Horrible customer service! Refused to return an item that fell apart on 1st wear (with receipt)- all done shopping here

I have been shopping at this VS store forever. I have always liked it and never had a problem. I love their semi-annual sale, which is typically when I buy my panties and start rotating out the old ones. They sell out of my favorite bra in like 5 minutes during this sale, so I usually just suck it up and pay full price at some other time in the year. The customer service is pretty decent. I've never had a problem. Some associates are better than others, but that's pretty normal. I've never had a negative experience that was memorable enough to write about. They've moved locations in the mall a couple times to expand the size of their store and remodel it. It's always improved the shopping experience in here. It's a store I've been shopping at for a solid 15 years, and have no intention of stopping. It's a great store. read more

Love this store and the ladies that work here. They are eager to help and always let you know what's on sale. I'm obsessed with all the lotions and perfumes as well as the clothes that I have to hide from my husband. I definitely love the remodel and the ability to find things a lot easier. I got a bra from this Victoria's Secret about a month ago. The lady who fitted me was in a rush the entire time I was trying them on, and when I got home the bra didn't fit. The cup was too small and it was uncomfortable. I brought it back in but couldn't find my receipt and the store manager took a one second glance at my clean new bra that I never wore and said it was damaged and they couldn't do anything for me. No exchanges, no returns, nothing. She hardly even looked at it before answering. I find it weird that a store can't guarantee their bras or their measurements for even a month. I get it that I didn't have a receipt, but most stores will still let you exchange if it's in good condition. Fuck Victoria's Secret completely, they lost me as a customer. I'll be shopping at Freudian Slip from now on. Their customer service is 10 times better and their bras are higher quality. read more

Worst experience ever! Today I went to Victoria's Secret let me say I shop here a lot never for bras but everything else today I wanted to actually get sized for a bra which I was so happy about. I walked in no welcoming hellos no I'll be with you nothing. I walked up to one of the sales associate and ask if anyone could help? She replied and said we're under staff I said okay, still no reason to not say hello, we will be with you in just one minute. I walked away continue to look for what I wanted and I couldn't find it so I walked back after I saw all 3 sales associates just walking no acknowledging any of the guests. So I ask are you guys still busy to help me ? The girl with dark hair replied I asked you 5 mins ago, I said no you said you are under staff and rolled your eyes and now your saying you could help. She also said " Lauren" I believe I could be wrong on the name but she has blonde hair blue eyes wearing a pink shirt. She said can I help you came off really rude. I laugh and said you know what this is terrible service no thank you. I walked away, I realized you know what people like this should be called out on their shit and be taught a lesson on how to treat their customers. I walked in and asked them what are your names and I would like to speak with your manager the girl said I don't feel comfortable with telling you my name I said I'm not asking for last name but your first name. I said okay who's your manager she replied I am. I laughed and said this is how you treat your customers????? How did you get your position cause as a manager your not acting like one... I asked what is your name again She said Amanda and I asked the other girl what's your name she stayed quite. Nothing my wife walked away asked the other sale associate what is your boss name and where is she the girl said her name is Sierra ( after the fact she said it was Amanda ) so she lied and my wife and I said oh thank you walked away as sierra told the sale associate "you got to be kidding me" . I really wished they would hire or train their employees how to treat their customers and make them feel comfortable and be more kind and helpful and happy etc look up what customers service means or something to better their service at this location. This experience made me not want to spend my money in a place where I got treated terrible at. read more

