Haven't been there in three years and still remembers my drinking habits. Am I to predictable? Yeah probably. Still that proper dive, you'll see quite a few regulars that just come in to chill and hang out on the weekdays, and the weekends are always a celebration! Also one of the few places where you get everyone from all walks of life, from young and old. You'll always leave with a decent conversation or connection every time I've visited . Common tradition is to sign a dollar bill and staple it to the wall.

They have several TVs so it was nice to watch the games playing. It wasn't too loud. I like the atmosphere. A mix of high top tables, standard tables and bar seating. Tasted strange so I asked for a shot glass with just their cola. Cola was room temp and taste was WAY off. Bartender offered to replace the drink - I thanked her and asked for whiskey rocks instead. Their well whisky was drinkable. Barely. I came to find out later, when I closed out, that their well whisky was $5.75... More than I can pay for an old fashioned in Southtown!! On top of the malfunctioning soda gun and crazy prices, the one young lady behind the counter never once spoke to me other than when I flagged her down. No small talk, no nothing. She spent the entire time I was there speaking with her girlfriends at the other end of the bar. And to be clear, there were maybe 5 patrons total in the entire space - she had plenty of time to engage with her customers. The only saving grace was the quality 90s and early 2000s country the few patrons in the place were playing on the jukebox. Good tunes!

She said "you mean a long island?" NO! A TEXAS TEA. You know the drink this bar is known for? Then, she forgot she was serving me, left 2 shots in front of me while she made the "long islands" in a glass and forgot half way through because she started talking to someone else. I should have just taken those shots and left. But I didn't. We finally got and paid for our drinks, went outside and watched a bunch of drug deals go down. I think I'll take my whole GEN X crew next time to show these GEN Z bartenders that they got some learning to do
