My legs, arms and core are shaking! I attended a Classic Lagree class for the first time on a Sunday morning. Checking in was easy and you are assigned a machine number. Since it was my first time our instructor Jazlinn provided a basic demo of the Mega Pro machine. There was several other peoples first time as well which was amazing to see and not feel alone. The class flowed nicely and it was intense. Definitely requires practice practice and more practice to engage your core, learn the machine and finding your rhythm. I would recommend this class and plan to schedule more classes. read more

Took the beginner Lagree class and had a great experience! Chelsea was an amazing instructor, she was encouraging, patient, and did a fantastic job explaining the movements and making sure everyone had proper form. I tried Lucky Penny Lagree during a ticketed event. I've always wanted to try Lagree and thought taking a class with a group of girls would be the perfect time to! The studio is beautiful and clean and there are 12 Megaformer Pro machines. The owner, McKenna B taught the "beginner" class. I struggled the entire 45 minutes of this beginner class. I was sweating within the first few minutes. No wonder they keep it cold in the room! Highly recommend Lucky Penny Lagree for a very challenging workout! New student class is only $20. read more

Lucky Penny Lagree is my new go to spot for Lagree! The interior is new, beautiful and has such a fresh vibe! Every single instructor is so helpful, exceptional, genuine, kind, and incredible. The studio definitely makes me feel like I'm a part of the community and I always leave feeling accomplished and strong. I've met the owner McKenna who is so passionate and dedicated. I respect how hard she's worked and invested into her business! So, I used to work out at another Lagree studio and always felt miserable and lost in their classes, but once I took my first class at Lucky Penny, they won me over 1000%! I love these workouts because they are achievable with many modified options to go easier or harder. They also have beginner level classes for those that are just starting out. You're always cued a countdown before the next move so you can prep your positioning. And their music choices and different themes are so on par with the exercises and this keeps things bubbly and exciting! I legit feel like I'm getting a workout and attending a concert at the same time! For example, I recently attended their John Summit, Dom Dolla and High School throwback classes. What a vibe! Again, the studio is such a refreshing addition to the east valley and I'm so grateful to attend! I had a class at Lucky Penny and it did not disappoint! My body was feeling it days later! It is a stunning studio, definitely worth every penny. Their merch is super cute and they have the newest Lagree Megaformers. This was my first time doing lagree and the instructor was very kind and helped explain everything about the machine. They lock the doors during classes so no strangers wonder in which is great for safety, along with our personal items being safe. I loved this class and location, 10 out of 10 for me! read more

You don't need a lucky penny nor the luck of the Irish to find this lovely studio. It's in the Fry's shopping plaza behind the Chik Fil A and the signage is very easy to spot. The studio itself is immaculate and well ventilated with plenty of airflow to cool you down while you are in class. I've been here a handful of times and DaNaeja is da best! She is so friendly and helpful at guiding everyone to attain correct form while they are on the machine. Her instruction has been really easy to follow and she's great at motivating people. Some things I really like about Lucky Penny compared to other lagree studios: - Beginner classes. This is such a huge plus because it takes a few classes to get acquainted with what each move is supposed to look like. At a regular level class the pace is much faster and too intense for me since I'm just starting out. As a reference, although I used to work out quite frequently, I don't exercise much these days, I maybe get one more workout in a week in addition to taking lagree once a week. - More focus on arms/full body. Other studios either do a very quick arm workout or it's not very challenging. Here even in the beginner class you can feel like you're getting a good upper body workout in addition to core and lower body. - The machines here have adjustable pads that can tilt at an angle so you can have an even more personalized workout and make it more difficult or easy depending on how you feel that day. - Cool down and stretching period. So important after a good workout! Scheduling has been very easy on ClassPass. I accidentally signed up for the wrong class and although I wasn't able to get a hold of someone on the phone, someone reached out after I messaged and I was able to sign up for the class I intended to go to with no issues. Had my first class here on Dec 24th! I practice Pilates regularly but have never done Lagree before! I took a beginner Lagree class through ClassPass (FAVE), and it was perfect to help me walk through / learn Lagree moves. Similar to Pilates in a lot of ways but different with the Megaformer and the emphasis on moving SLOWLY! Our instructor was helpful and demonstrated moves for us while correcting our form when need be- she helped make me feel confident I was doing these moves correctly to prevent injury which is super important to me! Lots of parking out front, studio itself is super cute, vibes were up, and everyone including myself seemed to have a great time! I have been here twice, once as a very first timer and then once again exactly a week later from a class I booked on class pass. I had never don't Lagree before this, and I am SO happy to have found this studio. Our instructor was amazing, the studio is so cute and fresh and pretty and I LOVE the burn of Lagree. I will def be buying a pass now for this studio so I can keep returning. read more
