New members get oriented with care, and regulars look out for each other. Since it's in our neighborhood, we often see people we know. It feels welcoming whether you're a beginner or experienced. The cleanliness is outstanding, thanks to Maria, who works non-stop to keep things sparkling. Omar and other trainers are friendly and helpful. This place has a good vibe. My husband and I have been regulars here for almost 2 years. There is a good variety of cardio machines, free weights, and resistance equipment, and fun fitness classes. Plenty of space to work out, even during peak hours. Parking is convenient; we always find a parking space. One cool feature is a huge movie screen in an actual theatre, where instead of seats, there are rows of treadmills, stationery bikes, and elliptical trainers, where you can catch a movie while exercising. The time and the miles fly by. There is also swimming pool and a sauna. Very clean showers and bathrooms. The equipment gets wiped down regularly. On the rare chance of an 'out of order' machine, it's repaired quickly. They also update equipment. There's always staff around to keep things going. If you're looking for a gym where you feel welcome because people care about your experience, give Eos at 1954 E. McKellips Road a try. Highly recommend.

I'll admit, I was skeptical about trying EōS Fitness based on some mixed reviews I'd heard about the brand in general. I'm from Los Angeles, where EōS recently took over several Gold's Gym locations, so I wasn't sure what to expect. However, while visiting Arizona for a few days, this was the closest option--and I was honestly shocked when I walked inside. The size and capacity of this facility are incredibly impressive. It is exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and you can tell the team here takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly and safely. The equipment selection is a total chef's kiss. What really sold me, though, was the dedicated room tucked away in the corner with the professional lighting and mirrors for photos and filming. My private gym in LA is set up the exact same way, but it costs more than double the price of a membership here. I have three days left on my trip, and I'm genuinely looking forward to spending them at this location. If you're looking for a premium feel without the premium price tag, this is it.

The level of customer service is so low at this location. Rather than tell me that this promo was not running then (which he did not know for sure), he exclaims to me that the promos change every day, and they strictly only run for 24 hours. I pointed out that the current promo shows that it is good for more than 24 hours. It literally said that it was still good for 1 day, 9 hours, and 29 minutes. How can he say they ONLY run for 24 hours? He didnt like that. He kept saying that what I was describing is not correct. I asked him what promos were running the day I signed up. He then went quiet and suddenly hung up the phone. I immediately called back and spoke to another manager. He told me that what happened was unacceptable, and that their area manager would speak to him. That is great and all, but it still didnt answer my question. Now I feel disrespected and taken advantage of by this gym. They had promos running, they just refused to share them with me. They just saw dollar signs. I had already canceled my personal trainer because as I thought about it more, they have a 4-month commitment to all training, except the initial 1. That would be $800, and that's just too expensive, so I canceled after 2 days, never having used it. When I came in after canceling, the manager of personal training, Manda, was very aggressively asking why I canceled and not really accepting my reason. You could see it in her smirk. So when I realized I had been duped by her at sign up, I just canceled my entire membership. I was told I have 30 days to cancel, and I had only had it 1 week at this point. They tried to tell me that there is a cancelation fee for the membership. I explained that I will not be paying that, as I was within the first month. If I waited more than 1 month to cancel, then yes, that would make sense. Not when I canceled after a week for reasons having to do with their behavior, nothing I did. They will not ever see a dime from me after this. I do n9t recommend giving these people your money.

The friendly and teamwork based environment can not be matched by any other bootcamp style gyms (I've tried Cross fit, LifeTime programs, and EOS programs before). Since joining I have utilized all the workout formats that are offered, equipment, supplemental workouts, meal plans, and different class times/sessions. All of which are employed by Team[fit] with fidelity and are geared to benefit the individual member. I get a team based workout with individualized attention that exceeds my standards and expectations. From having to book, change, or cancel class sessions last minute to seeking performance feedback, everything you need is here. Team[fit] is so organized they put it all at your finger tips using app based programs. To this day I continue to make friendships that start with a Team[fit] workout. Whether from group workouts to a positive fitness experience there is someone who seeks the same opportunities as you. So I recommend you give it a try. Plus, I still can't feel my calfs or walk from a full-body workout two days ago, so I think it is working..?

Sometimes I did my own thing and sometimes I took classes. I really thought I was getting decent exercise. Then I had a friend convince me to come to one of these classes on arm day and I realized that I was so much more weak and out of shape than I thought I was. This boot camp is run out of the gym at a church and is designed by the owner/trainer Jeff and his wife Jessie. It alternates between weight training days (arms/legs/full body) with conditioning days. There is always a bit of a cardio element to the weight training days and conditioning usually has lighter weights/higher reps and running/sprints. It is ALWAYS different and never boring. The best thing about it is that all you have to do is drag your butt to the gym and Jeff will do the rest. The workouts are about 45 minutes long, but they are hard. Jeff does a great job of guiding newbies, and will help anyone modify exercises if they are too tough. He will push you, though. So, here I am 9 months later and in WAY better shape than when I started, but I still have a ways to go. There are a ton of men and women that have been members for a lot longer and are in such amazing shape. It's great for me to see them kill workouts because it's inspiring. Also, everyone here is super duper nice and encouraging. It really is like a family in the best way possible. I can't thank Jeff and Jessie enough for everything they do at TeamFit. It has changed my life for the better, and I can't imagine ever stopping. Do yourself a favor and try them out!
