I was contacted by Victory regarding an estimate on my roof. After waiting all day for the salesman, I received a call 20 minutes before he was due. The guy said he'd been in a traffic accident and wouldn't be able to make it. Then I got a call from the office, saying the salesman had been delayed on another estimate and they needed to reschedule. Two lies in the same afternoon. I told them then that their company wouldn't be doing my roof. Still, they keep calling me. They say they'll take me off their list to call, then call again. They've called me at least five or six times. The latest was on a SUNDAY EVENING!! I've even written to the CEO. Nothing works. DON'T LET THESE PEOPLE GET YOUR CONTACT INFORMATION OR THEY'LL NEVER STOP CALLING YOU!! read more

They came to my door and I scheduled an appt to get an estimate for my attic. I had to reschedule and said I would call back when I had a better idea. I had every intent to do so. The next day, they called me FIVE times from different numbers and texted me twice to try and reschedule even though I clearly told them I didn't know when would be a good time. I looked up their reviews on Yelp and see this customer service harassment is an issue with Victory. Finally, I told a representative that I would not be following through with a consult after reading their reviews on Yelp and being displeased with the persistent calls. I asked them not to call me again... so he sent me an another text with a link to the reviews on their website instead (all 5 stars of course).... They don't seem to understand the word "no". They've had a rep knock on my door multiple times in the past few months. I work night shifts, and sleep during the day, and seem to always get interrupted by them. Especially when I live in a community where they need a permit to peddle door to door. Salesman came to our door and quoted us 93,000 for siding on our modest-size home. If we took out a loan from them, after all is said and done it would have cost us nearly $250,000. BUT if we signed by that night and allowed them to take photos of our home for their "website" -- the price COULD go down to 67,000. Which was still a hard pass. Got plenty of quotes for our siding ranging between 20,000-30,0000. The salesman also spend 4 hours at our home and stayed til 11pm. Wouldn't take no for an answer. RUN. read more

victory gave us an estimate of $45,000 for a 50 year GAF roof with snow country ridge vent. After hearing the insane quote, we had 3 local, well regarded roofers give us estimates. Their estimates ranged from $16,000 to $20,000 for the same roof. The roofers were all GAF certified. read more

First consultation he is a very sweet and a convincing con artist. Beware, that they themselves did not install my roof. They hired sub contractors. which I did not feel confident in. By then my three-day window to cancel had come and gone. No one from the company had any use for me with demo and thereafter. They say all the right things while lying to your face. Had a constant come over to take measurements and give me quotes on 20 windows. I understand windows are expensive and I'm prepared for it. On the phone call to confirm the appointment I was told it would take a maximum of 90 min of my time, and there's no pressure to commit to anything because the quote will be good for a year. When the guy come, he took 3 hours. 3 F*ing hours? He was nice. Until he starts making comments about how terrible my windows are, how urgent I must replace them, and how important it is that I sign the contract right there and then. When I said I'm waiting for a few more quotes before making such a big decision because it's 60k kind of decision, he start making comments and questions like oh you're saying you wake up in the morning and make the decision to breath in moles every day if you don't sign up and replace these windows now. Are you saying you can come into my home, disrespect my time, disrespect my home, and shame me for not giving you $60k right there and then? Wtf is wrong with this company? Everyone else don't give me such shame and pressure and make such terrible comments on my home. Spent over 3 h with a salesman that was busting my balls with informations, the guy Spencer was nice but keep insisting to sell the product and at the end he lowered the price once he understood I wasn't interested. By the way it was super expensive price. Someone came to our door today and had to be the most pushiest sales person we have ever met. My husband had our door a jar and he actually had the nerve to keep pushing the door. He was relentless we could not get rid of him. We tried to close the door and he kept pushing the door. This is unacceptable. I actually got his license plate off of the van that him and another guy jumped into. I called the police gave them the license plate number. Even if I needed any work done, you people would be the last company that we would call. This company will never do business if you continue to be relentless. And the fact that you knocked on our door, knowing that our siding is not old and either is our roof and you were trying to push both on us is not OK. Stay away from this company is all I can say they are trouble. They had the nerve to go next-door to my neighbors and harassed them as well. This company has continuously solicited my residence even with a no soliciting sign and verbally asking to document my residence as a do not knock. One incident they attempted to sell to my minor disabled son. Today, because one of their idiot recruits ignored the no soliciting sign and a real estate for sale sign, when I tried opening the door a little my 130 pound dog pushed the door and approached him. When I tried to stop my dog, I ended up scraping a two day old tattoo that caused bleeding in several spots. I will be filing a police report because I am going to have to return to the tattoo shop and have any damage repaired. The tattoo was $600 so I will be visiting this company to collect for any damage that was caused. read more

