ClairvoyAgency hired this printer to print zip-up hoodies and canvas bags for one of our Ypsi-based…read morenon-profit clients. We provided vector artwork files, as well as a mock-up of the artwork on of the front and back of the Gildan hoodie color that the client wanted to order. We emailed the artwork on October 5th, 2021. Communication with this vendor about screen-printing was challenging. While the bags were done quickly and correctly (digital printing), it took weeks and many emails/texts to figure out where they were in the hoodie screen printing process. It took almost 60 days for the hoodies to be completed. This was partially due to a supply chain issue, which is understandable. Our client's biggest disappointment was that when the hoodies were ready on December 3rd, 2021, they discovered that the bags and hoodies were printed in two different greens. The green in the image on the right is the correct green on the bags. The green in the image on the left is the green used on the hoodies. This is not the brand color for this organization. It took about a month for us to find out about the issue from the client due to holidays and year-end. We contacted the company to ask for a partial refund on the hoodies for the client due to the colors being so different that they needed to re-order them. They said it was too far past the time of ordering, even though it took almost the same amount of time for our order to be fulfilled in the first place. They offered us a solution of printing with them again and them covering the cost of one side on a future order. Considering how long it took for them to be printed incorrectly in the first place, we've decided to go with a different vendor. Forewarning that if you work with this place you will want to provide exact PMS colors preemptively and check your orders immediately.
