I won a gift card to this store probably a year or two years ago and completely forgot about it until I was doing some cleaning and organizing and came across it. Since I had to go to Annapolis for a doctor's appointment, I decided to stop by to see if there was anything I wanted. I arrived shortly after they opened for the day so I was the only person there. The employee was very helpful as I was looking around and she even directed me to the fitting rooms and checked on me as I was trying things on. They even have infused water for you to drink while in the fitting room area. Even the fitting rooms were sexy in this place with their big curtains as doors. A La Mode offers bra fittings. I didn't ask for one during this visit because I wasn't looking for a bra at the time but I would like to come back and take advantage of this service. In addition to lingerie, they also sell products to help clean and maintain your lingerie and they even sell a few adult toys. Their products are on the pricey side of things but they are high quality.

It was a great shopping experience. There were two sales consultants, both of whom were very pleasant and helpful. Patricia assisted me. They still have some good sales, and their new summer line of loungewear has some really nice pieces. I found a cute lace nightgown with straps that was reduced to $14.99. And then another cute green & white striped one that was only $7.49 when they rang it up! Then I picked up two new pieces that were regularly priced, at $42 and $38. So I managed to replace a whole drawer full of nightwear for about $100. My birthday gift to myself!

Erika and Sarah are two amazing owners and artist that have combined their powers to create such a beautiful experience that serves the community and each and every way. This store has multiple rooms with multiple vintage items. I myself got a ring that I wear every single day, and prince one piece bathing suit that is derived of a painting that Erika made herself. I also bought little silk vintage Asian outfits for my toddlers, as they have a great children's selection as well. They were playing the movie Grease in the store and they have wonderful music. The dressing rooms are all music themed and a lot of the store is inspired by music and art. The value of the clothes are also great. The business owners do well in making great deals. I have never found a vintage store quite like this place. I am from Los Angeles, where we have a ton of vintage stores, and this one in Maryland has swept me away. I have never met anyone who incorporates their own art into a vintage fashion in my whole life.

I truly felt like a super model in New York shooting the cover of Vogue magazine. I was overwhelmed with joy when I saw the quality of the pictures. They were absolutely flawless and captured my inner beauty. I cried and said, "Wow, is that really me?!" I'm still in awe of the phenomenal photographic skill set Leslie possesses. She is a true artist. You might ask why I applied for the Lavish Boudoir Body Love Project. Well, my passion has always been plus size modeling and my dream is to one day be featured in a glitzy magazine or online representing a classy company like Lavish Boudoir. I was told when I met Leslie in person that I was picked sight unseen for this project. She loved my story. I spoke from my heart and here it is... I decided to change my life 4 years ago and make myself a priority. I learn how to live a sober and sassy life, one day at a time. My daughter Presli was my reason why. When I got to Lavish Boudoir I was in awe. These photos are beautiful. Sign me up! And I'm so glad I did. The whole process made me feel like a superstar. Started with a beverage, makeup done by a professional and a multiple outfit photoshoot throughout various places in the studio. The photographer, Leslie doesn't just take incredible photos, she also made the experience fun. Yes, at first it's odd to be in lingerie around someone you don't know, but because of Leslie and the professionalism of her company I was extremely comfortable and relaxed. Annapolis has got a ton of little clothing shops and odds and ends but THE COTTAGE's selection was top notch. They had bracelets, bags, decor, clothes...you name it. I'm from the south and live in Ohio now, but this shop was reminiscent of the shops in the south. Classy and prices reasonable for the quality they carry, plus the staff were so hospitable. Hopefully I'll be stopping in on a regular basis if I get a Mid class 2031.

To differentiate between the two locations they are calling the downtown Annapolis store The Cottage on Main and the Severna Park store The Cottage in The Park. The inventory between the two stores seems very similar. I can almost always find something to buy at this great local, small business. Here are some of my most recent finds: - Avanti greeting cards often featuring funny animals. They are the best! - Keva leather jewelry. It's light and so comfortable to wear. - Farmhouse Fresh lotions and soaps. Great quality and not overbearing scents. - Hobo purses and wallets. Awesome colors, practical designs and yummy leather. - A variety of thoughtful and sweet baby gifts. Lots of pretty prints. - Boho bandeaus. I really like these for working out in the yard. - Rifle Paper Co. stemless drinking glasses. Seems great for anything. - Although not personally a favorite of mine, popular brands like Vera Bradley, Kendra Scott and Swig. Since this location is in downtown Annapolis parking is a consideratoin. On an early weekday morning you might be able to grab a metered spot our front. The Noah Hillman Parking Garage is nearby too. Or you can always drive 15 minutes to the Severna Park location where parking is plentiful. Overall, The Cottage on Main is a great addition to downtown Annapolis.

Dad got crew socks he loves them for cycling. Take a deep breathe, it's pricey but I don't like having to buy cheap clothing that falls apart after one wash. Yea you could go to a discount superstore and buy less expensive clothing but then you'll have to turn around and buy them all over again because of inferior materials. This stuff lasts for like everrrrr.... Couple pluses here, military discount! Show your ID and get a very generous discount. It's no piddly amount it's A LOT! The staff are all helpful and friendly. They wear the clothing line at work. It's nice to see how the material fits this way. They looked like happy and joyful employees. They fit close to your body but as not constructing at all and are incredibly comfortable. I'm shocked that the waist band has accommodated my bump all 9 months. Some people have complained about pilling but I haven't had any issues as long as I wash inside out in cold water and hang dry. I went to this store to buy a looser fitting align jogger pant to wear home from the hospital. Even though this location is one of the smallest I have been to I was able to find exactly what I was looking for in my size. I also picked up a pack of socks to stay cozy when in the hospital. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They have a 25% military and first responder discount which includes spouses!