I don't like liars. Was told they were doing business in the area and offered a free estimate. Agreed. First guy was very persuasive but a few of his numbers didn't make sense to me. He stayed hours (way longer than I expected) but I made it clear I was not going to sign up on the spot and would need to do some research and consider. He finally left. I got a call the next day that a manager wanted to visit to get my feedback and, in appreciation, I'd be offered a lower price than the price i was initially quoted. I asked how much lower and was told it would be lower but they couldn't tell me how much yet. I asked if it would take a long time again and was told it would 20 minutes maximum. I said ok. Second guy just came off sketchy. He did not behave like a manager, seemed to just want to reiterate everything good about the company in the guise of making sure the first guy had told me that stuff. It almost felt like I was being quizzed. He asked to see the first quote, which I handed him. Then he asked to look around again to take measurements. I said we'd already done that I was told it wouldn't happen this time, he then said he meant walk around outside. A few minutes later he asked me to come outside and starting pointing out stuff. I mentioned that I'd read some yelp reviews and some people had mentioned the company catastrophizing issues and the first guy had actually said that particular stuff was minor. He got visibly annoyed with me, I could tell. Then he said he'd give me a new quote. I asked for my original quote paperwork back and he said I couldn't have it back. I said I thought it was weird that he wouldn't give that back to me with another quote, like, why wouldn't you let me hold on to the initial paperwork, it's just a quote that you're saying you'll do better on now. He then said he'd give it back to me but had to make a call to figure out what he could offer me. A few minutes later he knocks on my door, hands me back my original paperwork and says something like, you're obviously going to do your research more and I don't think you're interested in our company. Like, dude you just wasted a full hour of my time on this BS and now you're not doing the one thing that I was promised you would do, "in appreciation" for this additional visit, offer me a lower price. Even if he had just knocked $10 off the initial quote, I would have been ok with that. But walking out without even offering a lower quote, despite PROMISING me that on the phone and during the 1-hour of time I took off work to meet you all again (after nearly 3 hours on the first visit) is just being deceitful. If I can't trust you to keep your word on this little thing, why would I ever trust your company to keep your word on anything bigger. No thank you and screw you for wasting my time like that. Victory Home Remodeling has made me feel like they are a scam, and tried to scam me and my family out of 33,780.00 The only mistake I made was giving these guys a call. They kept sending people to harass us, told us a price and then had someone else come out to give a lower price, then another person come out to give you a higher price. We did not ask these people to keep coming out, Victory kept forcing them on us, then on purpose prolonged the process when from the beginning we told them we wanted to cancel. Finally at the end they send a man named Ron out again, who seems to be a great guy but used to scam ppl out of money it appears. After he threatened to make us pay 30 percent of something we didn't agree to because they kept changing the price and also because we were not satisfied with what they were doing, they tried to swindle us. Home owners be aware. Victory Home Remodeling wasted our time, and also made us skeptical about doing work with other companies online. We are looking to pursue this further for the distress they have caused us by their trickery ways. After this happened to me and my family I decided to research them more, and found other reviews where this company did the same thing to people. They never stop calling. I took a home inspection about a year ago. The guy showed up on time and was very polite. However, he wouldn't leave. He was with us for at least 2.5 hours. He kept trying to get us to sign right then and there. At one point he said he needed to use the bathroom - He was in there for like 10 minutes. It was just awkward. That's when the issues started that ultimately led me to give them 1 star nearly a year later. The calls - They called constantly. The never stop. At this point, they could be offering free roofing