Very unprofessional and dated salon!! I had an appt at 1p. I walked out at 1:25p after them trying to force me to take a random tech! I scheduled specifically one person. I have gone to this place many times, but will not be going back. This is the second time I went where I've had the only man in the shop give me a pedicure. Both times felt very rushed and the job was mediocre. This last time when he told me I was done I was visibly shocked because it went by so quickly. And, I felt like I had to leave immediately and not allowed to sit there to let them dry for even a few minutes. I left with paint not only on my toes but skin surrounding it as well. And, will definitely not be going back. For the amount of money you pay to get a regular pedicure at the very least the polish should be on your nails and not on your skin. It does seem that if you are a regular customer and use the same person over and over again, the service is better. This was my second visit--and it will be my last. During my first visit, I got a gel pedicure. I was serviced by the only man in the shop. He was polite, but I had a feeling he was rushing to get to other customers. Maybe he assumed I wouldn't tip. I tipped him $12, and he seemed surprised. He thanked me, and I left. On this second visit, I requested a gel manicure and gel pedicure. Once again, the service felt rushed. The woman doing my pedicure nicked my big toe while hurriedly drilling off the old polish. I asked for square-shaped nails, but she clipped them into a rounded shape and then awkwardly tried to square the corners. I was irritated but didn't have time to go elsewhere. A different woman did my gel manicure. She was friendly, but her technique left a lot to be desired. Some of my nails are smooth, while others are bumpy and lined. I still have hangnails. Meanwhile, customers of a certain status were clearly given better treatment. Women who were already being serviced when I arrived were still being pampered when I left. I was charged $93 for subpar work. I won't be returning--and I won't be referring anyone. There are two other nail salons in the same shopping center and two more just down the street. "Disappointed" doesn't even begin to cover it. read more

Horrible Service. First time visiting and will be the last. I scheduled an appointment ahead because I had plans right after. Once I arrived I was told it would be a 40 minute wait. I advised I had an appointment and was told my appointment time was fine. After being ignored while they all kept working on other customers. I asked again if someone could assist me and was asked again if I could walk around in the area and come back in 40 minutes. Absolutely not. I have been going here since September and as of the last three times I've come I'm done for good! I've been left in the middle of someone doing my nails for 40 minutes before someone came and finished applying the acrylic. I've also been switched around from person to person almost every time I go! My nails always crack and they always upcharge me I was charged $75 for a fill when I paid 75 for a full set! This time I paid $75 plus a 30% tip (which I always give) my nails started coming off 3 days later and my middle finger is lifted off the nail bed! I loved this place but I'm upset that as a repeat customer who sits and doesn't cause issues or even ask to have anything on my nails changed once they're done! For $75+ I would hope to not have a ruined nail bed and some pretty nails! read more

Heed the reviews & go elsewhere. They have cheaper prices for dips than others in the area but they will DESTROY your nails and they don't guarantee the service like other nail places. They also talk about you in Vietnamese, which is similar in practice but the girls are a bit meaner here. read more

Not a great pedicure experience with the blonde male nail specialist. He managed to talk himself out of having to remove my calluses and giving me a foot message entirely despite my pushback to please include both. He claimed the callus is "good for my toe" and will just come back as if I'm not a woman who has been walking this earth for long enough to know that calluses come back. He also talked my ear off about pregnancy and medical advice... telling me how there's pressure on my feet and a foot massage is unhealthy for the baby and if you push hard enough in one spot it'll kill the baby. Like what!? For reference, I am 33 weeks pregnant, mom of two. He tried to mansplain way too much about my health for being a) a man and b) having no children of his own. (I'm not assuming he didn't have kids--he told me such). I was reading a magazine while getting my pedicure and he turned the light off half way through. It was like sitting in a dark dungeon but I guess that was his attempt at making the painful calf-only massage relaxing? I left with a splotchy paint job and unhappy feet that are still yellow and callused. I even gave him a $10 tip which is 33% of the price of the pedicure and he didn't even say thank you! He told me next time I come back after the baby he'll give me a real pedicure since I won't be pregnant - yeah right, "next time"! read more

