I found myself stuck on the 18 towards Big Bear. My car slid on ice despite that I had snow socks on my tires. I guess they really didn't work lol. I was scrambling to find a towing company by me at the time and i called one and they said they didn't go to Big Bear but I called this one and had an automated phone call and then they helped me arrange the tow. They told me 90 minutes at around 10am.... No one came.... Then finally the point of contact at Victor Valley towing got ahold of me with City Towing but they never mentioned any business names. Doesn't seem legit. Victor Valley charged so many fees no transparency they even said they would have to send 2 trucks and no receipts offered just charges on my credit card. They outsourced the job to City Towing who actually made sure I got my tow. I paid them (Victor Valley) 1300 and they said the guys towing me might ask for Zelle payment or cash.. the guys at Fontana Towing were nice polite and didn't ask for extra payment. The entire team here came through for us, big time! My husband was towing our generator up to Kern County one afternoon and its axle broke in two on the 395 - 100 miles from home and 100 miles from his destination. We had a trailer we could tow it up on - but it was in Kern. We called on Victor Valley Towing and explained the situation. They let him drive on to Kern to get the trailer while they picked up the generator as soon as they could, and made the commitment not to charge him storage as long as he got back with the trailer that night. As it turned out, he was exhausted by the time he could get back there and we instead arranged to use a local welder to repair the axle. Shandy - answering the phone late at night - and her manager Rachel were more than kind in working everything out. The next day they drove the generator to the welder and let us pay over the phone (as we were, again, 100 miles away from the place) helped by the competent and friendly day team member (I think Savannah was her name but hope she'll forgive me if I got that wrong). All together, they saved us from what could have been a really horrible, expensive situation and did it with laughter, kindness and competence. Highly recommended! read more

This company was sent to me through AT&T roadside assistance. I was locked out of my car. I was given an ETA 7:38am ( 45 minute wait time which is understandable) When the time passed I called to check the status and they said it was going to be another hour more because she sent her guy on an emergency. She then said she would call AT&T to have someone else get the call. I asked her not to do that because it might be longer and then she said she wasn't going to take the call anyway because AT&T refused payment. I called AT&T and they said that was weird and it wasn't true. AT&T then told me Victor Valley Towing cancelled the call so they sent another company (A&C Roadside service which by the way was excellent). I find this company very unprofessional and if they didn't want the call they shouldn't of taken it in the first place. I was locked out of my car for three hours and it could've been half the time if they would've showed up or allow someone else to take the call in the first place. read more

Well these guys are unbelievable in their rates. I called AAA to pick up my car and they dispatched this company. From there everything went down hill. They charged me for 2 hours when in reality I should have only been charged one hour since their driver had my car loaded and ready in like 25 minutes. However taking your car hostage and trying to talk them about their ridiculous price rates. How many hours does it really take them to transport my car since my accident was only 15-20 mins from their yard? The girl on duty didn't seem to budge and their manager there didn't give a crap. My friends motorcycle was towed by order of the CHP after a wreck and he went to the hospital. Victor valley towing picked up the bike and stored it in their yard. They were very reasonable and compassionate in phone calls trying to find out what we needed to get the bike out. We had to have a notarized statement releasing from the owner and of course pay the fees. I had no problem with the employees when we picked up the bike they were very pleasant and because of damage the bike was hard to push onto the trailer, The employee helped us push it on Without us even asking. The business they are in is going to have a lot of unhappy customers by nature but they were honest and fair and I do recommend. read more

