Fantastic services. The while staff is so professional and hygenic. The atmosphere is soothing and has a real spa look. Phillip was able to accommodate 6 pedis & 4 manis for my whole group with only a few hours notice on Black Friday. My sister is a professional nail tech and 1) she fell asleep in the pedi chair and she could not think of 1 thing to change. Now that is the highest recommendation from her. I visited this salon the Friday before Valentine's Day and as one can imagine, it was packed! I gave 2 stars due to customer service. The staff wasn't very friendly at all. I noticed 2 women come in and no one even looked up yet my tech had been greeting some of us as we entered. I informed her that some people had come in, she looked up and asked what they wanted as she looked back down at my nails. I thought that was extremely rude and apparently they did too because they left. There are nail salons on every corner and sometimes I think that people forget that choices are available. Based on my observation of staff here, I won't be returning as there was nothing spectacular about their work and the poor attitudes turned me off. read more

I had a great experience here! I went in for a pedicure and eyebrow/lip wax and was very pleased. I am 8 months pregnant and cannot reach my toes. Annie did an amazing job of massaging my poor preggie feet and did a terrific work on my waxing job. The wax even smelled nice - like vanilla or cappuccino. The salon is beautiful. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because I felt like there should be some mid-range options for pedicures (express is $25 or $30 and the next price up is $40 or $42) and that, even though it's better than most, it could use a bit more ventilation. read more

I went in a month ago to get a full manicure (dip powder) and after this last time I will not be returning. I selected two colors: black, and a neon orange, in the spirit of Halloween and Thanksgiving. I was seated, had a bottle of water, and the nail tech told me to get another color, apparently the orange was problematic. I asked her why she couldn't just use the white base powder like my favorite nail tech does (she wasn't working that day, unfortunately) and still, in what I interpreted as a rude, demanding way, insisted I pick another color. I didn't, instead I left. Why even offer a color that can't be handled by everyone? And I might have chosen something else had she not come off as so demanding, like I'm not about to drop $50 to be demanded to go do anything. This seems very petty but in the two and a half years I've been going there, I'm just fed up with them. I'm tired of being asked why I like my nails so short; I have things to do, I can't have long nails. I don't care that they "don't look good" to people. It's for me, not you. I don't appreciate nail techs just getting up and switching out mid-manicure. I don't want my pedicures rushed and my cuticles knicked while getting cleaned up. I don't want my hands treated like chopped meat when I ask to get my cuticles trimmed, and yes, I'm nervous when they file my nails because they get sloppy and knick me frequently, it sucks. One time I went in and the woman running the front was getting her nails done and not paying attention, like hello, hi, I'm here and would like a service please? So many minor offenses over these years and I'm generally done with these nail places that forget you're a customer and act like they're doing you a favor by taking your money for their subpar services. I wish I would have read the reviews before visiting. I went in today to get my dip nails removed and scout out a new nail salon closer to home. The lady wouldn't speak to me. I said hello and asked her how her day was going. She gets up mid service to go help another customer without saying anything to me. Then comes back to finish the removal. She rushed through it and didn't not remove all of the dip powder from 6 of my 10 nails. She tried again and still left dip on 3 nails. After the 3rd attempt there was still residue on one nail. If they can't handle a simple removal, I surely don't want them to do my dip nails or pedicure. I called after I left to give the manager my feedback. Never again. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would! Avoid this place like the plague!!! I went in for a deluxe pedicure and an express manicure. First off, the water was boiling hot and burned the top of my foot multiple times before the lady stopped to fix the temperature (I had asked her to fix it in the beginning). Now i have a scolding red spot on top of my left foot. Then she began working on my right foot. While cleaning up my cuticle on my big toe, she ripped a piece of skin out of my toe. It immediately began to bleed and instead of apologizing, she covers it a towel so I wouldn't look at it. It bled for 15 minutes. After finishing my toes, she did my manicure. Now I know I asked for the express ( and I didn't want nail polish) and I knew it would be fast, but after getting home into better lighting it looked like my nails had been dragged across concrete. She had used what I thought was a mild buffer but instead had used an extra rough buffer (the kind that rough up your nails to be prepared for acrylic). Now there are deep groves in my finger nails. I'm having to go to the store to get something to try an fix this. I paid $60 for this crap. My nails looked better BEFORE I went here. I have posted a picture of my SWOLLEN toe, but my phone won't focus clearly on my nails. I called and asked for my money back and she said not, but if I went up there she would fix my toe and my nails. I told her I didn't won't them anywhere near me.. read more

I will NEVER be returning to this spa EVER AGAIN. This use to be my favorite place and after the last couple experiences I've had I won't be coming back. I went in for a full natural nail dip set, I had 1 broken nail so I got a tip put on it. During my service I was cut TWICE by the nail drill but didn't say anything because it was a busy day. After I leave I noticed my nail with the tip WASNT even glued down to my natural nail, so I go back in to get it fixed & asked if I could have it removed & a new one placed on. Wellll the same lady tries to just glue it down, then she adds dip between the tip & natural nail (wtf) so I told her no I want it removed & replaced with a new one. Then she takes her drill out & starts filling under my tip to "make it thinner" when in reality all she did was file away all of the glue & dip she just shoved under there. I take a look at it ONCE AGAIN ask if she can just replace it & so she starts filing AGAIN & what do you know?! I'm bleeding from underneath my natural nail!!! Not once does she say I'm sorry or apologizes for it, so I'm GLADLY taking my money else where. read more