So I have to give a two because one of my nailbeds is severely damaged and I'm really bummed out. The lady who gave my gel manicure seemed rushed and the edge of the e-file cut into the base of my natural nailbed. The nails themselves look pretty good and have lasted for almost a week which I am happy about, and the pedicure was lovely. I went here for a pedicure. First time. Won't go back. The technician was rude. She told me to put my feet in the tub and the water was ice cold. My feet weren't actually in the water long enough to soften the skin. She cut into my cuticle and caused significant bleeding. The vibe of the nail salon is great. However, the woman that did my nails rushed me to pick a color and my entire manicure as a whole. I got a dip powder manicure. The nail tech reshaped all of my nails in different shapes (after asking for square three times, they were rounded) and made them super thick, patting the powder onto my nails with her fingers. She made various rude comments to me and my friends while we were there and seemed ungrateful for our business in the salon. It's taken me two additional dip manicures to get my nail shape back to the way I like it. Maybe a different nail tech would be better but I will not be returning to this salon. I always jump around from nail place to nail place, finding the right fit. Other places, the nail techs don't care about you, or you know they are talking crap about you. I always get a gel pedicure, and I can never pick a color! Lol they are so patient with me and never try to rush me. They serve wine, or offer you water as you get your manicure or/and pedicure. I went to vibrant Nail Bar today and I can say I'm satisfied. I had been looking for a nail shop close that actually used tub liners . Thank goodness they do ! It was a clean enough shop . I came a little before the rush (3pm) . The pedicure was lovely . I liked the fact that the offer drinks . I also got the gel powder full set . I told him the shape I wanted and he told me "no" . I just wanted an oval shape and got a square-ish shape . This was the only negative for me . I love that they have a wide selection of polishes from gel powder to chrome . I will be returning . Update: I came back for a second time and I'm not happy . I had asked for gel nails only to discover that instead he did SNS. Son or only did I not get the shape I wanted , but he did what he wanted . Note : the style was pretty .. I just didn't like the fact he didn't do what I asked. Today I came in for a pedicure and it all was great until I saw how the actual pedicure looked - messy, sloppy, rushed. I have now been coming to Vibrant Nail Bar for over 4 years and each experience has been absolutely phenomenal. I always request Nam for my nails who always does an incredible job! The sanitation practices are up to date especially living in todays times with emerging viruses. The tools are sanitized after each use and the pedicure area uses disposable coverings for each new service. I usually go to Lynn or Ken for my pedicure service who always do a through job. Love Vibrant! Have been coming for about 8 months to see Emily for SNS dip nails. She is super fast and efficient but does not lack in attention to perfect shaping and color selection. They offer one of the widest ranges of SNS color I have ever come across in a salon. Emily is always open to helping select color schemes that go well together or to matching Pinterest inspiration photos. I love having my nail art completed by Tiffany. Can not recommend coming here enough. I was a nail biter in the past and now people don't even believe that these are my natural nails under the dip! This place seemed very clean, and the decor is up to date. I received the following services... Gel soak off, classic pedicure, and sns manicure. The pedicure area is separate from the nail stations. Each chair has its own light over it. When it comes time for the massage portion of the pedicure they turn off your light. It really added to the relaxation. The classic pedicure was very thorough. I wish I remembered the name of the woman who did my pedicure. She meticulously tended to my nail bed and toe nails. The scrub was not quick like some places. I love the fact that they have the foot block to elevate your foot for you during the scrub. No more straining to keep your leg up, lol. She didn't talk hardly at all during the pedicure because the language barrier was stronger but I prefer to just relax during my pedicure. The sns manicure was done by Jen. She did an awesome job! She explained the system well and did a very neat job. No deep filing or cuticle cutting. She consistently asked if I was ok. She didn't talk my head off which I love. I saw some reviews about some techs not conversing much. Not everyone likes to talk the entire time they're being serviced. Sometimes you just want to sit back and relax. The color selection is vast, and neatly displayed. A young lady came in and asked for a specific color that was just released for Fall and they had it. LOVE THAT. Lol. The only thing that had me feeling funny is that they didn't offer me the complimentary drink but two other women that came in after me I heard them offer a drink. Emily is absolutely amazing at the SNS and is very friendly. I enjoyed my SNS manicure with her as she took time to get to know me and had friendly but personable conversation with me. On the other hand my pedicure experience was less than stellar. The tech never introduced herself, never made eye contact or asked me any questions. I didn't have the experience most women have with a super relaxing foot/leg massage and I'm definitely glad I didn't get anything more than a regular classic pedicure. I was never offered a beverage so to be honest, I was debating to leave after my pedicure. Something urged me to just wait and at least try the SNS manicure and I'm glad I did because it turned my experience around. This is my new go to nail spa. I love the ambiance and customer service. Nam, technician and owner is AWESOME!!! The atmosphere is calm and serene. A beautiful shop, and spotless. I appreciate the plastic disposable cover used in the pedicure bowl. Just an extra measure used to ensure cleanliness. