As I was loading my car in preparation for my Las Vegas trip, I noticed one of the tires had a flat. This has never happened to me ever. Now it has. Anyway, I did not want my car to have the flat tire still intact while I was out of town. Hence, I called AAA to have someone come out to replace the flat tire with the spare tire. Thanks AAA! Lonnie from Aguiar's Towing came to the rescue. Prior to his arrival, he called me to provide an update on his ETA. I appreciated him for that. Thank you Lonnie! Lonnie was professional, friendly, and nice. He was very knowledgeable about tires. He found the reason for the flat. There was a metal item punctured into the outside edge of the tire. He said it was not fixable and would have to be replaced. I learned something new about tires that day. Tires 101 or Tires for Dummies! LOL The flat tire was replaced with the spare tire in a jiffy. I had a very disappointing experience with Aguilera's Towing, which was dispatched by AAA. The driver told me my battery was no good and offered to sell me a new one for $235. Thankfully, I took the battery to O'Reilly's afterward, where they tested the battery and confirmed it's perfectly fine. I also asked him to put air in two of my tires that were low -- one was so low I had it in the back of the car after putting on the spare. He refused to put air in all but one tire, claiming the one inside the car "had a hole in it," which I don't see how he could have known. When I asked him to take off my spare and put on the tire I had in the back, he said he couldn't do that either. The whole experience felt like a complete waste of time. Instead of helping, he seemed more interested in selling me a battery I didn't need. It honestly made me question why I even have AAA if the contractors they send out aren't willing to provide basic roadside assistance. read more

I was excited initially to use this company on a few of our rental properties. Unfortunately, they have not been responsive. I took the time to open an account per their request, I completed the paperwork immediately and requested signage for posting, and they never responded or called me back any of the times. I needed a vehicle towed urgently and provided pictures and followed their instructions and they never towed the vehicle after promising they would, I constantly called and never received any calls back. I emailed on several occasions until I finally gave up and will look for a new provider. read more

Was having battery trouble on Tuesday. I called AAA, who sent Aguiar's towing. Jorge came out, but they didn't have the battery size I needed (27) in stock. He said one would be in Friday (today is Friday). In the meantime, I was calling around. Pep Boys did not have it, O'Reilly's had one, but the warranty was for 2 years, Firestone had 1 but didn't provide the warranty time. I waited for today. AAA offers a 3 year warranty for the same price. Joshua came out today. Every time I have interacted with an employee from Aguiar's, they have been great, and it's been on several occasions that I've needed their services throughoutthe years. Mostly for towing. My son locked my only set of keys in the trunk of the car without unlocking the car. I called for service and Ruben showed up to unlock my car. Even though he unlocked it, since it triggered the alarm he wasn't able to open the trunk with the release button. But he didn't give up! I got stuck in a hole in a road that was washed out and aaa kept telling another company from phelon wa coming and they didn't follow my directions and came up thw washes out side. The river said it was impassable and went away. Aaa told me all kinds of nonsense after 4.5 hours and wanted me to sleep my car. Aguiar' came after I called the Chp in an hour and came up the clear part of the road and it was just business as usual. They got me out and home. They told me they thought it was worst than it was and said they charged me half off. I appreciated the value. read more

Wifey and I were towing a trailer on I-15 when we had a catastrophic transmission failure in our 2022 RAM 3500 dually near the Cajon Junction. Traffic was super heavy and I reached out to AAA for a tow. I informed AAA that I also had a 8X12 trailer attached and to ensure to tell the tow company that extra detail.... they didn't. That turned out NOT to be an issue for Anthony, who responded and represented Aguiar's Towing very professionally. He was able to not only get my truck taken care of, but also connected the trailer, then shuttled us to a RAM dealership in Fontana I found for the repair job. Anthony was also extremely helpful in dropping our trailer in a safe place, near that dealership, where I was later able to connect it to a rental truck, so we could continue moving one of my Daughters to Tennessee. I can't thank these guys enough. They also gave me a really good deal (my AAA policy didn't cover the towing of the trailer, just the RAM) was a big relief. My car was hit and I called AAA the tow truck driver Ruben came to tow it. I am a AAA premium member. I ask him to tow it to my house. He said it would be better to tow it to the tow yard. He said there will be no charge. I said are you sure he ssid yes. So i agreed. When it was time for me to have it towed to auto body place I called Aguiars towing and they said before I tow it you have to pay $775 dollars. $495 for towing and $70 for each day. I said I have AAA he said as soon as it hits our yard your AAA is not charged and you are charged our fee. I was mis led by the driver and the manager Chris said that Ruben did exactly what he was supposed to do. I dont think they conducted their business in a appropriate way. read more

