Excellent bakery and food. It's difficult not to want to buy everything in showcase. Bought the Bistec sandwich, a tuna sandwich and a Cuban bowl for mains. The chicken in the Cuban bowl was quite salty for my taste but delicious. Also bought 2 mini flan which were great, as were the guava and cheese pastry. A loaf of Cuban bread also made it to the car. Employees were sweet and patient. Very clean and well maintained in public area. read more

This place is so cute and their pastries are good. The staff was great and very welcoming. I tried their guava pastry with cheese and it was amazing but their tres leches was really chunky and some of the chunks were dry so I personally didn't like it as much but it was still yummy apart from that. read more

Came here for Cuban coffee and pastries and everything was adequate - not the best or worst we have ever had - order rum cake (very very sweet - no real hints of rum or flavor nuance - nothing to taste wise from that or a glazed donut) and chocolate tatianoffs, which were chocolatey and creamy with cake at the bottom. Again good but not great. The Cortadito and Cafe con leche coffee was good, the place was very very clean and the service was good. All in all a good - but not a "must return" option. read more

Total Disappointment!. Pretty bad experience, meat in the empanadas was super salty, guava pastries were gummy not crunchy and the croquetas were not only salty but bland. They are not cheap which is not an issue if the food is great but in this case it was a flop!Nothing compared to the original Vicky in Miami. After a long wait, I'm disappointed in the food quality. The croquettes are bright pink inside, disgusting. The pan de bono is hard with little to no cheese. My husband had the pastelito de guava y queso and had a stomach ache for two days. It's over priced too. Only good thing is the Cuban bread and café con leche. read more

Cute place ... clean and cheerful. Got 2 (small) meat empanadas ($7.95) and a 12 oz. Orange juice (not fresh squeezed) that was $6.25! Counter service only and when paying with credit card they ask for a tip! The pastry looked good but no prices on the display ... I don't like being surprised. If they survive here in Royal Palm I'll be amazed. read more

This cute shop has a much bigger variety than I expected! Their selection of cakes and desserts is eye catching when you walk in the door. Their hot pastries are delicious. Ordered a Cuban and was rewarded with the most pathetic sandwich ever. Sloppily constructed, hardly any lechon (pork), mustard, and pickles and NOT PRESSED! Whoever allowed that sandwich to go out the door should be ashamed. BTW, I'm born and raised in Hialeah and have eaten 100's of cuban sandwiches all over Miami and Tampa. The food here is amazing I highly recommend there dolce de leche croissants they are heavenly. The staff is super nice order came out within 3 minutes and u ordered 12 things! My husband and I waited so long for this location to open and unfortunately were quickly disappointed. We are from Miami so we've had Vicky bakery at multiple locations down there and it did not compare. I'm not sure why businesses feel the need to have everything so overpriced but then quality is definitely not matching what you pay. The pastelito de carne was definitely not meat as you can see in the picture. The croquettes tasted like freezer burn and were definitely not cooked all the way, still cold. The pan con mantequilla did not have any butter and the preparadito had the same weird meat as the carne one. Delicias Cuban bakery will still have my business for their AUTHENTIC Cuban food/pastries. read more

The only thing good were the pastries. I hate to do this but it needs to be said. I waited for the opening of this really good establishment that I have visited in Miami. However, I went yesterday and disappointed. Overly priced, the sandwiches were charged at full price however was lacking the main ingredient (pork). I'm disappointed- I heard so many great things about this bakery . I was waiting with open arms and belly! I do rate a place by their coffee and it was shocking to taste The Cafe con leche, and it was weak, pan de bono was small and kind of hard like it was reheated. Went a second time for take out. I ordered empanadas, some other baked goods and the order was missing an empanada and another pastry - to their credit I went a week later and they gave me what was missing and I ordered a cafe con leche but "fuerte" (strong) - it was ok So last Tuesday my car was at the tire place and I figured I'd go and give it a try - disappointed for the third and last time ! The staff is not very friendly either which shocks me because I love my Hispanic/ Latin culture and pride how warm we are! Not feeling it here - I go to el bodegón when I have my family visit - now there's great coffee and very friendly and warm waitresses!! Gotta go and give them a review : ) read more

Absolute trash, their pastelitos get brought in frozen and they either under cook everything or burn them. Never have I had a worse Cuban sandwich or Cafe Con Leche. I have had Vicky in Miami many times and is excellent. Employees just really don't care. Had one of the women sell me a completely burnt pastry and when I pointed it out she says yes the baker over cooked them. Did not offer to replace just sent me on my merry way. Tropical on Kirk still the best locally. read more

I have been anxiously awaiting the opening of this bakery because I am familiar with the one in Hialeah. The only thing good was the service. My order was taken quickly and food brought out right away. I asked for cafe con leche and I was expecting milk with a froth and what I got was lukewarm milk a shot of espresso. They do not know how to make cuban cafe con leche. I ordered a pastel de carne which was also disappointing. The meat tasted like a Pate' that was not very good. I could not bring myself to eating it. The guava pastry was just ok. The croqettas was over cooked but at least they were edible. The croquetas are way smaller than the ones in Hialeah and not as good. Everyone was very nice and the service was good. I waited with anticipation for this location to open but I was not impressed. I am sure that I will return at some point to try something else. Perhaps I will find something that will make it worth the trip. If you have never been to a really good Cuban bakery, then you might find this one meets your needs. read more
