I'm not impressed with this Victoria's Secret at all. Maybe it's because I had a friend who worked at one in California and that was truly the best one I have ever been to. It may sound sexist but the employees wore high heels and a sleek black uniform. You knew who was an employee and the staff all represented VS well...beauty! This store however, seems like it's a mess. The employees seem to not get along (the atmosphere just feels like they aren't friends outside of work). There are no uniforms so I got confused as to who was working (and many employees looked sloppy). When I came in, I was asked if I needed help quite a few times which was honestly nice because I needed it. I also wanted to get measured properly but one of the employees had me do it myself so it seemed useless. The manager was very helpful and talked me through everything. She was a hard worker and was managing a ton while also working with customers. However, I did hear her get onto an employee right next to me because the employee put a perfume bottle down where it didn't belong. The staff just look miserable and managers should not be telling employees off in front of customers...it's uncomfortable. There was another employee that was nice and helpful and though VS is typically females-only, I like that they're becoming more exclusive and branching out. The dressing room was not well managed and no one is checking bags to see how many items you're bringing in. The room itself was filthy. There were tags and dirt on the floor, it was not clean at all. Overall, not thrilled with this store. The dynamic was off and it doesn't represent VS well with its dirty floors and sloppy "uniforms." read more

Iam pleased to have VS/PINK in the Stamford mall. I find the same things here and in Norwalk. In norwalk it was mess. Stamford is gret and helpful. Its not the Company stores or employees that work hard, everthing has changed I will admit sometimes some workers just ignore you. Thats our youth ! But im good and satisfied. read more

Filthy, disorganized, with some of the rudest staff I have ever dealt with. I purchased over $200 of bras and panties and had the girl behind the register tell me she wasn't allowed to give me boxes. I was yelled at by the lazy fitting room girl for not bringing out bras and hanging them on a rack- her job. When I asked for help locating my size- the girl pointed to a drawer and walked away. Ugh. This is the most run Victoria Secret I have ever been to. Understaffed like crazy, and a messy assortment of lingerie. After no one was there to assist us into a changing room, we had to ask 3 different employees to help us into the changing room. Unfortunately, 2 of them said that they do not work in the changing room zone. One of them said she works at the Victoria Secret, but was not working at that time. This was upsetting, and this shopping- with non-vacuumed floors, and rude staff will not be getting my business in the future. read more

Horrible store, horrible customer service. They have an associate outside the store connecting with customers and they ask a MILLION questions before they let you in. Not a pleasant experience shopping there when there is constantly someone following you around. read more

I hadn't been to the store in the Stamford Mall in awhile and still they are wrapping up my purchases in a little ball before putting them in the bag. Do they not know how to bag the clothes?? I have had the same complaint for years. Put the clothes in the bag and then put the tissue paper on the top. The clothes do not need to be crumpled into a ball. All that does is wrinkle the lingerie. I only shopped there today because I had a birthday coupon. NEVER AGAIN!!!!! read more

I wanted to share my unpleasant experience during a recent visit to Victoria's Secret at the Stamford, CT mall. Hopefully someone in management reads it and cares enough to take a closer look at this malfunctioning store. I am a patient and empathetic person by nature but this experience exceeded even my limits. 1. Sales help: After waiting 10 minutes in-front of the fitting rooms (they were all available) for someone to unlock the doors I had to walk back into the main aerea in search for help. By the time I found an employee, I had almost walked around the entire store. When I finally found the sales girl she was involved in a private conversation ( as I could overhear before interrupting). More than 30 minutes of waiting time (of my time) had passed. She was not apologetic nor did she offer to help with sizes., etc.. Once I noticed I needed another size I pressed the help button inside the changing room - waited another 10 minutes - nobody came. I had to repeated the same procedure again... 2. Hygiene: The floors of the changing rooms were dirty and the T-shirt that was provided in the room was badly reeking of sweat and stained with make-up (hopefully!). 3. Customer service: after another lengthy time waiting at the registers, I was asked if I wanted to open an account with VS - a discount would be applied to my purchase. I agreed and digitally filled out a form. However, when I questioned my receipt, which did not show any discount, she said "it did not go through - this happens sometimes". I have good credit and I have no reason to believe that this was an issue . Not having an instant discount applied to the purchase has never happened in another store. It is misleading to the customer if he thinks he buys with discount but finds out he pays full price after after he already opened an account and paid. As I said at the beginning, I can only hope that someone at VS will look into this matter to make the customer's shopping experience at the Stamford mall a pleasant one. read more

I like this VS because they had work out pants when I went. The only other one with this is the Manhattan. I'm sure they're others, but not any of the others I've been to. Of course, I'm the only one who goes to VS in search of pants. read more

Good store to come in and shop except for the fact that there is hardly ever more than 2 people working. Meaning that one person in always up front and the other is obviously on the floor helping someone. The lines are always terrible and you end up spending at least 35 minutes in line cause they never have more than 1 person working the register and 2 people working the register on the weekends. Anyways unless you have hairs to spend going to the mall it's not worth it anymore. On the bright side they always have sales and most of the time they're pretty freakin awesome! read more

I was absolutely appalled on how these managers treat their customers, and even so, their employees. I overheard a conversation between two managers and another employee and instead of pulling them into the office they had a full blown conversation on the sales floor. Also, I asked an employee Devi for help and she completely ignored me! Absolutely unprofessional. read more

The last three times I've been to this store I've walked out empty handed because after standing on the checkout line for 10-15 minutes I had to leave for an appointment. Today was no exception. 9 people on line and only one person working (not her fault the line was long). As I was walking out of the store I noticed 3 employees standing around chatting with each other, not helping customers or their colleague at the checkout. Clearly this store is not understaffed but poorly managed. read more

I shopped in this store today and the customer service was extremely poor. I waited in line for over 20 minutes and asked the manager if anyone else could do check out. She said "no. Sorry". The manger did not seem to care and was very rude. The woman behind the register was lovely and hardworking but the management staff needs re-training. read more