I got my 2wd Suburban stuck offroad in the sand, less than a mile from my house. Tried calling a couple other companies who couldn't help me. Called Victor Valley Towing and the lady who answered said I'll tell the driver give him about 5 minutes to call. I thought alright I've read other tow truck reviews it's gonna be an hour if i even get a call back, so I started walking to my stuck truck just to take a look and bam I get the call, the guy's at my house and looking for where I'm stuck. I tell him on the phone I'm walking back through the desert to my house to get my keys, didn't expect within 5 minutes of my first call to arrive. So I tell him very, very roughly where my car is and hurry to get my keys (you know tow truck companies, expensive). By the time I get my keys from my house he calls me, says I've got your car all hooked up, just need you to put it in neutral. I rush back to my car, bam it's out in 10 seconds with their truck, pretty awesome. The guy is very humble and tells me stories of his night and stuff, real cool dude. I read reviews of them charging 2 hours of work when they do it in less than an hour. I was pulled out and paid for within 30 minutes of my call, pretty darn impressive. I wish they got paid commision or something cause none of what I paid goes to the guys who do the work, they need to change that. Anyway, it's a big screw up getting your 6000 pound SUV stuck in sand, but they made it as painless as it could be, barring I had winch to pull myself out. Idk how other peoples experience was but mine was solid, of course it could just be the driver I got, who needs a raise! It was done so fast I forget the guys name but it was a damn good experience considering other companies said they wouldn't be able to help me unless I was 100 ft from a paved road. They don't take any responsibility for making my car not drivable. My puris was towed wrong causing my break system (computer) to break. I was stranded in a large church parking lot at night unable to start the car and with no one to assist me at that hour. It really rattled me that all the church goers just passed me by without noticing that I had the car door opened yet no one stopped. AAA said it would be an hour for assistance and Victor Valley Towing kept in touch with their progress into Victorville. True to their word, the towing showed up an hour later which was expected considering the distance travelled. It turned out to be a very simple fix where I had locked the wheels of the car and not really turned the steering wheel hard to get the ignition to turn. My previous tows through my insurance have been horrible, but this was a great experience. The tow truck driver lied to me about having the vehicle towed where I wanted it because he wanted to take it to their yard to soak my insurance company for storage fees. The other vehicle involved in the accident was uninsured so of course he towed that one to the individuals house because they knew they were not going to get any money there.... What a shady business, I was not surprised to see all the negative comments here when I looked. so my building manager hired these guys to enforce our parking lot, came home late forgot to put up the pass, I caught them trying to tow me, the driver told me its $300 to release the car and that I can pay in cash, my building patrol guy was nearby and he told me thats too much, so then the driver billed me $160, if i had been in a hurry, desperate, and paid in cash, and if the patrol guy had not been there they would've pocketed $150, this seems like too convenient of a mistake for the driver to have made. Broke down 10 minutes away from my house and expected to get my car back home in an hour or less, unfortunately my roadside assistance contacted Victor Valley Towing. I was told they would be there in 45 minutes to an hour. After 1 1/2 hours I called my insurance who contacted VV Towing and were told they would be an additional 30 more minutes. This happened twice more (A total of an additional hour and a half for those counting) before my insurance finally contacted another tow company, who showed up in 10 minutes. After the 25 or so minutes it took to pick me up, load my car up, drive to my place and drop me and the car off, I get a phone call from Victor Valley Towing, asking to confirm my location so they could send a truck out to assist me. 4 hours after my initial call. Want to get a tow? Call Kelley's Towing instead of getting jerked around for 4 hours or whenever they finally find the time to get to you. read more

Was told they could not let the last local truck pick me up and take me an my vehicle out of the area. Used this towing service because it was recommended by AAA roadside assistance. Although the service call was answered fast and the tow truck driver was polite and professional I rate this place 0...no stars if I could! During the tow my car was damaged and after filing a claim with them they denied any wrong doing. I called AAA and I was advised to take them to small claims court or file a claim with my car insurance. I filed a claim with my auto insurance company and was advised that the damage was most likely due to the way my car was secured on the flat bed during the 99 mile tow. However because the claim was a little less than my $500 deductible they would not be able to help. Had it been more than that they would have paid minus my deductible and then pursued Victor Valley Towing for the $500 and reimburse me once they paid. So I will NEVER use their service again!! I would recommend you take a picture of your vehicle including where the driver hitches on, incase damage is done you have a way to prove it was due to an error on their part. Mistakes happen, we are all human but this towing company refused to pay for damages caused by their service. read more

*Tony* Tonight my rear passenger tire blew out on Mojave Dr. I called AAA and was told it would be about an hour wait for my driver this was at 10pm. I then got an update that it would be 10:45. Tony arrived and had my vehicle on the truck by 10:40. He was beyond amazing and helpful. Had me laughing the whole time which definitely brought down the stress level. He recommended where we could get new tires for good prices and got my vehicle back home which was only about 3 miles away fast and parked it at my residence. I was highly impressed with my service.
