I was tethering on the edge of stars for my review and feel I have two drastic opinions on this location. On one hand, the majority of customer service is fantastic and what keeps me coming back and spending all of my money lol. The women I have had, all approach me in a friendly way and make sure to check in and are trained well enough to seem genuine and happy. (On both VS and Pink) There is a male who may be a new manager there, my first encounter with him rubbed me the wrong way so I actively avoid him when I shop here. (Long store shirt he did not want to get a pair of Pink bottoms off a mannequin for me and kept asking while struggling with it "are you sure this is even your size?" Like no, basic skills never say that to a customer, I'm sure it was my size, then looked realized it was the last pair and politely requested them to ensure it was the last in my size before requesting that pair so i could do the bulk sale they always have.) But I have never had any issues with any other employees. I'm a sucker for sales and always walk out with more than I imagined lol. read more

I hadn't been sized for a bra in along time and most times when I go places I they're not experienced enough to provide what's needed in finding the "right" fit. Well let me tell you Miss Iris at this location got me all they way together yesterday. She was friendly and handled multi-tasking very well as she provided support to me and various customers at the same time. She was relentless on finding me the right fit and boy did she.. it was her break time and she politely responded I'm in here with my customer and I'd like to finish up with her first. That just melted my hearted she could've passed me on someone else but stayed and help me. Checking out was breeze also. I will for definitely return to this location. Holy cow, this place was CROWDED today! It was almost lunch time (11:30 am) on a Wednesday, and there were lots of people taking advantage of the Semi-Annual Clearance Sale. There was a good number of middle aged women, some with their teenage daughters, and lots of (what looked like) high school and college girls. It was hard to move around without almost bumping into someone else. Customers aside, the employees were very helpful. I'd called earlier that day to ask about in-store returns for online purchases and whether they could process exchanges too (because I'd ordered a pair of pants that were too big). The person who picked up was male (can't recall his name) and was able to inform me that I could call VS by phone to order an exchange item, would be charged for the new item, and then the old item could be processed as a return by the store for no fee. I would be refunded for the original item once received & processed by VS's return facility. He did also mention that I could do the exchange order online, which I think isn't true. Anyway, I called the number for phone exchanges on my invoice, and the CSR was super helpful and friendly. She made it clear that I was to treat the old item as a return (not an exchange) and this could be done at the store. When I got to there, again, it was hectic, but most people were browsing so there was only a short wait in line at the registers. The cashier greeted me with a smile, and I explained to her that this was my first time returning an item purchased online. She walked me through what I needed to make the return and what part of the invoice I would be able to keep. It was fast and easy. The reason why I'm not giving more stars is that the employees who walk around the store are a little aggressive (though not in an unfriendly way). I decided to stick around for a few minutes to browse the scented stuff (perfumes, body washes, lotions). An employee sidled up next to me very suddenly and caught me off guard. Whoa! That was kind of alarming. I explained that I was just browsing. She reappeared shortly after, offering a (cute!) bag to put my items in, but I explained that wouldn't be necessary... since if I bought anything, it would be small and not require a bag. I moved to the next display and there she was again! I felt pressured to just buy something so she would leave me alone, but ultimately, her attention was diverted to another customer and I made my way out. If I weren't on a grad student budget, I would buy stuff from here (and VS.com) much more often, but it already feels like VS is slowly siphoning my life savings out of my bank account! :) read more

Meh! (my one word description) Basically we all know this "big box" brand of pitching sexy undies and bras to ladies. I'm constantly left cringing tho when I see a tween or young teen wearing something "Pink" because, while I like porn like the next guy, VS shouldn't be on young girls... it just comes off creepy? (no I'm not a dad, I just find this... disturbing). But anyway, rant aside, this place is expensive, I am a guy, who sometimes accompanies my lady into this store, and I really find it surprising that a pair of undies or bra set you back $20+. Oh and VS, please.. stop... sending me crap EVERY-SINGLE-DAY in my inbox. It seems like you have a semi-annual sale every other week. In conclusion... Meh.. read more

