I recently joined the Victory MMA Family, and it has been one of the best choices I've made in my 23 years on this planet. I've always enjoyed working out and boxing, so trying out Victory MMA was a no-brainer for me. However, people from completely different backgrounds and walks of life have joined the group as well--all have brought a unique spice to the class. The striking and groundwork is awesome, one hour of each per class, finished by conditioning. It's an awesome physical workout as well as a mental one. I am very excited about Victory coming to Plainfield!!! As a student of Sensei Rich I have experienced excellent instruction in MMA. As a 43 year old medical professional I was a little skeptical on starting any kind of MMA class due to fear of injury and the unknown. Victory Martial arts has changed my perception. Victory Martial Arts is our home away from home! Victory has been a blessing to our family! My kids, ages 13, 8 and 6 absolutely love training with Victory. They have learned so much from martial arts, to jiu jitsu and karate to self-discipline, confidence and respect. I have watched my 13 year old go from having no confidence in himself to having confidence that is noticeable by not only his family but his teachers as well. Victory Martial Arts provides training in many of the martial arts such as boxing, Jiu Jitsu, muay thai, kick-boxing and wrestling. I have been with Victory for 2.5 years and will continue to train here. Many of the other gyms that I have been to are not as welcoming and friendly as Victory. They have brought my training up to the next level. The instructors are highly motivated and passionate about teaching, which drives you to achieve more then you think is physically possible. Took my first class last night. I was extremely nervous, as I have never taken a mixed martial arts class.... or any martial arts class for that matter! From the moment I walked in, the instructor, Rich, was engaging and encouraging. He took the time to explain what we were doing and broke down every move.