If there is 0 star that wha I would rate them. Safety issues. When I picked up my car today, the whole vicinity smelled like strong weed. The person who helped me he couldn't even speak, this is how much high he was . What's funny that they have a sign stating that no alcohol or drugs allowed in the facility, I looked at the sign and I asked the person he was helping me why the whole facility is smelling with strong weed and his response was "I don't know" . I'm a AAA member and they charged me $690 to tow my car for From 3 miles and didn't even use my aaa 100 mile card. Just because my car was in the lot and they had my car keys. They took it as an advantage to overcharge me and lie. Do not use this company, I am submitting a claim complaint against their license and bond. read more

This is the type of business where you typically don't want to find yourself in, because it is never a good thing to need a towing company. However, if you do find yourself in this situation, like I did, I'm glad it was with Aguiar's Towing and it was with Joseph A. Coming back from a camping weekend off-roading, our Jeep ran into some issues near Mormon Rocks View Point. We came to close to the end of one entrance to find our Jeep completely dead! Luckily we had AAA, however, one of the issues was we were borderline in the sandy area and the entrance. I think all the AAA's dispatches in this area are to Aguiar. Long story short, we had to call AAA's for a second time and we were so happy we got Joseph A.! He came to tow our Jeep and took care of it very well! He knew all the tricks to the car! He was able to put it into neutral despite it being dead completely! He was very professional and so friendly and so down to earth! I wish we can request for specific person when you call AAA or a towing company because I would request to have Joseph help us any time we are in trouble. He's so reliable. When we got to the house, it had a narrow entrance to the driveway and there are few huge SUVs parked on the street. We asked if he could back it in a certain way, seemed difficult but he did it so smoothly like it was nothing. Thanks so much AAA's for dispatching Aguiar and for Aguiar for sending us Joseph! Unfortunately, they did not show up after AAA dispatched them to my residence. They canceled the call, and a very cocky woman called and said they weren't coming, and to call AAA and put in another request for service. I asked her, if I call AAA a 2nd time, can they just be on their way soon because my son had to get his car to the Tesla dealer, and we had already waited over 45 minutes for them. She then laughed at me, with a cocky attitude and said no, they would not come before 6pm and our initial call was around 3:15pm. Anyhow, I called AAA back, but to request a different tow company since she said they wouldn't be able to make it out, and after speaking to the AAA rep he knew exactly what woman I spoke to. lol. Pretty amazing, I guess they really don't need my business anyhow. Since they are so busy. I'm disappointed that my son waited outside in the heat for them to come and all along they knew they weren't coming. Pretty nasty, considering the 100 degree temperature. Also, when this person called me to tell me they weren't coming, she did not identify herself as being from Aguiar's. She answered the phone bby saying, "Is this Caroline?" That's exactly what sales people and spammers do, so I feel a company should always introduce themselves on the phone as calling from their company. read more

AAA NEEDS TO STOP USING THIS COMPANY IMMEDIATELY! I contacted AAA due to a flat tire at 8:30 pm. The dispatcher arrives around 9 PM, with a wheel lift. I drive a Tesla X... I would expect one of the companies to know I would need a flatbed tow by that alone. It's their business to know that. The driver seemed pissed that I wouldn't allow him to tear up my vehicle by towing it in this manner. He wanted to swap the rear tire with the front, mind you they're 2 different sizes. Again, I would think he would know this. This is their business! He said it would be another 45 minutes before a flatbed could get here. One hour later, no tow, no call. When I call AAA back to check the status, they stated it'd be another hour. I insisted they request a tow form another company. It's now 12:30 AM. Still no tow. I'm done with AAA and Aguiar's Towing Inc. Horrible customer service. read more

I needed a 100 mile tow. AAA booked Aguiars towing on Tuesday, Aug 17 for a 1030 am pickup. I waited 2 hours. No one showed up. I called AAA multiple times and kept getting "delayed". By the time I got the new eta of between 4-5 pm, I knew they weren't going to show. At 3pm, Aguiars said to call someone else because they couldn't get there. Likely they didn't want to do the 100 mile tow. I am lucky I wasn't stuck on the side of the road waiting for this rinky dink laughable company. Hopefully they get their contract w AAA cancelled. I see I am not the first / only person stuck in a situation to get blown off by Aguiars. Terrible customer service. If you know you can't do the job, decline it from the get-go. Leaving people high and dry on the side of the road, ditch, whatever is unprofessional at the very least. I don't recommend rolling the dice and seeing if you get lucky with Aguiars. Use someone else, or don't say you weren't warned. read more
