I HIGHLY Recommend Guadalupe at LA Fitness in Waterford. Her classes are always alot of fun. She…read moreis good on cueing, has great song selection, easy to follow steps, very engaging, welcoming and always going the extra mile for her participants. if you a gym member at LA fitness or looking to join don't miss GUADALUPE's class. She teaches AM/PM and at least 3x or more a week. Another phenomenal instructor is Giselle at LAF in Waterford.

I see a bunch of low ratings for this club, and I don't understand why. I was a member of this gym…read morefor years but discontinued my membership during COVID. I spent a lot of money on building out a home gym but eventually became less and less active. I stopped working out all together in 2025 but found inspiration in 2026 to get some help. I got a basic gym membership and elected to do a fitness assessment as part of that. I met with Eric Ingram who heads up their personal training program. The guy was an enigma from the start. I went in expecting him to sell me on the gym, but that's not what happened at all. He was pretty blunt about what works at the club and what doesn't - as well as how I can maximize the effectiveness of my workouts. I will say that I was humbled during the assessment. I sit at a desk all day for my job and didn't realize how atrophied some of my muscles had become. I also didn't realize how complex our muscles are with the different layers that all work together. I hurt more in 25 minutes without using any weights than I did in the 3 weeks prior to my assessment using the different machines available in the club. That being said, I liked the assessment a lot - It helped me know what I need to work on and he recommended a few exercises. I was so impressed that I ponied up for some personal training for a few months to help relearn all that I had forgotten. I highly recommend this club and if you join, you have to do the assessment that comes with the membership. It's eye-opening

This is my second month as a member at Club Pilates and I'm completely obsessed. I look forward to…read moreevery class because not only is it a fun, supportive, and uplifting environment but I also feel like I'm getting a great workout. It's excellent for all over toning (way more arms than I would have imagined) and I feel like it's the deepest core work I've ever done. Another thing I love is that you can take so many different types of classes. My favorite is flow but you can do more cardio focused, stretching focused and more. The instructors each have their own style and it's fun to pop in and try a class with everyone to find your favorites. If you've ever considered reformer Pilates, give Club Pilates a try -- your intro class is free!

honestly, i stopped doing pilates because of this place. the attitude of the people at the desk…read more(especially the manager at the time) and even the other members are so weird and snooty. the instructors are nice, but good luck if you have any questions or need help with a move or getting feedback on your form. i got by by watching other people in the class that knew the terms and what was going on, not from the instructors. i haven't been here in a while but i wanted to leave a review because this place, the people that work there, and the members in the classes i took all had this really bad energy, like they were very judgy. it left a bad taste in my mouth and wanted to warn anyone else that wants to go here since it seems the last review was from a while ago.

So far so good! I…read morewas a bit bummed when I got an email saying my gym had been bought out, since I had never been to a Crunch before and had no idea what to expect. But to me honest, it couldn't be any worse, right? 24Hour was not in the best shape. The cable machines were always broken or didn't have carabiners to attach gear to, the seats were torn, the roof was leaking, and the bathrooms were usually down. I started going to the next closest Crunch and I was blown away. Not only working toilets but machines! Tons of machines! And in good condition! It gave me some hope for the former 24Hour location near UCF. Thus far, I am really stoked at all the positive changes. Crunch has brought in so many new machines that I'm confused on what some of them even do. I used to know exactly where to go and now it's a whole new world. Crunch also removed the basketball court to make even more space for specialized equipment. Honestly, there were always arguments in the court and it was not a good use of space. Keeping the gym open DURING a reno can be a bit chaotic as they are making space to lay new pieces of flooring or bring in new equipment, but the awesome new stuff outweighs the inconvenience. Speaking of inconvenience, I have to say I was bummed that Crunch really shortened the hours on weekends. I walked in at 650 and was told they would be closing in 10 minutes. Part of the appeal of 24Hour was well, that it was 24 hours. This means you have to be tactical with how you structure your weekends if you also plan on getting in a lift. Looking forward to seeing the finished product!

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH CRUNCH FITNESS! I never signed up for a membership with Crunch and I…read morestarted to get charged. I had so many issues cancelling and trying to get a refund over the past month for something I never authorized in the first place. I originally had a membership with 24 Hour Fitness and had a BOGO that should've been valid until December 2026. Apparently, Crunch Fitness bought out 24 Hour Fitness and I was NOT notified by either party. In December 2025, I got charged by Crunch Fitness and called them to find out why I was charged for something I didn't sign up for. They told me that they bought 24 Hour Fitness, but they would honor my BOGO if I come in and speak to a manager. On December 18, I called to find out if a manager was in so I could take care of that and I was told they would NOT honor my BOGO because they would lose money and transferred me to a monthly membership that I did NOT authorize. Again, I signed no paperwork with Crunch Fitness and they took my credit card information that I provided 24 Hour Fitness confidentially and started to charge me. Not to mention they had trouble finding a contract for me when I provided my phone number and name, yet had no issue finding my credit card information. I asked to cancel the membership and get a refund since I didn't authorize this. They stated I would need approval for it to be cancelled, but the paperwork was filed. I called every week and it was still waiting for approval to be cancelled. On January 2, I was charged for another month of membership. I called again and spoke to Victoria who said she escalated my case to someone named Marissa and that she would process my refund, but she just got back from vacation so give her a couple days to look through her emails. It's been over 2 weeks since then and still no refund, so I called. Now they stated my refund was denied back in December and there are no notes on my account regarding that. I asked to speak to Marissa and this so called "Manager" said he has no way to contact her even though Victoria, whom is a regular employee, had no problem sending her an email! Crunch Fitness has shady practices, everyone you speak to claims to be a manager, and they have no concern for their "members". I have never experience such unprofessionalism from a gym and I have been a member of both 24 Hour Fitness and LA Fitness. STAY AWAY FROM CRUNCH FITNESS!
