We reserved a court for two hours for our Teenage twins and some adult friends to celebrate the Twins Birthday. The facility is Large, well outfitted , fairly clean but sports a curious lack of shade or awnings or umbrellas outside. We found Check in and it was fine and they dropped us off on our court . We were supposed to get the shaded table in front of our court but no one told us it was ours and a rather aggressive family was occupying our shady set up. Service is nonexistent, they are nice but thin in ranks and disorganized and overwhelmed. We finally figured it out and got someone to move the aggressive family. They had words for us. I explained we were first timers and didn't know and even offered to share the shade best we could, but they were mad. Not our fault to be put in this difficult situation. After 20 minutes someone came by for our order we put in for appetizers , drinks and food. We were told we would need to order part of it from other staff because they only served drinks, and appetizers. Let me wrap this up by saying the drinks finally came after 30 minutes and we were never offered more until an hour later. We grabbed a waitress as asked about our food. She said," oh we are two hours behind." What? The food finally came at the 1 hour 45 minute mark with the (cold) appetizers following in a few minutes later. Parched we ran and got our own water but the jug went empty and they were also out of cups. Time was running out now. We ate our cold appetizers and tried to find someone to close the bill out. Guess what ? We waited and They never came! We turned our equipment in and now turn our backs on this big fancy corporate mess! I'm not going to add our pictures as I don't want any innocent family with kids to try this place. It needs a whole management redo, If we want to play pickle ball we will seek something else.

However, I am knocking a star for their terrible online ticketing website. It appears they limit non-resident passes to twenty a day, which makes getting put into a que and then taken to another page, which was finicky, to pay with credit card quite annoying and also nervemaking, as I worried we had driven out for nothing as the number of tickets left went down... Anyway, I was impressed overall. Not sure I'll be back out before it closes for the season (mid-August, which seems early), but I was happy to invited once!

In winter, a park hill provides snow sledding. A serene spot in the park is set aside for the Angel of Hope statue, a memorial to all parents who have experienced the death of a child. Each December 6 an evening candlelight memorial service is held here.

There are shaded overwatch towers for parents to watch their kids in any part of the park, there is a splash park and multiple playground areas dependent on your child's size. We stayed for over two hours and the kids did not want to leave. Our kids ages range from 10-4 and everyone had a good time. My mother in law walked the trail several times. The other parents/kids were very friendly too, great park, great atmosphere. The only downside, which isn't even bad, it's expected, is that the bathrooms were not that clean, but it was manageable for what was needed for the kiddos to pee and go back to playing.
