I've been coming to VICI for almost 2 years, and I can honestly say that finding them has been more than life-changing. To say that VICI is a place to just get a good workout is beyond an understatement. They are movement specialists. They go well beyond reps, sets, and types of workouts - it's all in the attention to detail. They show you how to make the proper mind/muscle connection that no other coach I ever had could do.. and I have an athletic background so I've had many different fitness coaches in the past. They combine PT level knowledge with your training. I've been to PT many times for injuries in HS and college, and honestly, you're better off just coming here - you'll learn a lot more and you get way more for your money. They specialize on athletes, but they work with every type of person, every walk of life, and any level of fitness. The programs follow universal movement patterns (hinge, press, squat, pull, etc), but they'll start honing in on your weaknesses and start tailoring the workouts specifically for your needs. For example, I didn't even know I had weak ankles, but they identified that and we worked for months fixing it. They'll find any slack/weakness in your movement, posture, gait, etc that you didn't even know you had and fix it. I've had chronic injury and pain caused from poor form and powerlifting, and they've been able to get me to a place where i can do it almost pain free now and with better performance. Sorry for the lengthy review. *My experience After a nearly three-year hiatus, I started training at VICI PERFORMANCE four months ago. During the previous three years, I gained 10+ lbs, experienced knee pain, and by the beginning of 2022, I started feeling tired and short of breath when going up the steps. That was my wake-up call. Luckily, I found VICI PERFORMANCE. Dan & Raul are, honestly, THE best. To put it in perspective, I have worked with several other trainers in the past, so I have room to make observations and compare. The following are the results I have seen in the last four months I have been training. I have noticed a significant increase in my range of motion, flexibility, endurance, and energy. In addition, my balance, core strength, and sleep have improved, and I have also lost a few inches overall. *The trainers Dan & Raul are excellent trainers, have a great attitude, are passionate about their trade, and do not compromise quality over quantity. The group sessions are not massive like in other places; thus, the trainers can observe each client and make corrections when needed. In addition, they are detail-oriented in body mechanics, which I really appreciate. Their workouts are not a "one size fits all" kind of workout; they assess you individually and prepare a routine based on your needs and current fitness level. I'm SO grateful for the system Dan Peterson has created, along with the help of Raul Miranda and Evelyn. I've been training with Dan for 1 year and 4 months and continue to make improvements in functionality, strength, stability, agility and overall health of my whole body. I've went from 16% to 10% body fat and am able to lift a lot of weight with good form. I'm so happy with VICI. I was looking for a place to get a great workout but was also dealing with an overuse injury and bad posture.
