We passed by this place and went to Driggs for a bigger grocery store. Then we heard things about this store. Do not do what we did. This is a great unique small market. They had everything we needed here. Great selections of everything. Plus some speciality foods and scrumptious treats. The deli is well stocked with salads and such and they make fantastic sandwiches. If you want to barbecue they have great meats, some preseasoned to go directly on the grill. I love this place. It's a go to place. It's a cornerstone as a community. Anything you want wholesome solid wonderful food great energy. I just go here. I'd much rather pay an extra Buck and support this wonderful store than any other place in Victor or Idaho Falls and save a dollar Whoopty do having this Lynch pin. Love this little gem of a market. It's the saving grace for those of us who live in Victor and don't want to schlepp to Brolims. They don't have a huge selection but you can always find things for a great meal with a nice bottle of wine. The sandwiches are favorites and also always enjoy them when fishing with the guys next door at World Cast. ;) my only complaint is some of the people who work there are not very friendly. I'd personally keep the cranky ones in the stock room. Why do you work there if you're not nice? It's bad for business. They need to pay attention to the employees attitudes or people will just drive 10 min further for bigger selection and NICE employees. read more

The sandwich guy is rude and arrogant unwilling to make my sandwiches properly put rotten avocado on my sandwiches, brown lettuce, mushy tomatoes, and one slice of roast beef and one slice of dried turkey that smelled the rest of the store is great arrogant sandwich maker the worst sandwiches ever I'm glad I'm not the only one that feels this way that's written reviews about the deli counter. I could see other people or I'll dissatisfied with the way the delis run by reading other reviews that have been posted with a similar situations and the terrible service at the deli counter so I know it's justify what I said, and they should be having a caring concern to fix this problem with the deli Because the rest of the store and all the other employees that run the store are highly professional, considerate and understanding, including the manager wish and didn't feel so obligated and desperate to have peas, terrible and awful employees that are hurting their business just because they feel they can't find any other help so they're gonna defend negative and poor behavior from certain employees I'm just sad. As a Valley resident, I frequent VVM almost every week. My boyfriend and I LOVE the turkey roast and breakfast bagel. That being said, recently the deli counter has been such a negative experience and has kept us from stopping in a couple times. Several of the deli workers are rude and even comment on their hate of making certain sandwiches. There are a handful of very kind workers (the tall guy who wears the mask and the guy with the fishing hat) but VVM is losing customers because of the TERRIBLE attitudes. read more

We didn't even get a chance to try our sandwiches yet but the women behind the deli were so rude I'm a bit worried. The place closes at 8pm. We were there well before 7pm and ordered 2 sandwiches. Then they started arguing with each other about how damn much they have to do and people need to stop ordering sandwiches. My husband came up to me and said, did you hear them rudely talking about our order. Yep, they weren't quiet about it. We should have walked out but I try not to be rude to others. Another customer walked up right after us and asked for a pound of something and they said "No, our slicer is closed". I get it if you want to close the deli section earlier, but then put a sign - store open til 8, deli open until 6. I guess they don't need the business. I gave 2 stars only because the woman there when we got our coffee this morning was super nice. read more

We ordered sandwiches to eat later on our drive to Jackson. The woman with grey blonde hair at the deli was a jerk. I asked for a roast turkey sandwich with lettuce, mayo and cranberry sauce as listed but without tomatoes and red onions. And add avocado. She snarklily said, "Really? You don't want tomato or onion but want to add avocado? Are you sure?" Yes, ma'am. So when we were on the road and I opened my sandwich, I discovered she had made it her way with tomatoes and onions but without avocado. Really? This is our favorite place to buy meat in Jackson / Driggs / Victor. Kabobs are amazing, carne a safe is spicy and delicious. Prices are extremely comparable to other groceries. They have everything you could need to provision. It is small and can get busy, especially on Sundays, but support local and be patient. read more

