He has an exceptional front office staff that is efficient and courteous and they made sure to have all of my paperwork ready to go when I walked in. It's very frustrating when you make an appt and you walk in and have to do it all over again but Dr Ash and his staff are top notch. He uses an excellent appt booking system and it was super easy to get an appt. Also there is ample parking just to the side of the building. Dr Ash has great chair side demeanor and asked all the right questions regarding my health. It's so refreshing to have a practitioner that truly cares and more imperially knows what he is talking about. Highly recommend.

But Dr. Gladstein was the doctor on-call, and he was short and rude. He called me back immediately after I called the after-hours service, and there was a problem with him getting through to me, so he chose to lecture me via voicemail on how to use my phone so I could receive his call. Seriously? He got voicemail. How about, "Sorry I missed you. Please call the service again and then be prepared for me to call you back very quickly." ?? And then when we did connect: all talk, no listen. Denying things I said that were true. Talking over me. Not hearing me. Not trusting that I knew anything about my own health. (I'm not trying to be a doctor, here; I'm trying to be a good patient advocating for and collaborating on my own care.) After my (amazing) primary care doctor retired, I'm looking for a new primary care physician. I had been told Dr. Gladstein was a "traditional" type of doctor. I now know that was code for "bossy know-it-all who doesn't let the patient speak." Otherwise it's the Physician Assistants. That was ok with me as I liked the PA I usually saw who was Jillian. She seemed to know when she needed to bring in the doctor and when she didn't. That being said, I was never very sick so she could pretty much handle everything. I am very sad that I have had to leave their practice. When you turn 65, I guess they feel they don't make enough money with what Medicare plus what your supplemental pays for a visit, so they charge you a flat fee EVERY YEAR just to be a part of the doctor's practice. $1500 extra per person, per year! Doesn't matter if you have great supplemental insurance (which we do). That's a lot of money and we couldn't afford the $3,000 a year. I guess it's the new thing and other doctors are doing it. But it's not for me. I am now at a wonderful doctor who is excellent and very happy to take Medicare plus my supplemental. He doesn't need for me to pay for him to have a much fancier lifestyle than what I have. He can drive a Prius just like me and it's ok with him. Maybe Dr. Bretsky doesn't want to do Geriatric Medicine and it's his way of thinning out the older patients. I get that. That's his choice. But then I'm not sure why the office acted surprised and a little disappointed that we weren't staying with the practice when I let them know. So if you're in you are creeping up on 65 and looking for a doctor, just be aware that a large fee per year will be looming in your future. If you're ok with this, then he's a great doctor and a very nice office.

My doctor of 6 years sadly retired and I was forced to find a new physician. Not sure where to…read morestart, I searched my insurance directory for a new doctor and luckily ran across Dr. Bruce Olmscheid! Did a quick yelp search and saw nothing but positive reviews and that was enough for me to schedule an appointment. From the second I opened the office door, I was welcomed by two wonderful ladies who helped me get signed in and set up. Not only were they super friendly at 10 AM, but they made an effort to make me feel comfortable and answer all my questions. 5 mins after arriving Dr. Olmscheid greeted me and took me into his office. This was not like any other doctor visit I've ever had before. He was so warm, CARING and he listened to every word I said. I honestly forgot I was in a doctor's office until it was time to check my blood pressure. Normally I'm a little nervous when I'm at the doctors so my blood pressure is usually a little higher than at home when I check it. Surprisingly, it was much lower than normal and I'm certain it was a result of how relaxed Dr. Olmscheid and his team made me feel. If you're looking for a doctor that cares, and is knowledgeable, I highly recommend Dr. Olmscheid. He loves what he does and it shows! *Also, they have an amazing online system that gives you direct contact to the doctor and his team. It's the coolest thing I've ever seen! You can schedule an appointment online and even email the doctor. I'm amazed at how they got everything right. KUDOS!

He walked me through every anxiety I had and gave me a full blood panel. Once my results were in he immediately emailed me and forwarded me the test results. How awesome is that?!
