When he sent me the before and after photos (see attached), I was shocked and relieved. He removed a dead tree in the front yard, identified termites inside of it, and advised me in order to prevent further damage to my home. Without being prompted, he provided expert guidance tailored to the needs of my yard, like advising when/how to spray for weeds, replant trees, and prioritize the grass. If i could give less than 1 star, I would. This Company does NOT stand behind their work. I spent…read moreover $5000 on my yard with this company and I am left with a flooding mess. I called them out to look at the fact that their work was substandard and to point out the issues. The "foreman" (Dennis) said to me, after not being able to explain the issue, "well you signed the contract!" They put down some "compact dirt" and I never heard from them again. I have flooding and apparently zero drainage. I WOULD NOT trust them with a potted plant. If anyone wants to take a look at their work in my backyard, let me know - it speaks for itself! Business Owner Response: Yes, I did say that at that time and Dennis also said that they would follow-up after "adding compressed dirt." After his dismissive comment when I asked your company to look at what was not corrected, which your quality assurance person witnessed, that did not leave me with a feeling that anything would be done if I initiated contact again. You are free to come and see what it is going on now. Yes it was done in 2021 and we have been dealing with it ever since. We spend a huge amount of money and went by guarantees that Denis himself made about how this would all be fixed and it is obviously not. Everything was explained to him when he did the estimate, nothing changed but when he did the work and I brought the issue to his attention rather than addressing the issue, the response was, "well you signed the contract." I am happy to discuss further, if you would like. To be clear, I did not wait "almost two years:" your foreman and "quality" person came out shortly after the work was done. Your Foreman was very unprofessional and dismissive with his "you signed the contract" comment. That does not give the impression that you are concerned with trying to correct anything. Apparently, that was not reported to you by him or your quality assurance person.

I have completed 1 year of full yard maintenance with The Ground Guys. They contracted to cut the…read moregrass, maintain the mulch beds, trim the edges, pick up debris, remove leaves, prune bushes, overseed and aerate in the fall, activate and winterize my irrigation system. I also engaged them to install mulch and prep the beds as an added fee. They subcontract the irrigation services, and that company was very good, identifying where previously the system had damage that was not identified by my previous service company (extra fee for the repairs). They worked with me as well to adjust the watering setup to preserve new plantings. The GG's services were delivered like clockwork. They are very efficient and complete in all they do. When blowing debris for clean up, my wife was especially pleased that they blew leaves off of our back deck! That was a plus! Since I work from home, I was aware of their comings and goings and the work was always done well. When I had questions, the crew was very responsive to me and contacted the main office when there was some confusion about a schedule that was worked out very nicely. I see the cost of this service as very similar to and competitive with regular HOA costs for "full service" condo or townhouse subdivisions, but this is performed on my 1/4 acre lot. I find great value in this service from The Ground Guys and plan to renew my contract.

Brothers & Sons just completed a landscaping project which included amending an area in the front…read moreof our home which had been covered in small river rock. We met with Jesus, the owner, twice, before work even started and he came by daily to check on the progress of our project. We also met with Elizabeth, a co-owner, as work was progressing. Both Jesus and Elizabeth had wonderful ideas for us to consider. Their company built a brick stairway leading from the side of our driveway and up into the planting area at the front of our house. It is exactly what we had in mind, and looks amazing. We also needed some bricks replace/repaired, and their workmanship was excellent. Lastly, they brought in soil and mulch, and planted a number of plants. All work was completed in a timely manner, and their workers were always on-time, and clearly had pride in their work. We truly enjoy our new front and side area, and will use Brothers & Sons for any future projects.

Elizabeth offered some brilliant suggestions for the design that was effective and would help control the water flow that included a retaining wall with integral drain. The crew was professional and hard-working. Beyond the hardscape, the sodding and seeding exceeded my expectations. I did my due diligence and got proposals from 4 companies, but in my opinion no one else offered the creativity and attention to detail that was evident in B&S's proposal. And their price was very good too. I would gladly hire them again.
