone. I know my cat was treated with the utmost respect and caring, both before and after. I will never go anywhere else. I can't thank the staff there, every single one, enough.

When the results came back, turns out my cat is 100% healthy. It cost over 800.00 to find out my cat is healthy. When I asked to speak to a doctor about the bill, they started making excuses why a doctor couldn't speak with me. They said they would have one call me Monday. Never happened. ( my husband had lost his job and I am on disability so we asked if we could pay for the end of life care on friday when my check was to be direct deposited. Mind you that this was on a wednesday. So they wouldve only had to wait 2.5 days to get paid. The staff told my husband to" call back when we were able to pay!" ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! Call back in 3 days and let my dog suffer in pain. Nice to know that your clinic and staff care more about monies than making sure an animal is not suffering!! We will never bring an animal to thos clinic again. We have since found a clinic that cares about the animals and doeant want them to suffer!!