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I once LOVED this spot, but today's experience was AWFUL, so this will likely be my last visit. When I arrived, it was pretty busy, so I expected to wait. I finally got to the back for my pedicure. I sat with my feet in the bowl for at least 15 minutes before Nam, my favorite nail tech came to service me. She began my service then disappeared throughout my service, to service at least 4 other customers. She completed everything up to my leg message. She left but never returned. About 15 minutes later, a totally different nail tech, came to finish the job. She was unable to open the polish bottle, so she went to the front for assistance, but did not return for at least 5 minutes. She finally polished my toes, which came out great, but over an undrained pedicure bowl . The bowl was not drained until she completed the polishing. All in all, It took 1.5 hours to complete my pedicure due to the countless interruptions. I left my original review which was 5 stars purposely, to highlight how 1 bad customer service experience can adversely affect a customers outlook on a business. I am hopeful that this feedback assists the business in handling customers when busy. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I received a private message from the owner, apologizing for my experience, and asking me to return to give them another chance, so I did. I didn't advise anyone of my return, just went in as a regular patron. I must say, that my visit was great, as it has been so many times in the past. I believe the "not so stellar" service I received last year was an anomaly, and merely a blip in the longstanding great service that I've received from this establishment. (I do not think I'll ever be back again. The whole vibe was just off. I don't want to pay $195 plus $30 tip for that kind of treatment) Allow me to point out WHAT I LOVE about the place. -I love how clean the place is. It's not exquisite but relatively cleaner compared to other salons. -I love Kelly, the woman who did my manicure and pedicure. I don't think she did a wonderful job at truly cleaning my cuticles but how nice she is as a person definitely surpasses the "cuticle cleaning flaw". -I love that they have extensive SNS color options and I love that they serve complimentary drinks such as water, soda, and wine. WHAT I DO NOT LOVE about the place is -I taught my sister in law and my mom to sit at the leather massage chair and turn on the massager as they don't really get pedicures often so they're not used to the set-up. The staff (all 3 of them doing other people's nails) looked at us and looked at each other and said something in Vietnamese or Thai language then smiled at each other... -How disorganized the staff are. They had no idea who's doing who. After my mom's pedicure she waited a little over 20 minutes for someone to polish her toes... -They asked if we'd like gel polish on our toes and we said yes right away. Not knowing that it's $15 more... I wouldn't have minded if it were for my finger nails because I want them to be exquisite but for my feet? $28 for a classic pedicure plus $15 for gel polish is a little too much. It's probably my fault for not asking but they should have told me too... -the staff who was serving complimentary drinks asked if we'd like water or soda or wine, to which another staff (doing another woman's pedicure) shouted, interrupting saying they don't have wine. It would have been fine because hey, it's complimentary, I'll take what they have but there were unopened bottles of wine displayed by the area where they do manicure... -I wanted design on my ring finger, unfortunately Kelly is not very good at it so they waited for the staff who knew to so it... this staff was the lady who was doing my mom's nails. I waited about 10-15 minutes for the lady to "almost" finish my mom's nails as she came over to me, asked for my design and say oh, this is 3D. It's $25 for 2 fingers to do this design. Mind you, they advertised that designs are $5 per 2 fingers (I learned my lesson after that $15 gel polish so I made sure to look at their prices)... I opted for a rhinestone design because they said it's 10 for 2 fingers because they use crystals. I say okay. They dug threw a clear drawer with rhinestones and couldn't find the one I wanted (clear) and they were plastic, not crystals... read more

