If I could give 0 stars, I would. Spent over $100 on Redken product. Got home and used it once. It is not Redken. Doesn't look, smell, or feel the same. Since I used it, they will not refund or exchange. Girl on phone kept saying it is Redken. I will show you the receipt and that she uses it all the time. Asked to speak to manager, was told no they were in FL. She said its just me and the owner here. I asked to speak to the owner, she said that the owner handed her the phone. I asked again to speak to the owner. She said she could put me on speaker phone. I shared my concern. Silence. I was taken off of speaker phone. Was told owner said no refunds or exchanges. I was then hung up on. Piss poor customer service. Unacceptable. read more

I've walked passed this salon a hundred times and it always looks clean and modern. I noticed a sign in their window for a $25 introductory hair-cut and, since I'm looking for a stylist, I thought I'd call and see what their offers were for a hair cut and partial hi-light. When I called, the woman who answered the phone was brisk and rude. She told me their stylists were busy at the moment, but she THINKS a hair cut is $45 and a partial hi-light is $65, but she didn't really know. She said I could call back later and didn't bother to tell me about the special I had seen hanging in their own window the day before. Unfortunately for them, I do not appreciate this kind of service and I will not be making an appointment with them. If they can't bother to properly train the person answering their phone, how can I trust them to make sure the person who is cutting my hair is properly trained? read more

I've been purchasing my hair products from Via Style for about 2 years now. They have an awesome selection of products and the price is right and the punch card makes it an even sweeter deal. So, that said, maybe its who I encountered, but there was a very arrogant girl that "helped" me the last time I was in. I had been to my own stylist who is actually DevaCurl certified. I just buy products from Via Style for the price. But a new product was introduced and I purchased a small bottle from my regular salon to tide me over. When I went to Via Style, I was told, in uncertain terms that there was NO new product or they would certainly have it. She said that the product I was talking about was a "repackaging" of the product I HAD been using. I was pretty certain she wasn't correct, but she was rather arrogant about it. I purchased the one I had always used but was disappointed because I knew I was right and she wouldn't even bother to check into it...she acted as if she knew everything and talked to me that same way. So, today I was on the DevaCurl site and sure enough they do have a new product. I called Via Style today to ask about it and maybe it was the same girl because she was rude and abrupt on the phone and told me she had a customer (hmmm...and I'm not?) and that maybe they'd carry it in a month or so. She was probably the same rude girl I encountered the other day...thinking she knew everything. Other than the price, I hate the thought of going there again...rude customer service with a know-it-all attitude sure doesn't win this customer over. read more

Gave this salon a chance because I was very in need of a haircut, put it off for far too long and I was noticing some split ends. The decor was beautiful and drew me in, and the deal in the window was hard to pass up. Possibly just the stylist that was on that day but when I went home after having my hair cut there I still was noticing a ridiculous amount of split ends. Really upset about this. read more

The four stars are for the selection of product you can find in this store I left off one star for one reason They now make you sign your own receipt so you can be advised of the return policy ok, i really dont need to do this, all you need to do is have that printed ON your receipt and if the customer fails to pay attention to this, then thats their problem you really dont need to do this and its a waste of time, just give me my receipt and thats it i dont see too many happy people there, I wonder why? read more

I bought a beauty product from Via Style store at Pheasant Lane Mall at Nashua and at home I opened it to use when I realized it is not the same one I had previously bought so went back to return it but the lady at the counter told me beauty products cannot be returned or exchanged. When I asked her how come nobody told me that when I was buying it she said it is in the receipt. Every store allows return or exchange and when they do not they tell you upfront what stuff cannot be returned or exchanged even though it is being mentioned in the receipt. Not only she did not exchange the product she was rude and arrogant too. Not once she apologized and she turned and left to attend another customer when I was still talking to her...that was so rude!! I wasted my money now that I cannot use the product...I used to buy stuff from there regularly because of large variety of products they carry but I promised myself I am NEVER EVER going to buy anything from there again. read more

Deceptive advertising. I have been buying my hair care products here for over a decade. Today there were large signs all over the store: "40% off for a limited time". There is no 40% off sale. It is the same Buy One Get One at 40% off promotion they have all the time. In addition, I do not like the added step of signing the receipt to acknowledge the 30 day return policy. read more

Matt at via style is amazing. I have been a customer for almost 15 years, starting when they were upstairs. He does a great job helping me choose the right cuts and colors and always lets me know if can achieve what I want before we start. There is also a large selection of products and the girls are very helpful choosing the right ones. They carry kerastase and bumble and bumble, both hard to find in Nashua! read more

Awful customer service! The conditioner I wanted to purchase was wrongly marked and the women who helped me was incredibly RUDE! I informed her that it was mismarked on the shelf and she was kurt with me and DID NOT honor the price as marked. I will be shopping online from another supplier from now on. read more