Two of my daughters have shopped VS religiously for years now and I've accompanied them on their shopping extravaganzas many-a-time, to at least four different VS stores in two states. Unfortunately, on a recent trip to the Valley River Center location, I experienced what may be the rudest customer service in my memory. It was not my daughter, but I, who was looking for some "support" on this trip. The gal who measured and assisted me was efficient but hurried, which is understandable since they were having a sale. I noticed that they really do try to "up sell" and they do get a little pushy with the push ups! I can understand that, it goes with the trade I'm sure. My VS experience went downhill while paying for my selections. When I declined the offer of a VS card, the (maybe) twenty-something at the cash register turned into a little snot basically telling me I was stupid for not getting the card, "you can save hundreds of dollars a year, why wouldn't you want it?". Not your business missy! She then proceeded to tell me, in a Willamette Valley Girl nasal whine, that they don't wrap your purchase in tissue or provide a shopping bag (other than plastic) because "it's a sale for God's sake"! When my daughter politely asked for a catalog, she was told she would have to buy one. This particular associate may benefit from further training!! I am pleased with my purchase and have since been back to the VS at San Francisco Centre, with another daughter where we were treated politely! read more

Maybe I get good service because I'm here a lot. But really, 8 times out of 10, I'm just there for the freebies anyway. When I do purchase, it's a decent amount (may be why I get so many freebies) but I'm always treated respectfully no matter what. Sometimes they are in a hurry because they are busy, and yes, they try to upsell-which is part of their job! read more

Worst customer service and rude as heck female employees. Never have I ever experienced a Victoria Secret like this. No one helped the entire time I was there and when I didn't care for a smell they were spraying everywhere as I got out of the fitting room the ridiculed and laughed at me in front of my boyfriend. I've managed retail stores before and I can tell you that these unkept sloppy looking overweight employees would be fired Immediately!! read more

I am an associate visiting from the Bay Area, California. My experience here was amazing. All the associates were very welcoming with smiles on their faces as soon as we entered. Although a few girls would converse upon their own groups (which I know happens), the customer service was great. No one hesitated to do stock checks. When my best friend asked for a bra the bra specialist did all the steps in helping find a perfect (angel) fit. She was great with words. When I was checking out the manager (Asian with long hair) was super friendly! All the associates in the front felt like they were just one of my best friends because of how comfortable I felt and how sweet they were. The recovery in the store was good! Everything was neat and no mess at all. I raved about how excited I was about the no sales tax here in Oregon. The girls felt bad telling me that they do charge .05 cents for bags but they were shocked to find out in the Bay Area we're charged 25 cents!! It was hilarious. read more

I love Victoria's Secret. They have all the undergarments you could ever want and some more. On this visit I came because I needed seamless (no line) underwear to wear underneath yoga pants. Instead of wandering around the store I just asked for some help and was pointed to the two tables that had what I needed. They had plenty of color and patterns which was a nice surprise because for these types of underwear places usually only have black, nude, and white. The only thing that sucked was all the smalls were hidden amongst the mediums so it was a little hard to find what I needed without making a mess. The other disappointment was that it was 3 for $33. That is some expensive underwear per pair. I needed it, so regardless of the price I bought them. The store was super crowded and the lines were very long but they went fairly quickly because there was 5 cashiers ringing. read more

