It starts with Juan Ibarra, who was our driver for 2 weeks as we toured San Antonio, Austin, and The Hill County of Texas. He was superb. First of all, he was just NICE. Good conversationalist, pleasant, helped people off with a hand (when needed), was always in a good mood. Actually chimed in with some interesting facts along the way. Second of all, he knows the area like the back of his hand. We had to get through San Antonio's morning rush-hour traffic. Instead of losing an hour like everyone else, he took us on short cuts that took less than half the time. Third of all, ALWAYS on time. I will always have this image in my head of his Star Shuttle motor coach just pulllllllling up to the sidewalk in from of the Bullock Museum just as we are coming out. Fourth, he's a good driver. He negotiated the streets of San Antonio and our multiple stops. Our hotel in Austin (the Hyatt Place at Austin airport) wasn't built with motor coaches in mind. With a max degree of difficulty, he got us in to the hotel front. And then, there's the coach. Comfortable, flexible, clean, and lovely views. The sound system and technology hook-up (HDMI, etc.) was great. A bathroom, but nobody really used it with all the stops we had. Absolutely top-flight experience. Juan was amazing. Give that dude a RAISE!!!!!

Next time I will drive or get the hotel to take me to the next bar. As taking an Uber this time I felt NOT safe and now my mental health is seriously compromised. I went back to my hotel and cried and did not go out the rest of the night and it was early, as in it was only 10pm but I was not able to trust Uber to take me were I need to go.

He told me "normally you would be asked to throw those drinks away before boarding. If one of them spills on MY bus then I have to get a whole new bus". I told him "first of all does this bus have your name on it? Second of all, the last couple of times I have had a Dutch bros drink on this bus around this time, not one bus driver has been as rude as you. And lastly nor have they asked me to throw away drinks." And he was just quiet after that. I asked him "do you have a child that keeps you up all night when you have to go to work early? I didn't think so dude. I have had a bad week this week. And I will be reporting you to the via people to let them know how much of an ass hole you are."

I really enjoy the bike pod that is here. They are a free service to parking your bike for up to 72 hours out of the weather. It is perfect for those who drive in and then commute. You can keep your bike there locked up with your own lock. I hope these catch on at the rest of the stations, I will be using them for sure!

Lyft is so much more friendly than the competitors, it seems. They're always eager to hand out free or discounted ride offers online or at festivals. It's fairly easy to get some free rides during Fiesta! I always appreciate the pink fluffy mustache that adorns the front of some of the cars driving around. The drivers are always friendly, and talkative. I've never ridden in a dirty car, or with a rude driver. I realize that this isn't the rule, and there are always going to be some bad apples in the cart, but I've had good luck. Some of the drivers have even had cold water, and snacks in the back ready for riders! Deluxe!!! It's the best option when heading for the airport, since taxis have to pay some sort of taxi fee or surcharge of some sort.

Fear…read more These buses are where they filmed the movies: Via And Loathing In Las Vegas Cape Via Primal Via The Only Thing To Via Is Via Itself A Room With A Via Via From The Top A Via To A Kill And where they recorded the album: Viva La Via (Or Bus And All His Friends) Pretty good transit services in San Antonio, which are not really that expensive and compared to some cities (looking at you NYC, Boston) nobody really uses them even though it's quite a poor City. And so in the South part of town a lot of the Hispanic neighborhoods don't even get that many lines, connections are not nearly extensive enough considering the amount of ground they have to cover cuz it's a really huge sprawling City. Meanwhile in the north side of town nobody uses buses (comparatively speaking) cuz that's where all the rich people live, and often they would rather shoot themselves than ride on the bus apparently (and sometimes even do), and that's the area that has all the best extensive bus routes and connections, so figure that out for yourself. San Antonio at actually has a pretty good public transport system but it's not that hard because unlike the other Texas cities especially Houston and Dallas it isn't such a vast expanse of endless traffic and so it's fairly easy to get around regardless of whether you are driving or using public transport. San Antonio is just a more manageable City in the most obvious reason why is because not a lot of people live here in terms of population density compared to those other cities. Anyway the facilities are good and are in working order and I've always had good experiences on the public transport of San Antonio compared to some of the Nightmare Horror Stories in New York and Los Angeles and so on. Having said that they're pretty clean and they all look brand new so that's a big plus and so is this the flag of Switzerland.
