Bloomers came through in a big way when I needed to order ceremony flowers two weeks before our Saturday wedding, within our budget. I wanted the outdoor pergola decorated but had to pivot to indoor florals due to uncertain weather. I was so touched when I showed up and saw that they had still decorated the pergola with extra greenery, in the style I had initially asked for, in addition to the indoor flowers. On the recommendation of a dear friend, I met with Aggie at Bloomers about the flowers for my wedding which included a Chuppah. Not only did Aggie know what a chuppah was (4 other florists in the area had to have it explained!) but she understood what I wanted perfectly. The morning of the wedding they were at the church setting up and left my hair band and nosegay. They even delivered some flowers to the bakery so that they could finish the cake. I don't have the words to express how beautiful the flowers were and how perfectly Bloomers understood what I wanted. To be sure they are now my ONLY florist! read more

I placed a phone order on Wednesday, May 4 for a flower arrangement to be sent to a funeral home (very near Bloomers Flowers) on Friday, May 6. I very specifically requested the lady who took my order that the arrangement should include only white and yellow flowers -- with some green foliage. I checked on Thursday, May 5 to make sure that the delivery was taking place as scheduled. Imagine my horror when at the funeral service for our 94-year old friend, we saw a purple, blue and red arrangement while all the other flower arrangements were white or white-yellow combinations! I was simply aghast at the complete lack of judgment and disregard shown to my specific request and the disrespect shown to a departed soul. On top of everything, it was a puny arrangement, definitely not worth the amount I paid. I am simply stunned at the callousness of the staff  responsible for handling my order for a funeral service! read more

I was hesitant to even write this review, but I'm so upset about their customer service. First, the lady who answered the phone was rude. Totally disinterested. All I wanted to do was book an appointment for a consultation for my upcoming wedding. The lady told us we can come in Monday (today) on the MLK holiday. Ok great. We were traveling from Manhattan so it was a bit of a drive to Chatham, but we figured it would be worth it. We arrived 10 minutes early to our 10:30am appointment, walked up to their front door, and it was locked. We knocked several times and no one answered. Ok, so we were a few minutes early, so we went back to sit in the car since it was freezing outside. Several minutes later, we knocked again and even called and left them a message to let them know we were here. It's now 20 minutes after we were supposed to start the appointment and still no one is in the store or answering their phone. This company completely bailed on our floral appointment for my wedding. No phone call apologizing, no one in the shop at all. Nothing. Thanks, Bloomers, for letting us make the haul out here only for you to be a no-show for an appointment! Update: it's now 2 hours after the appointment we were supposed to have and a woman from the shop finally calls and only says "we had a delivery to make" {during our appointment time} and "would we like to reschedule?" Really?? No apology? No "I'm sorry we didn't call you" or "Sorry that we never showed up" or anything? Why would we make another appointment, when they couldn't even keep the first one? Totally unprofessional and unreliable. Would never recommend. read more

I use these guys to delivery flowers for my office, the employees big birthday or my wife a couple times of year. Never any problems, if anything, they mite have given more than I paid for. I think they do what they say they are going to provide. Quality flowers delivered by a LOCAL business for a RESONABLE price. read more

I was doing a series of events in the Summit/Chatham area, and had to make the arrangements long-distance. I was referred to Bloomers by one of the event venues that I was using. I made all of the arrangements by email and phone with Aggie, so relied solely upon verbal and written instructions for the product design. I gave Aggie a budget, and we discussed some general color and design ideas. I was more that thrilled with the outcome -- nothing got lost in translation. Aggie delivered, figuratively and literally, to multiple locations, with outstanding results. All of the arrangements exceeded my expectations in execution, and size. Aggie, Emily and Meredith are really talented floral designers and just happy, easygoing people to work with. I used them for an event and they were great at giving tips on what would work well with the rustic, casual look I was after. They suggested adding fern leaves on the napkins -- a small touch that most florists wouldn't bother with but guests noticed. I love supporting local businesses and this small business is so authentic and sweet, yet still creating arrangements like I've used from high-end Manhattan boutique florists, that it's just so smart to choose them. read more

They were a complete no-show for our scheduled appointment for flowers for my daughter's wedding. No phone call, no attempt to contact us. There was no one at the shop at the scheduled time for our appointment. In fact, when I originally made the appointment, I asked if we could meet at 10am, and was told that 10:30am would be better, so WE arranged OUR day to accommodate THEM and they were STILL a no-show. We drove an hour to get there. And stood outside their shop in the freezing cold and then waited in the car for another 20 minutes. Nothing. After returning home many hours later there was a message saying they had an emergency "funeral appointment" they had to tend to. What??? Who has an emergency funeral appointment for flowers? And even if there was such a thing, there is still something called "common courtesy" - surely they had a cell phone or a store phone so that they could have contacted us! No contact until after 12:30 for a 10:30am appointment. And then they had the nerve to ask if we wanted to reschedule! Ha! I think not.... Would NOT recommend Bloomers for anything and for any reason, other than perhaps if you have an "emergency funeral. read more