This place is a reminder of why I shop online. It was sooooo busy (okay, I know it's December, but crap - get some more people behind the registers), and the woman doing the return on my items was molasses slow. MOLASSES!!!!! I really do like the VS products - it's why I was there. But I for sure I'll be spending the $6 to return my items next time so that I can avoid this store. The good thing is that it's a big store - so they have a lot of products. I hate the little stores, b/c they never have what you are looking for when you're in a pinch and need to shop in person. read more

This location has VERY friendly employees. In the dressing rooms, theyn are particuarly helpful. I had my first bra fitting ever today and was given an entire box of bras to try on to figure out which ones I liked best and then the staff found the ones I wanted in the store for me in the colors I wanted. No wait in line, huge selection, including swimwear, at this location. Still think the store is kinda pricey, but whatever. People pay it, so they will keep selling it for that price.....HIghly recommend this location. read more

Okay, ladies. We all know we should get fitted for new bras more than we probably do, but it feels awkward and takes time so we don't. I did this time and asked for suggestions, and I'm so glad I did. Staff here helped me pick the right fit and style, and the last few days have been so much comfier. No digging. No chafing. Much less bulging. It happens to the best of us, but it's avoidable. Trust me, you don't know what bra size you should be wearing unless you've been measured in the last six months. Do it. Three times I was ignored in this store. I buy 10-12 VS bras plus extra items a year. I guess I am not good enough to even be acknowledged. Yesterday I went in. I have lost a bit of weight and my bra cup is not fitting properly so I wanted to be fitted. I had intentions of buying at least 1 if not 2 bras immediately. The girl up front radioed to the fitting room that I was on my way back there. Not only was I ignored, but they took other customers in front of me!! I hope other VS stores do not treat me this way. I will drive wherever just so I do not have to go to this store again. read more

Don't go here on a week day - they only have the "Pink" registers open and the line is almost out the door and extremely slow - kinda like roller coaster ride at Cedar Point but not as much fun or worth the wait and forget about getting help on the floor read more

tried calling the store at Briarwood Mall to see if they had an item that was out online and the phone rang and rang and rang and rang. I held on for almost 3 minutes assuming that they were probably busy. I called back several more times and again just rang and rang and rang. There is no alternate number to call and very frustrating as I don't want to waste a trip to the store if they don't have the item I want. *****UPDATE**** google has a wrong number listed and I had to do a live chat with a rep to assist me in getting ahold of this store. She had a different number that they were reached by and she was able to assist me in finding the item I wanted. I called the Westland store as well and that number was disconnected so someone in the Victoria Secret Management needs to update their web info! read more

I came to VS a couple weeks ago to buy a new bra. Let me tell you I always get frustrated with the options for my cup size. However, Jen (Jennifer) and Rachel in the fitting rooms were AMAZING! They were both super patient with me and very friendly, and gave me really great tips on how to pick the best bra. They also gave me great options to choose from. Jen had great intuition and resized me to a size I've never tried, and suggested it may help with the problem I was having with my current bra. It totally worked! Shoutout to Jen for that! read more

I have found the past two years I have lived in Ann Arbor, this is by far the worst Victoria Secret I have ever shopped at. The products are great but, the customer service is poor. I actually wanted help when I entered, but the staff by the door did not greet me. When I finally did get help, it was not that. I described what I was looking for in panties and she just told me to "get whatever [I] usually get". So I asked where to find all panties in that style, she told me 2 places, when in fact I noticed it in multiple more. When I saw something I liked on a mannequin, the sales associates had no idea where to find it. It was overall a terrible experience and I hope I never have to go back (there are limited stores like this nearby, so I may be forced to :( ). read more

Organization is pretty horrible. I went during the semi annual sale and there were bras for 19.99 and under. I chose a few and tried them all on and decided on a really cute one. I confirmed with the girl helping me (I think her name was Jen) that they were indeed all 19.99 or below. She excitedly told me that yes they were a great deal. Unfortunately when I went to checkout it was 68 dollars! ??? I explained to the cashier that I got them at the sale section, but she said that if It didn't ring up then It wasn't on sale. The bra wasn't on display anywhere else in the store so It wasn't a new style either. She said there wasn't anything she could do and I left the store feeling really annoyed and saddened that I had wasted so much of my time trying on and deciding on a bra even having first confirmed pricing with an associate prior to trying It on. They need to clean up their act in how they keep this store organized because apparently neither their signs nor their sales people are trustworthy. read more
