Really enjoyed my meal. I got the half chicken with a side of beans. The half chicken was about 12 dollars itself, side of beans about 3 dollars. It comes in its own to go container and is warmed up. There are also other sides such as rice, mashed potatoes and potato salad. There is a small salsa bar to load up on salsa, pickled onions and lemons. Drinks come to also about 3 dollars. The half chicken also comes with 6 warmed up soft corn tortillas. Total i paid about 21 dollars for the meal. But it was really good. The taste of the chicken was very good. Salty but still flavorful and just the right amount of charred from grilling. Paired with the salsa and beans and tortilla it hit the spot. The restaurant itself has a few tables. I could imagine this place filling up their tables quick on the weekends. It looked very clean. The cashier lady was very nice. Overall, I would come back. Sure its a bit pricey but thats anything nowadays. This place is so much better than el pollo loco which is the same concept but the chicken is immensely better, the sides much more flavorful and at about the same price. The mashed potatoes were hot, creamy, and tasted really good. The macaroni was another hit as it was really simple but very good. The grilled jalapenos were spicy and the pickled onions went well with the chicken. We ate about 9 pieces of the chicken and had plenty to take home. Had late lunch early dinner with my S.O. She picked this place, we wanted to try their chicken. We ordered a half chicken with small beans and small macaroni salad and large rice. The order comes with pepper, pickled onions, salsa, lemon and corn tortillas. We didn't know if it was going to be enough but I felt it was perfect for 2 people. The flavoring on the chicken was really good, I was eating the chicken off the bone instead of making tacos with it lol. They gave us about 10-15 corn tortillas, they were very good and all the food tasted very light, not greasy and heavy. We really liked the beans, but weren't huge fans of the macaroni salad (was a bit too salty), but we took it home and I will probably eat it all yet tonight. Before we left we bought 2 desserts, I can't wait to try those when you get off work! I'd come here again, the chicken was really good, we will probably get the pieces next time. It's reasonably priced and the meals can feed a decent amount of people. I am a fan of this place and the service was top notch. I usually order the chicken, macaroni salad and beans - the macaroni salad is Mexican style which means it's going to be salty and not sweet like the grocery store kind.