If I could give Vibrant Nail Bar 0 stars I would. It really is unfortunate, as they do a pretty decent job whenever I receive a gel manicure, but this last time was awful. Please believe the reviews when people have said they charge you extra. Every time I get ready to pay, there are extra fees tacked on that come out of no where. It just always feels like they're trying to scam you. They don't explain what these extra charges are either. The total is always something different. What really put me over the edge this past time, was the physical pain I felt from the gel manicure. Everything was normal until the nail tech left the polish removal on my nails too long and shaved down my nail with the shaving tool. The minute she put whatever clear chemicals on my finger nails, my nails/skin began to burn so bad. It was so bad that it took everything in me not to cry. Every time she grabbed my finger and squeezed it to place another coat on, I would just wince and pray for it to be over already. Honestly, she asked me if I wanted a third coat and although I needed one, I pretty much cried out no! Anyways, I'm not usually the type to say anything and I really should have... because it really was so so so painful. I hate how small that place is because if you say anything, everyone can hear you. What really got me was yet again being charged extra fees out of no where..... no idea where that came from. I even calculated the cost of my regular pedicure/my gel manicure and somehow an extra $4-5 was tacked on. After all this, I had a nurse take a look and she told me that I had burns from the chemicals and that they were definitely second degree burns. Needless to say, I will not be going back ever ever ever again. The pain was too much, I was worried I'd get an infection because their tools and polish bottles look so old/us, AND I'm tired of the extra fees. I'm telling you, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! *UPDATE: someone from Vibrant Nails reached out and offered a refund. I responded that I would like a refund... never heard back. I've been going to Vibrant Nail Bat for almost a year now and always request Nam and Vu. They are the most incredible nail techs I've ever been serviced by and are always professional. My nails have always lasted the 3 weeks advised for the sns and continued to look beautiful. The wine is refreshing and delicious which is a nice unique touch to a nail salon. I always look forward to visiting Nam or Vu because, I know it will feel like a mini vacation. The entire nail salon is very clean and hygenic which is always a necessity. *UPDATE* unfortunately I have not checked here in awhile but the Owner has since reached out to me but only to hold an employee accountable which is not what I wanted. That is past of the reason I hesitated to write this review in the first place. Yes the employee could have been nicer and better but it is all a reflection on the owner and management. They provided the dirty tools that started my infection. Their employee gave me the infection, therefore it falls under their responsibility as the business owner. I am extremely disappointed that this business owner is looking to blame and potentially discipline an employee rather than looking at themselves and their business to figure out what they could be doing wrong or better. *pictures are hard to see but they are after the infected hangnail was removed, and drained of pus* I never write reviews, mostly because I hate taking the time to do it but also because I don't want to hurt a business's reputation. That being said, after my experience at Vibrant Nail Bar, I'm here just to try and give a warning because I got an infection after getting my nails done here for the first time. Admittedly I did already have a hangnail when I went to get them done but I showed the technician and warned her that it was sore since that nail had just broken the night before. Even after I warned her about it she still pulled out a used file from her drawer and proceeded to file very aggressively. She filed straight up against the side of my nail, into the hangnail which hurt so bad that I involuntarily pulled my hand away. Then she apologized, grabbed my hand and continued to file hard. Now I don't come to a nail salon for amazing customer service, I'm typically only looking for quality and cleanliness, but the technicians at Vibrant seem generally unfriendly and even borderline aggressive. My service felt very rushed even though there were plenty of technicians sitting around without clients. This salon also asks you to wash your hands with soap and then scrub with a nail brush after most services. The nail brushes look very worn and are in a communal jar with a barbicide labein between the two sinks. I went against my better judgement and scrubbed with a brush as I was told to. Whether the infection came from the file or the scrubbing brush is a mystery but I've had countless hangnails in my life and I have been regularly getting my nails done twice a month for the last 8 years and this has never happened until my first time at Vibrant. my nail was so sore the day after my service and was bright red and swollen on the side of the hangnail. it hurt to even move my finger. i considered seeking medical attention but i decided to give it a day or two on my own to see if i could clear the infection. i soaked my whole finger tip in hydrogen peroxide every other hour. on the second day it was swollen to almost twice the size and the whole finger was unusable. finally after more soaking and waiting for the infection to reach its peak, my nail bed POPPED LIKE A PIMPLE. i had to painfully squeeze the trapped pus out to clean the infection. once the pus was finally released I was able to fully clean the infection and clear it up. again, i have been getting my nails done FAITHFULLY for 8 years across a few different salons. this has NEVER happened and has not happened since.