Clean store, not a lot of inventory to choose from. Was disappointed in them. Went to pay for some items that were 30% off /marked down from clearance price. They pulled the tag when I went back less then a few minutes later and claimed it was not there!! Very poor on their part!! Bad customer service !! Sad you have to do business that way!! I have not been in the store since the remodel. I really like what they have done. It looks beautiful. I usually do my VS shopping online, unless I am unsure of sizing, or unsure of what it actually looks like. I have a certain go to that is comfortable for me so that is why I also do the online shopping because a lot of the time the store doesn't have the colors I want, or my size. I came in the other day, and I actually found some really cute bras's that were my size that were not Grandma colors. I was kind of disappointed in the swimwear lines this year. I have a hard time finding swim wear that fit, Pink, and VS has in the past been one of the only places I have been able to go to get swimwear. I was hoping to get something new for this summer, but have not been able to find anything anywhere. Insert sad face here! This won't stop me from shopping here, because this is the only place I can find bras's that actually fit correctly with support. Ladies, trust me! Get measured, and spend the money on a good fitting bra! You will not regret it! I know they carry make up here, I have only tried the lip gloss. It was really sticky, so I wasn't too much of a fan, but I hear some of their makeup is okay. I like their body sprays scents better than bath, and body works although I know essentially they are from the same company...I just think they have better smelling scents. The product itself is amazing as always (except over priced as always as well). But the local Eugene VS has TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Literally left the store w out an item in my bad and when I came back, w the receipt, the manager looked me straight in the eye and accused me of trying to steal!!! NOT ACCEPTABLE. I bought a pair of leggings online because they were on sale, but they didn't have my size so I ordered the next available size. When they got here I was sadden because they did not fit. I checked online almost daily until I saw my size appear, so I bought them, only it wasn't the sale price. Being that I have worked retail before I assumed it was like most places and you could do an even exchange. Well I live 1 1/2 away so it's not easy for me to come into the store. I finally was able to make it in and it turns out I was wrong. Because they no longer sell these particular leggings they could not do an exchange in price for me because they couldn't confirm the price anymore or whatever even though I had both of my receipts and the tags still on the leggings, and because of how long it was since I purchased them (the first pair in May the second in June and again I live over an hour away so it's not like I could go whenever I wanted). So I returned them both since I wasn't able to get my sale price for them. They gave me a 20% coupon and $15 off my next purchase. Yes that was nice of them, but honestly you lost a costume over this. Horrible way to handle it and horrible costumer service. All I wanted was those leggings and I left empty handed. I recently got married so haven't had time to catch up with reviews, sorry friends and followers ! Here I am now back at reviews. As you can imagine, the first 3 months of my marriage have passed and so has the honeymoon fase. So here I am,reviewing Victoria secret aka VIKY cause she's a friend as she helps keep my marriage spicy. I bought a bodysuit with hearts on in but I had to return it cause my husband was disappointed. You know as I said earlier, romance fase is over so what can a sheer bodysuit with hearts on it do for me? Not much, other than make my girlfriends red with envy. So I had to go back and return it. My husband preferred a crotchless type of situation. I'm surprised VIKY isn't about that type of sexy. Maybe cause it's sold in malls and has to be PG. Anyhow I love my romance lingerie and I always hope for our romance to return. Until then, I have my friend VIKY to feel good about myself! read more

I love the products at Victoria's Secret, but it is evident that the Valley River store in Eugene does not seem to care who they hire. I was "helped" by a VERY heavy (200+ pound) girl who was wearing leggings as pants. This attire is not professional for anyone, heavy or not. She looked extremely trashy and I was so turned off I left the store without buying anything. It is odd to me that a store and brand so focused on maintaining a beautiful and classy appearance would stoop this low. read more

I went in today looking for a normal feminine bra (no gel, no push-ups). The clerks were chatting amongst themselves and we had to go into the perfume area to get any assistance. The clerk told us she could help us, I told her I wanted no-gel, no memory gel, no push-ups and no animal prints. She told us that the selection in my size was in the fitting rooms and lead us there and gave her the information to the other clerks. There was a line, and she announced the size to the clerk that I was looking for in front of the line. When I was taken back, they had me try on sizes when I had already told them my size. They had given me a memory gel bra to try on, when I voiced that I did not like them she told me to try it on anyways for size. I had to wait about 10 minutes for her to come back to check if it fit me. At this point I was very discouraged. The clerks kept bringing me things to try on that were things I told them I did not like so when I was leaving the dressing room two clerks were outside my door insisting that I try on the gel bra when I kept telling them I wasn't comfortable with gel or memory gel. I had to justify why I did not like them and ended up trying to leave again. The clerks insisted that they write down my bra size when I had already told them what size I was before hand. Overall, customer service wasn't very good. They either weren't communicating or weren't listening to my needs. read more

I can't wait for the new store!! Almost every time I go I have an amazing experience. I had a couple major surgeries and coming here kept my Spirits high. The ladies are so nice, welcoming and helpful. I feel like they are my girlfriends when I need advice because they are always so honest and never pushy.