and gutters and I still wouldn't hire them because they never stop calling. Just don't even bother. Had a guy drop by wanting to schedule a quote yesterday- we do need our roof replaced so we agreed scheduled for 6:30, two hours later. As soon as the sales rep. left, I realized this was the same company my sister had a horrible experience with. (wouldn't leave her house for 3 hours, came back a second time after they finally left, even brought their infant into the whole ordeal as if her life was in danger without their services). Well, we were already signed up so I figured, how bad can it be? They called to confirm and now knowing this was the same horrible company i specifically asked "how long will this take, it's around dinner time so I want to make sure it won't be more than an hour". I was told "not too long, depends on your questions"- an absolute blatant lie. The sales guy came and he was a nice young guy but as soon as he took out his powerpoint presentation i knew I was in for it. He did not leave until 8:40 PM, 2 hours and 10 minutes after he arrived. My whole evening was shot and I couldn't have dinner until 9PM. The best part is the huge push to get you to sign on the spot LOL. One quotes good for a year, the other, maybe 10 min? Based on what others have said, it looks like we got off easy. He quoted both my sister and I outrageous amounts and implied that any other company would do a shoddy job. Obviously there are other reputable companies out there. Knowing my sister went through this pitch, we were able to compare notes and it's just the same lines and fear mongering tactics "the worst part of my job is delivering bad news " " I hate to say it, but this is one of the worst XXX's I've ever seen" etc. Pretty sure you need an acting degree to get hired by Victory. Not going into to much detail, for the price they have quoted, I can buy a decent condo in Atlantic City or redo the kitchen and 3 bathrooms and probably will still have some money left over for a nice 10 days European cruise. I am extremely disappointed with my experience using Victory home remodeling for my roof replacement. Despite the price being significantly higher than other bids I received, I chose to go with Victory hoping for a clean, professional quality installation that I wouldn't have to stress about. Unfortunately, that is not even close to what I received. There were issues with the job being completed on time, I had to ask 2 of the teams to return to fix their work, am still unsatisfied with the result and almost two weeks after the install, a final clean up was still not completed. I understand no one is perfect but if you are paying 15-20% more, you should be able to have reasonably high expectations. In my opinion you could get the same quality for a much lower price and if that's what you are going to get anyway you might as well keep that money in you pocket. The pics attached were taken just before posting this review. To each their own but hopefully I can save at least one person from having an experience like mine. Shop around. There are plenty of better options. Edit - 4/3/24 - The nightmare continues. I now have water leaking in through a gap in the shingles on my lower roof causing a water bubble to form on my living room wall. The 15+ year old roof that Victorys rep convinced me was so bad it needed to be replaced immediately never leaked once in the 2 years since we bought the home but the very expensive new roof that Victory installed leaked within a month. Edit 2 5/29/24- The never ending disaster continues. Despite having to have the team back four times already, I am still finding issues with my roof. Last night I came home to find a shingle from low roof sitting in my front yard which prompted yet another walk around the perimeter of my home to check for further damage. I found more shingles that were lifting, more damaged/bent trim work, and a gaping hole where one of my drains was relocated. This is the total opposite of what I paid for. I had observed Victor painting a clients house a couple years back, so I was familiar with his work. He did not disappoint, on time, quality paint and an excellent job, both inside and out. Victor covered everything so no paint anywhere it wasn't supposed to be. Clean up was like no mess left for me. I would recommend this company with a five star (10 if possible), based on my experience. I was kept informed as to his schedule for my house, so no surprise 'no shows'. I live in Temple Hills md 73 years old, hired Victory home remodeing to install a new roof; every body was proffesional and expained the process to me in details, i do not know nothing about a roof except my roof was in bad shape, the job was done in one day, clean up good roof looks nice, i feel the price was expensive, did not get gutters and down sprouts that was priced separate over 5,000, the gutters on now not bad, the company they finance me with have been blowing my email up about payment is due, and signing up for auto pay, been receiving emails at least two weeks before my paymennt due. which is October 3, i will differently pay on time every month my credit good and i want it to stay good. well i like them, (Victory) they made it happen for me, its just those two things i mention above about what i did not like.
