This spot is convenient to pop into while I charge my Tesla so husband and I come here semi regularly. I love the neon side inside the front door that says "EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE ALRIGHT." Not only is it fun, but it's a good reminder :) We were here tonight just before happy hour ended and sat at the bar to get a pizza to go and a round of drinks. The bar tender greeted us promptly but told us it would be a minute because they were wildly understaffed this evening. The restaurant was JAMMED tonight! Which isn't surprising because their pizza is great and the staff have always been super friendly. Looking around I noticed they didn't appear to have any servers tonight.... Just the bar tender and maybe a kitchen manager serving food (kitchen looked a little understaffed but we're still cranking out food pretty efficiently). What was really surprising is that the staff seemed cool, calm, and collected despite being super busy. Customers (from what I observed) were polite and understanding; most of the bar patrons being regulars. I did hear the bar tender / pm manager telling tables he'd take care of a drink or provide a discount as a thanks for their patience. He's a great guy and apologized to husband and I for not giving his best tonight due to the craziness. Did get a chance to briefly chat with bar tender and learned there is a friend chicken place opening up next door that is supposed to be out of this world. Looking forward to it!! read more

The Husband saw this place on his way home from work so we decided to give it a try. We were in the middle of the afternoon, at that time when places are on their shift change. We were seated in a booth near the bar and were waited on by Wylie who was also tending bar. Finding out it was our first trip, he took time to explain the menu and answer our questions. We went with the Detroit style Cadillac pizza. I must admit to being skeptical. I usually prefer thin crust. The Cadillac is not traditionally topped. Prosciutto, fig spread and cheese with balsamic glaze. After the very first bite I immediately said it was the best pizza I've ever had. Wylie's service was friendly and prompt. We came in on Father's Day, sat at the bar while we waited for a table. The bartender warned us about the long wait times for food to come out which was nice. 12/31 - 7:30 pm. Normally the service is as good as the food, however tonight was a disaster. It took 22 minutes to get our waters and adult be erages. The waiter pretty much blamed the bartender (who only cared about his friends sitting at the bar stools) to help after we complained. The bread sticks were under cooked as was the pizza. First time. Last time. Our friends met us here. They had recommended this place as they had been here before. The waitress barely spoke English. We ordered separate orders & I do not think she understood. Our friends got their pizza & ate it. We waited 30 more min& the waitress said there was a mix up in the kitchen. We asked where our pizza several times. It was a sh** show. Back & forth with the waitress & manager. We finally got our pizza . The manager gave us the pizza on the house. But then when I paid the bill I STUPIDLY gave a 20 % tip. Then realized it was 20 % on the original bill with the price on the pizza. Pizza wasn't anything but cheesy bread with toppings. Detroit style pizza done right! Fluffy crust with crispy cheese edges with just the right amount of sauce on top. Service is super friendly and courteous so you will want to come back. My Ambassador Bridge was consistent with the description. If I could order all over I would tell them to go lighter on the fresh garlic. The Cinnamon Stocks were very good also . This place hit the spot! The Detroit pizza was amazing!! The service was top notch, best ive had in a long time. They also brought us cheesy bread for our first time in, which was such a nice surprise! My only complaint is they asked us if we would like sauce after we got our pizza, when we got our check they did charged us $2 for each. I'll start saying that I think the pizza would be great if it was hot and my crust had been cooked more, and the beet salad was great. And, I'm sad to leave only 3 stars, but am hoping maybe it'll help the management shore things up a bit. Ordered my food online to be picked up. I was there right on time when it was supposed to be ready. The woman at the bar was clearly busy, but did not even acknowledge me waiting at the Togo counter for about 15 minutes, so I wasn't sure I was in the right place. After waiting 30 minutes for my order (the guy before me said he'd been there an hour, so I was lucky), I sped home starving. I live only about 5 minutes away, but still got home to a room temp pizza with the cheese solid almost like a string cheese. The meatballs were also barely warm and just plopped in balled up tin foil. I'm hopeful that maybe it was just an off night. It has promise to be delicious, so I'll probably try again sometime. Hopefully the timing won't be so bad. read more

Very tasty product without a heavy crust, unlike other deep dish offerings. Our server Wiley was very attentive even though he was minding the To Go counter and training a new hire. Only complaint is that our Caesar salad needed more dressing and there ought to be a salt dispenser on the table - no one has these anymore? read more
