We got invited here for a night of karaoke. Stepping into these kind of establishments (veteran…read moreprivate clubs) smoking is allowed; I didn't mind it too much (I quit almost 2 years ago). The building was old and typical, bar, eating area, pool table, military things hanging on the walls, etc. I ordered beer for the wife, and a soda for me (designated driver) while we waited for friends to arrive and karaoke to begin. It was an older crowd, didn't matter though as most were friendly and inviting. The lady running the karaoke that night (forgot her name) ran a good show as the microphone sounded warm and full, showcasing the vocals more than the music. Overall a good time (I loved the popcorn machine) and we'll probably be back again.

(This is for the Western Arizona Stand Down event that went on today, not the 'normal' activities…read morethat go on at the 'Legion). The Western Arizona Stand Down was a 1 - day event for veterans and family members, connecting them with access to support services for wellness, legal, housing and the like. It started at noon; I arrived around 11:45am thinking I'd be early but I was wrong. I parked on the street because the Legion's parking lot was already full; no worries. After signing in and receiving a raffle ticket, I got a plate of food and watched as the Color Guard and the VIP's each did their thing. After that, I went around to the different services, talking to the reps and picking up the free swag (I love trinkets!). I also had a free flu shot and eye exam done. Free haircuts were avail, but I took a pass. I did win a raffle prize, though! All in all, it was a good time. Lots of information was made available, lots of services were rendered. Worth it.

My husband has given faithfully to this organization for more than 20 years and we can't even get a ride home from the hospital in Yuma to our home in Yuma. Shame on this organization. Forget the beer and nightlife how about helping those members in need of care.

This would have been our second time at the Yuma Elks. We have been in Yuma since December 15th. We…read morestay at the Cocopah RV Golf resort. Leaving back to California on June 1st. The first time we came was about a month ago. It took 25 minutes to order 2 drinks. Not busy, just no bartender and we waited. Fellow Elks at the bar felt bad for me. Embarrassed on how long it took for the bartender to show up. Today we stopped by and a greeter by the name of Faye an elderly woman with long dark hair was incredibly rude. She did not like our card. We are members of the Santa Barbara Elks Lodge 613 in good standing. Our new card has not reached us yet. But it is paid, our dues were paid by April 1st 2026.

Have to be an Elk's member to use this facility. The food and drink is good and reasonable.read more
