About 10 of us ladies plus the instructor (who was a former student) in a mirrored studio. Ages ran the gamut, from just graduated high school through an ex-professional 68-year-old dancer. It was casual, and focused on the basics. You don't have to wear a leotard! But you can if you want. The instructor was warm, friendly, and guided us through the techniques very positively. Alot of indiviual attention. Highly reccomend!

Well, the day of her Triathlon I cheered for my sister and was in amazment of what she had accomplished. I was so proud of her, but never thought I would ever do anything of the sort. A few weeks later, I heard Emily Collins, owner of OnTrack Fitness was offering a Beginner's Half Marathon training. My good friend and co-worker came up to me and asked if I would be interested in doing this program with her and without any hesitation I said Yes. We attended our very first training class and I was terrified knowing what I had just gotten myself into, but Emily and staff explained and made me feel at ease that I was in good hands. I went home and told my sister immediately that I wanted her to do this with me. She agreed and there was no looking back after that. I'm happy to announce that I did complete my first half marathon! It was one of the best days ever for me. OnTrack Fitness has given me so much more in return. I look forward to working out, I love to run, and I've made some great friends in the process. My family and I have been going to the annual San Pasqual Valley Annual Pow Wow for some time now…read more Located on the Quechan Reservation about 10 minutes off the highway at their high school football field, it's something that shouldn't be missed. Not only do they have special dance performances they also have homemade arts and crafts, ceramics, clothing and such...and of course, food. We had both beef and hamburger soup combos with fry bread, both delicious. We stayed from noon until the closing ceremonies since the weather was overcast and cool vice sunny and hot. I definitely recommend going to one of the three days it's held.

The kids were amazing and it really took me back to my own involvement with the orchestra. It's great to see that kind of dedication from them! The soloist was an awesome soprano and delivered a spot on Oh holy night that brought a tear to many eyes including mine. It was a very moving performance. It continued uphill with the orchestra. I am a fan of the bass and it seems they often have the most fun and it shows....thank you. The conductor was kind and most professional as was the master of ceremony. We had a great time and also would mention the very kind and helpful staff that seated us. They are appreciated.

We experienced the Yuma Art Center two times in January when James Garner's Tribute to Johnny Cash…read moreperformed and when the Guns & Roses Tribute Band performed. It was our second time (1st time was in Las Vegas) seeing James Garner perform & they truly do not disappoint. Excellent history lesson accompanied the amazing vocals. The Guns & Roses was also good not great but ok. The Yuma Art Center was a perfect setting for the shows with comfortable seats, great acoustics & bar service. Looking forward to seeing more performances at the Yuma Art Center.

I didn't expect too much from the small theater as far as the light show but they made do. And The Pig Balloon was bounced around by the crowd instead of floating; pretty cool (the band said that was unexpected). Also unexpected was when the power went out during the last song - but that was turned into a joyous al cappella of the song Comfortably Numb! The concert was very good. An opening act by a local artist when the main act, with an intermission and 2 song encore. I got teary eyed during the emotional song "Great Gig in the Sky" from the backup singers heartfelt singing and thinking about recent deaths to include an older family pet. I regret nothing; I knew they would play it! The band's from AZ. And I'll be sure to go again the next time they're in town. Worth it.

The upgrades more than make this a delicious option, however! Big, comfy, loveable chairs centered around the screen, a great concession stand, AND coffee bar more than make up for any negatives. Parking? Limited down the busy Main Street but plentiful behind the theater. A movie-going experience that demands to be checked out. So, what are you waiting for?