Terrible customer service. I purchased the Bumble & Bumble spray from them which I had purchased numerous times from them in the past. I didn't need to use it right away as I had some left in the other can so I didn't notice that the nozzle was broken and it would not spray. I went back into the store for an exchange and the woman refused and wan't nice about it either. I will never purchase anything from there again and I do not recommend this place to anyone. read more

I have been to Via Style on numerous occasions because I love the hair products. I am normally not one to complain but it seems every time I go there and the woman with short black hair and glasses is working I get bad customer service. She is extremely rude to all her customers as well as her staff. I have personally witnessed her scold staff on the floor in front of customers. I would think since she is the first impression of the business that it would be a good one, instead she always has a nasty expression on her face and I do not feel welcomed at all. I have also decided to buy my products else where because of this service, as a matter of fact the last time I was there I actually put the products back on the shelves because I did not want to have to deal with her. I have actually even mentioned to other staff members that I do not like dealing with her and they have all been extremely nice and apologetic. I am not sure what position she holds or how long she has been there but something should be done about her attitude. If she doesn't want to be nice to her co-workers and employees maybe she should consider getting a new job. read more

I bought a hair care product at Viastyle Salon in Nashua, NH on November 1, 2012 for my daughter's wedding weekend. The product was $21.99. The cap was not on tight and the product leaked all over my personal care product bag and all over my clothes. I needed my clothes for my daughter's wedding weekend and they were all soiled with the product. I brought the product back today, November 14th and talked to who I thought was the owner or manager. She said it was not their fault that the cover was not on tight, so in other words I guess it was my fault the cover was not on tight. I asked if she could give me another product and send this back as damaged and she said no it was not damaged and once again said it was not their fault. She accused me of using the product. She said it was 19 days ago that I bought it. Well, I guess she cannot count because it was 13 days ago, and that was my first chance to get back to the mall since the wedding. I cannot believe in this economy that a business would treat their customers like this. I will never shop there again and I will make it my job to tell everyone how I was treated so they will not shop there either. Good luck staying in business. read more

If I could give this business a lower star rating I would. I have purchased hair products and face products from this business before and was satisfied with my purchases. I recently went there and purchased a new shampoo and conditioner at an expensive price, $26.99 and $28.99 per bottle. I had asked the associate behind the register which of two products were better, she had suggested that since I was currently using one of the products it would be a good idea to switch it up, to the more expensive. I have used this name in the past and really liked it but never used the said product I had purchased. The associate, who come to find out was new, told me if I didn't like it to come back and return it, she said that I couldn't use the entire bottle, obviously. I used this each of the shampoo and conditioner twice. I went to return the product and the "manager" had stated that I had used half the bottle and she could not even issue a credit. I told the young girl what I had been informed and felt completely deceived. I only wanted a store credit to get what I ususally use. I had the manager contact the store owner, who according, to the customer standing next to me was "crazy" and she had heard about customers arguing with the owner in the past. The manager reiterated exactly what she had previously said, however, she had told the owner that I had used half of the bottle which was a complete lie, this annoyed me even more. I am not the type of person to make a fuss about things but this accusation was a blatant lie. I told the girl at the counter that I will never shop there again. This is not the way you treat customers, I have worked in retail and know the frustration of having a customer complain to you but I was right and should have at least been credited. Do not shop there unless you want to called a liar and are dissatisfied with a product, you will not get a refund or even a strore credit. HORRIBLE BUSINESS!!! read more

I recently moved up to NH from TX. Having worked in a salon as a coordinator in TX, I decided to try and find a new place since I don't really have any friends up here yet to get recommendations.....bad idea. I worked at the mall until I was transferred to a different mall a couple of weeks ago, and decided to try this place out. I went in for a "consultation" one day, cause I knew my hair would be a project. I have been dying my hair a very dark mahogany red for the past few years, and I knew getting it out would not be a simple task. The girl who I consulted with seemed to know exactly what she was talking about, she decided doing a full highlight with toner would be best. Not my favorite route, but I've heard of that being done before. She told me it would take a couple of hours......day of appointment gets here, I go in a little early. She shows up ten minutes late, ok, no big deal......she then proceeds to foil my hair, for TWO hours. It took her over two hours to foil my hair.....I figured she must be right out of beauty school, she tells me she has been doing hair for EIGHT years. I spent a total of SIX hours in the salon. It took her almost three hours to foil my hair, and than another three to wash, dry and tone my hair, and then wash and dry it again. On top of that she used a demi toner, not even a semi or permanent. Good thing I scheduled that appointment on my day off. Needless to say I will not be returning. read more
