If I could give this place zero stars I would. I ordered a dozen long stem red roses for our 14th anniversary, which wasn't cheap ($85). However, what was delivered was a dozen sad looking pink roses. When I contacted the florist he said the red roses weren't in the best of shape, so he decided to send pink ones instead. He also said the fine print on the order stated they would "do their best" to provide the flowers that were ordered and that I should've rejected the delivery if I wasn't pleased with the product. Then he went on to say: "I thought I did the right thing I don't know." The right thing would've been to contact me and let me know that they didn't have good red roses and allow the customer to make the decision. I recently used this florist for the first time and had them do a piece for my mothers funeral and could not be happier. I told Mr Zieff (owner) that I wanted something different than the usual carnation/chrysanthemum floral pieces that I have seen at other funerals. He told me that it may cost a little more since I was requesting something different but I assured him that was acceptable. The floral piece he created was spectacular! Everyone there was asking where I got it. It definitely stood out from all the other funeral pieces. I took it home and called Mr Zieff to thank him. He told me that I could dry out some of the flowers from the piece, which I did. Now I have small dry arrangenent I keep near a picture of my mom. Overall a good florist who does good work. The flowers are a bit pricey but you will find this true for most florists. If you want cheaper flowers go to a shoprite or gas station. I can assure you the people you give them to will know where you bought them. I have been buying flowers for years. Go to your local florist and talk to him. You can see what you are buying and he will help design something really nice. And the flowers usually last lobger than the supermarket ones. You only get what you pay for. read more

I ordered flowers from this place for Mother's Day and was highly disappointed. Ordered a deluxe lavender arrangement that had roses and various other flowers. What my mother received was a small bouquet of Orange,purple and yellow flowers. Looked like they came from a grocery store. Called them to complain and got the run around. Was told to call them back after Mother's Day and they would try and fix it. Called on a Wednesday and was told they had no one to deliver to her but she could come in a get a few roses as a makeup for not having what I ordered. I told them she doesn't drive and I wanted my money back. They said they couldn't do that. Suffice to say I contacted the Better Business Bureau and filed a complaint. Contacting my bank to see if they can get my money back. This place has gone down hill since the last time I used them. Never again read more

Can I rate NO stars? The guy managed to be a jerk in record time -- I asked if he could deliver from 1-3 today, to a location quite close to his shop -- we're talking 1.2 miles here --- in South Orange. He said he could do it, and when I tried to order the $40 arrangement I wanted to send, he said, "Oh, no. My driver isn't coming until 3:30, and I have to make the delivery myself, and I'm not going out for a $40 arrangement." I told him I called the wrong florist. What an asshat. I disagree strongly with Jacquelkne S. that allegedly top quality flowers means that it's acceptable for the owner to treat people rudely in a business that deals with sending out positive vibes to the universe. I received flowers from Victor's florist for Valentines day. The flowers lasted less than two days. I called the florist to inquire about them dying so quickly. The owner/worker addressed me in a harsh tone. He was rude, unprofessional and went so far as to curse at me using the F word. Do not waste your time with this florist. I spent 15+minutes ordering 2 separate arrangements for delivery to Parsippany and Florham Park. The site accepted my orders of $40 each plus $10 delivery fee each. I received a call about 20 minutes later from a man (I would assume Victor) who rudely told me, "I don't deliver to these locations especially not for $40. I'm ripping these orders up". I would suggest you update your website then. If you don't want to waste your time, then don't waste mine. Ordered a corsage and boutineer for my son's prom. Went to pick up just before prom and were told they weren't ready to come back later. The corsage consisted of 2 large orchids and a lopsided bow that didn't fit. That's it. The flowers were huge and kept flopping over. I eventually had to secure it myself which was not easy since I'm not a florist. The boutineer was one large orchid. I spent just under $50 for these 3 flowers. Great place! Owner is an orchid master!! All roses are not dyed and all natural. They know what they are doing. Although customer service is not a top priority one must realize that either you get the quality of the flowers or do you want someone to smile and sell you shitty flowers? Never will I use this place again. They should be ashamed. I used OpenTables Flower Petal program to have flowers delivered for Mothers Day to the restaurant we had reservations in. I did not specifically chose Victor's, I am assuming it was chosen by default because they were the closest but, I got over the exorbitant price tag thinking that they would at least be worth it. Boy was I wrong. I was embarrassed to say the least as the waiter brought over this tiny, poorly arranged mish-mosh of flowers that only slightly resembled what I had ordered. So, so rude on the phone that I actually took the time to call back just to let him know that I was very offended and bothered by the rudeness. Called to inquire about funeral flowers - obviously not a happy time for any customer. Asked if there was a way to know if a particular arrangement had already been ordered many times for the family - I wanted to send something special, different - and he acted like I was an idiot for asking such a thing. Then, when I said I wanted to continue looking online before making a decision and that I'd call back, he said, "Yeah. Right. Sure you will." and hung up! Everything about his tone was off-putting, but to treat a grieving customer with such sarcasm and disdain - I was appalled!
