We arrived around 6:00 PM and joined the line to enter. As we got in, our tickets were scanned by fever staff. The usher brought us to our seats in Zone C. Seating is assigned on a first come first served basis in each zone. Our seats were good and had good visibility of the stage. The stage and the auditorium was filled with electric candles that had a warm and flickering glow. About 6:30 PM, the concert opened with Coldplay - Clocks. Then, the Highline String Quartet introduced themselves and talked us through the program. Some of the songs they played were Imagine Dragons - Radioactive, Coldplay - Fix You, Imagine Dragons - Eyes Closed, Imagine Dragons - Bad Liar, Coldplay - The Scientist, and Coldplay - Sky Full of Stars. As we approached the top of the hour, the Highline String Quartet asked the audience to make some noise to see if there were more Coldplay or Imagine Dragons fans. Coldplay won and they played Viva la Vida and did Imagine Dragons - Believer as an encore. The whole concert was a beautiful and magical experience. I was in awe of the music by the Highline String Quartet composed of 3 violinists and 1 cellist. Looking forward to attending more Candlelight concerts! CM Performing Arts Center is located in Lighthouse Commons, a group of businesses along Montauk Highway, and there are plenty of parking spots.

Nice that we have a raceway in our backyard. Easy to from the LIE. Parking on a grassy field. Tickets were available for $40 cash only which moved relatively quick, but advanced tickets can be purchased online. It is all bleacher seating, no stairs. If you want to avoid debris, I recommend sitting closer to mid to upper levels. Maybe a pair of glasses and a cap to shield the eyes. Lots of exhaust and burning rubber. There were several races which were fun to watch which included the figure 8 and the trailer race (there were boats and jet skis on trailers!). The main feature was the school bus demolition derby which was a hoot. They would back into one another and the last one standing wins. There are concession and merchandise stands if you wanted to pick up something. It took quite a while to leave the field because it all converged to the main road. Worth trying at least once if you're a racing fan.

They were a bit on the sweet side, though. One was just about right for me; I think a second would have been a little too much. The only reason I'm stopping at four stars instead of five is the staffing. We visited on a busy Saturday, and while everyone working was friendly and working hard, there simply weren't enough people to keep up with the crowd. That's on management, not the staff, who did a great job under the circumstances. One funny discovery: there was a local seafood truck from Bauman's parked on-site, but we didn't notice it until after we'd already polished off the pretzels and grape leaves. Next time. If you're exploring the North Fork wine trail with friends, Corey Creek is a fun stop and one I'd happily visit again. Just don't be surprised if service is a little slower during peak weekend hours.