Live this store! They have all the rare and exotic foods you'd find in a Wegmans super market. If there is a spice or condiment you need, they'd have it. They also have a wonderful selection of wines that are priced well. The butcher section had a selection of assorted meats, poultry, and fish. I forgot to ask if the beef was choice or prime. We bought a ribeye which was priced at $22 per lb which I thought was a bit pricey. After grilling the steak, it was very flavorful and tender, although with more marbling than we'd prefer. We'll try the filet next time. I also bought the Thyme & olive fresh baked bread and nearly ate the entire loaf in one setting. A must try!! I never leave reviews but my family and I have been vacationing in the Tetons for two weeks and ever since last Tuesday I can't get the service out of my head. My family and I came in for a couple of sandwiches for dinner for a quick and easy meal after a long day in the park. The blonde lady behind the deli counter said they were closed. The man at the register said they shouldn't be closed but when I went back to the deli she rudely insisted they were closed and told my my two 3 year old twins they were making too much noise. We ended up getting some cold sandwiches from a freezer which were good, but I wish we could've tried the fresh made ones! read more

It's a double edge sword for me. VVM has some of the best meat selection in the county, and they are open Sundays. My beef (no pun intended), they still won't take cash. I don't have my debit card with me and they won't take my cash as posted on their doors. People touch so many products, more than money, yet the concern is still stopping myself and others from being patrons. I want to and have the means to spend Money/Cash there right now, but they won't take it. read more

Great variety for such a small place, you can order all types of sandwiches, there were 3 of us so we just got a loaf of local bread and went to the deli, where you can buy all sorts of salads. Had curry turkey salad one day with pesto pasta salad, and the next day tuna salad with Mediterranean chickpea salad. Everything was delicious and fresh. Good selection of local beers and also great coffee. Everyone who worked there was friendly and helpful. Truly a gem read more

First a positive for giving this store 2 stars; this is a nice convenient market that has a good selection of necessities for those living/visiting the Victor area. However they are overwhelmed during peak tourism season (admitted by one of the two cashiers). Checking out with your groceries is a free-for-all. I've visited this store numerous times, and each time waiting in line is a challenge of trying not to get cut. Family member requested 1/2lb of sliced deli meet, only to be told this would cause a shortage of making sandwiches. Not the customer's problem, figure it out and plan ahead ordering better. This store seems only best at supporting the local residents of ~3,000, not when tourism increases which is a shame. Tourist dollars have got to be this town's #1 source of revenue, including Victor Valley Market. I was here in 2020 and visited the store several times and had pleasant experiences. Here again in 2023 it's a completely different vibe. If you come here, be very patient and don't expect to have friendly and great customer service. If you want a more typical grocery store experience drive up the road to Driggs. read more

C store wise they have everything you need- but even more, they have a great wine selection and a fresh deli counter and meat selection. Now here's the big tip- the sandwiches they make at the deli counter are kind boggling good. If you are in Victor and you do not stop here and order the turkey sandwich on rye with the cranberry spread, you have sinned! First time customer while driving back from Yellowstone and Grand Tetons with my wife. Never even heard of Victor Idaho, but saw this cool looking deli and we needed a break from driving. Bought two sandwiches "Cow Tipper" that was roast beef, cheese and veggies, tomato, and a horseradish. A Smoked Turkey with veggies, avocado and the thickest, crispiest bacon I've ever had. The sandwiches were very good, high quality and the variety of flavors very well thought out. The deli has indoor and outdoor seating, the store is very well stocked and everyone is very friendly. Great selection of food, beer, and wine, as well as great sandwiches for lunch or dinner. We always grab locally baked bread from the Victor Valley Market, and grab beer from them when we want something different than Wildlife Pizza or Grand Teton Brewing's offerings (very rarely!). The sandwiches at the Market are great, and they will make them however you would like. All of the sandwiches are served on the locally made(Driggs, ID) bread, and are made with Boar's Head meats meaning they are very tasty. They have a few tables out front and a few inside to sit and enjoy your lunch. The meat selection in the deli goes beyond cold cuts to chicken, fish, beef, and pork most of which can be purchased plain or seasoned for you to cook at home. Although they are a bit more expensive than Broulim's the quality is good and the location is great for us. read more
