Review #24 of Yelp's 30 Day Challenge 2012 How has it been a year since my last Party Rental Depot review? I guess if there's one thing a review challenge is good for, it's also updating old reviews! Whenever I'm in need of party supplies, these are the folks I call first. Actually, I check the website first because they've got an awesome inventory list and online reservation system. We've rented everything from tables, to helium tanks to linens from them and each and every time, my stuff's ready to go. And if you need delivery, that's pretty painless too! And everyone there is always just so pleasant to deal with. It's no wonder I keep coming back. read more

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this company whatsoever, despite them having excellent rates. There were so many problems with our rental I almost don't know where to start. 1. From the first contact by phone, the service providers were cold and non-engaging, turning to downright rude when there started to be issues with the rental. 2. We picked up the rental stuff and it seemed all ready for us, but unfortunately we did not think to double check the very large order. This became an issue the next morning when we realized an entire palette of things were missing from our order, including all of our linens. They offered to drop them off at the venue, but we realized it would be quicker for us to meet someone at the warehouse instead of having them go there, grab things, and come to us. 3. When I broached these concerns after our rental was completed, they stated that a) it was our fault for not checking the rental inventory (although on the phone on Saturday the manager had said it was her staff's responsibility to go through it with us and no one did) and b) they had offered to drive but we declined - which we had only done simply because of time constraints. They did give us a discount - of $20 off of a $1000+ bill - haha! Laughable! 4. There was a mix up between our chafing dishes from the venue and theirs and we sent back the wrong ones. Instead of calling to inform us of this, they simply charged the credit card with no conversation. I was able to send someone to switch the chafing dishes and get the penalty refunded. 5. They claimed we were sent things we didn't ever receive (again, we never checked the invoice and no one went through it with us). 6. They called the day before our pick up to inform us that items were not available, so we had to make adjustments on the fly for our event. This company was half the cost of another that quoted me, but alas, I would rather pay more to work with friendly people who follow through and don't blame the client. There was a way for us to come to a win-win here, but unfortunately, the service providers were not interested in that. And why should they - they have our money and we had a horrible experience. Used the linens for a fundraiser put on by our organization - they had everything we needed and the linens were good quality.

Everything was fabulous! The only downside is they did not call in advance on both delivery and pick up day. I specifically asked them to call. Great prices. Would use them again anytime. read more

Very fast, efficient and easy to deal with. They have great supplies and are happy to suggest what would work for your gathering in a cost effective manner. I have used them 3 times now for an annual wine club party, when it is my turn to host. I would not use anyone else. They drop off and pick up the dishes too at a minute extra price. I recently rented a back drop and lights for a wedding here, when i went to return them they did not want to look over it with me to ensure there was no damage, they said the linnen needed to be looked over the fabric department ( it was basicly a few sheets) and the lights department will look over the lights( they were strands of christmas lights) I was charged $15 (conviently the deposit) a few days later saying that i had broken 12 bulbs ( which i had checked prior to dropping of and there was no dammage at all thats why I asked for them to check when I was there) when I called and told them this all they said was im sorry you feel this way theres nothing we can do read more

Great experience working with Party Rental Depot. Rented tables for our wedding. Rental process was easy. People were friendly and provided quick service! Only challenge we encountered was the warehouse not being open on the weekend to return the tables. Had to find a place to store the tables over the weekend coordinate drop off during business hours. They do offer delivery and pickup though, we just wanted to save a few dollars. Definitely would recommend Party Rental Depot! read more