I am very particular about how my nails look. I just moved to the DFW area from Houston and I have been to three different nail salons trying to find someone who can do my nails. The other places that I went to sucked! This place is awesome! I have no complaints about my nails. They were absolutely perfect. My only issue is that they charged me $10 extra to have almond shape and no one told me that that was the case. So it was $50 for a full set which I think is a bit high. Macey did (attempted) ombre nails because owner said she was the best and the only one that does ombre. My nails were crooked, extremely thick, the color did not look good and she did not clean under my nails when done. I have been here a few times for a pedicure and dip nails. I have always had a good pedicure experience. However, twice now, I have had a negative dip nail experience. After this last time, I will not be back. It's frustrating when I select a color and then it's not in stock. It's frustrating when the nail tech tells me they cannot do the nail shape that I have requested. But what is most frustrating, is when they cut me twice. I absolutely hate being cut. That is how infections occur and it is completely unacceptable. No experienced or trained nail technician should ever cut a client. Also, do not rush me to pick out another nail color after you tell me the color I selected is out of stock. I am very particular about the nail color I choose, and I need more than 30 seconds to pick out a new dip color. read more

Horrible service! Steven my nail tech wasnt paying attention it was too busy looking around the room and talking to the other employees. When he was done I had brown spots on my nail and he tried to cover it with glitter and me and my nails look like a five year olds. He tried to say it was because my nail was brown but my nails are perfectly healthy and nothing wrong with them. They said it would only take 25 minutes and I was there for over an hour just getting my nails done so I couldn't get an eyebrow wax which I would be scared to you after seeing how my nails are. I tried to tell the lady at the front desk and she was extremely rude and was just thinking I was trying to get a free service and I told her no I just want to get what I paid for I paid $40 and my nails look like crap uneven and too much glitter they don't match! They look awful!!! I told her that I wanted to take the $40 off my card and she said oh you can try to file a lawsuit that you wont win. Very poor service. Had my nails done there and absolutely hated them. (I normally have my nails done by Stephen who was great but he recently quit) anyway...I picked a color from the samples to have my nails dipped. When the technician did the first dip I noticed that the color appeared more red than the pink color I picked from the sample. I voiced my concern and she said I needed to wait until after she was done doing all of the dips and the top coat and the color would match the sample i picked at the end. I was worried the entire time because the powder kept getting more fire engine red instead of the soft pink I picked. When she completed the job it was red! I told her I did not like the color and I was not happy. A manager came by and told me that sometimes the sample color has sat out for a while and the color fades. (Understandable) But the color on my nails was not the color I picked. I wanted my nails redone but because it was the day before Thanksgiving the salon was very busy. Upon checkout I thought surely I would be offered a considerable discount due to being 100% unsatisfied with my nails and NOT HAPPY AT ALL (almost disgusted) but I was charged full price! Not only did they not offer but when I asked if anything could be done to fix the issue the manager came out and again said full price that it's not their fault the nail sample color faded and appeared differently than what I got. Peppermint pedi was wonderful!!! You get a wax or a hot stone with it.. I picked hot stone and it was perfect. You get a leg and foot massage with it too. Less then $40 for all of that. Its rare I get my nails done, because I am particular with my nails. I want perfection. The first time I came to this salon, the girl that did my nails (gel mani) was great. This second time around was not so great, it was a male and his filing technique on my natural nails for a gel mani was horrendous. I could not believe it. He filed my nails vertically, he was rough and he cut my nails with a huge nail clipper and my nails bent, it gave me chills. Not to dis on males doing nails but just from my experience, it is just not their specialty - speaking for gel mani or regular mani's. I received a $50 gift card for Mother's Day for Vida Nails and the purchaser included the receipt to the gift card for me.  I went to the salon on 5/18/17 to use the gift card.  When I went to check out the owner, "Tiagn?", told me that my gift card had no money on it and that maybe I had another one.  I told her that I did not have another one.  I explained that it was a gift and provided her with the receipt.  The owner then checked the receipt and said that the gift card number on the physical card did NOT match the gift card number on the receipt and that it was no good.  As the conversation continued the owner made it very clear by her questions and words that I was not telling the truth and I was treated like a thief.  She made it clear that there was no way that an error could have been made on their part during the purchase transaction.  She pointed to the sign on the desk that states their gift card policy.  She made me pay for my service and offered no resolution.  She called me "rude" after she accused me of being a dishonest thieving liar (in so many words).  Shortly after that she said pointed to the front door and said "there is the door you may leave now". Linda is the employee whose name is on the receipt as having handled the purchase of the gift card.  As I have shared though, Linda could not have made an error and loaded the wrong card or entered the wrong number according to the owner. It was I who was lying and scheming. This is an unacceptable and unethical business practice.  I was flabbergasted and dumbfounded by this experience.   I will never return to this salon. I agree with every review written about this salon. They are very rude and customer service a word that they do not know. This attitude obviously coming from the top as this was the owner herself behaving in this manner towards a paying costumer.  They received $50 from the gift card, and then additional money from me. This owner, and her employees, do not understand that it is we the customers that make or break her business.
